I know on paper Pet and I was a formable duo, but the no communication has been a major hindrance. I didnt even know for sure she could protect me until it actually happened. I just kinda had my fingers crossed that I had nailed the hints in my PM.

And if Jaded was the last scum left, then technically town has won, even if he's going to come back to life tonight. He is currently dead. *Checks win condition* that's enough for a town win.

So the way I see it, regardless of whether Jaded is scum or not, there's more scum. So if there's only one scum left, Jaded is clear.

I think now's a good time to re-emphasise that no-one has claimed survivor. If you are now might be a good time to speak up, as we're going to have to lynch someone eventually.

I want everyone to bare proof of their alignment. Go through the nights and support that you are who you say you are. If we want to figure out's who's the remaining scum, we can probably find some sort of inconsistency somewhere.

That might not be necessary, but I'm willing to go eye-for-an-eye to figure this out.

Assume that the write up shows someone messing with an unholy artifact for a reason.

Since no one's sharing info, lets also assume that reason is bad.

The person in the write up is male. Gonna assume the person can't go out at night ebcause if they could, they would now have to account for being home. (assuming thats the person's home.)

I have Jaded, Bak, MJ, and Crayon fitting the bill.

Astil was in jail and doesn't apply.

Everyone else is female, goes out, or some such.

What do I have left to tell? I'm Mario.

Honestly, I have kind of embellished myself a bit for the sake of survival, but I haven't lied or even implied the contrary to what I will now explain.

I had 3 items: A Leaf, A Star, and a Mega Mushroom.

I had one use of each, and they're all gone.

The leaf made me untargetable (or unreachable, whatever phrasing fits the reality) because I flew up into the sky. I used this the night M-ded said he ended up on me. There's not much proof one way or the other to say whether he really targeted me or ended up on me, but I called my ability before anyone else volunteered info.

The star made it so whoever targeted me that night got silenced for the following day. I used this the night Petrija got silenced. I've brought this one up as well. I suggested maybe I knocked Petrija out, but the genders don't match. (Note to everyone: Check genders again. What gender did Petrija claim? We know she's a woman or "young hero" or something from that write-up.)

The Mega Mushroom has already been well documented. All powers used on the night of use had a 50/50 shot of targeting me.

I'm powerless now. Considering I'm not much of a help alive aside from simply being alive, withholding is more of a detriment to my health at this point. (At some point, someone suggested they had a few one-shot powers and I said my role was structured similarly. I think that person ended up being Venom, but seeing as it's already in the thread, I figured I'd bring that up simply to show I'm not making this up now... :p)

There is zero indication Petrija has turned. Im not even sure Alucard could turn if Integra is still alive. The only other assumption would be Hellsing is always evil, which is incredibly asinine.

This is partially true - but not completely. Now, obviously she started attacking people after she was attacked, so there's logic in that. But she has started attacking people. I know, I know, she could be completely telling the truth - look, I only had her down as 30% chance of being scum, you've got me down as over 55%, so don't feel offended on her behalf.

But she has attacked people, and hasn't fully explained why. Did she have to find a human to feed on? Was it optional, but meanwhile she list her other powers? Did she expect to kill her target? Did she target crayon in hoping he would survive because of his ability? Was she trying to kill someone (after beingn able to put some of the blame on you by consulting with you)?

Unanswered questions. Most non-DC people have given full disclosure (or have simply lied full disclosure).

Even if crayon is scum, crayon hasn't shown the potential to physically go out and hurt people.

It's not like we're suddenly going to find 2 scum and not be able to handle them in the time it takes to pull off 2 lynches... That's the only case where I'd see a vig being useful.

As for a protector, we haven't seen any deaths lately so that probably doesn't matter. The only kill we know about it Pet's!

Quick reply here, as I'll need to go fetch some more quotes to do my full reply. But as for the bolded above, when I said don't block me, I was under the impression that we'd definitely have at least one kill attempt last night -- assuming I'd most likely be the topic of discussion the next day, regardless of what happened, the notion was a) a kill attempt may be stopped by blocking someone else, and that b) that at least people wouldn't be wasting time going "umm ahh, maybe?" when discussion of me came up again. There's not much I can do to prove myself besides getting attacked or being under watch (which I was kind of assuming would have happened) while sh*t is going down (couldn't think of a better way to phrase it).

Obviously my attempt to have myself proved by way of exclusionis all moot seeing as there was no kill attempt we can see last night.

The woman grabbed the package, which was heavier than expected and walked inside. She wasn't expecting any deliveries tonight and was quite curious as to what it was. Her curiosity would have to be delayed however, as the building began to shake. Slowly, vines and limbs tore through the walls and moving towards her.

Deftly, and still holding the package, she dodged one vine and then another. A smaller vine crawled up from behind and attached itself to her ankle. This caused the woman to trip and fall to the ground as she tried to make a run for it. The shaking grew louder and, at this point, would better be described as rumbling. Slowly, a massive tree root emerged through the floor and positioned itself above the woman's head.

Things did not look good.

At a speed that can only be described as inhuman, the figure darted through a window and snapped the massive root of the ground and tossed it to the side. With a surprisingly gentle motion, the figure reached down and offered the woman his hand. Quickly, he pulled her into his arms and darted out of the building, dodging all of the insidious plant-life along the way.

Four blocks were covered in four seconds. He set the woman, still holding her package, down, and turned to head back to the scene. He wouldn't make it, however...

... as another figure, from an impressive distance, would blast him in the face with a burst of energy. The unlikely hero dropped to the ground, his face and upper torso scorched. Miraculously, he was still alive, though in this condition, he might not be for long.

And so the woman would return the favor immediately, as she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to safety.

Okay, so here's something that intrigues me. Seems Ivy went to kill someone, and said someone was saved from Ivy's killing, only for that second person (saver not savee) be blasted.

And then Wag was killed.

Now was Wag vigged, or was the saver disabled by someone? The reason I ask is because there seems to be a lack of compassion in that kill. Almost cold, and without knowing the details of the fed that EFG originated in, I wonder of the possibility of a late blossom SK (a la Lakeside), whereas the blaster seems to fit the same style of kill that took over when Tryps bit it.

The only conclusion I can come to is that it wasn't town, and was an indication of scum gearing up for something.. It may explain Waghlon's death, although it could also be recruitment perhaps.. whatever it was, I would have to assume it was the start of something, given the choice of wording.

As Eayragt says, it may also be someone previously town, turning scum. I don't know how likely this is in a mafia game.. but if that's what happened then it makes everything a lot more hazy. Astil (being in jail) and iMac would be the one's I'd put the most faith in.. possibly Wallbanger too (as long we're assuming that a townie gaining the ability to kill renders their previous abilities unusable). I'd double ensure not lynching Astil because if someone has gained the power to kill, their role power level may also have changed, right?

Conveniently it also places me in the clear since I was jailed the night that this happened, but take that for what you will. Last thing I want to do is get lynched if Jaded actually has died, since there's the possibility that I could still survive an attack.

It does also leave room for Alucard/petrija.. this is a far-reaching theory, so don't take it as gospel, but Alucard could have turned without Integra/Gruntmark being in on it.. so one doesn't necessarily incriminate the other by way of association, using the theory of someone "turning". If this is the route which is taken, iMac is free to stick me in jail again, right? As long as it's not another no-kill (if it is, I have no idea how the game is supposed to end) that should pretty much prove me, with the added bonus of me not being a) vigged, b) killed, c) hospitalized, or d) having nothing happen to me (assuming the creature factor). Obviously I'm not a fan of any of those multi-choices, seeing as only one out the four gets us anywhere closer to proving scum. A, B, and D takes us straight back to Reasonable Doubt-ville.

Ironically, our biggest problem right now is that there is no killing to go off. Which makes me think that a) the killing is optional, b) the killer has more than one ability (which could explain the testing thing of last night?), or c) I have no friggin clue what.

If they are optional it's likely someone who feels/felt comfortable that they wouldn't wind up on the chopping block today. Something to keep in mind for future days once the town is more clear on what the killer can/can't do.

Night 10

The creature burst through the room with inhuman speed and startled the young man, who appeared to be busily working at their desk.

The embrace was quick and, just as quickly, the creature flung the young man to the side, quite literally bouncing him off of the wall.

The young man lifted a hand, as if to protest, but was far too weak to do more.

Night 11

He grabbed the unholy instrument from its hiding place and tossed it on his workspace. Tonight, it seems, was a night for experimentation.

What did he hope to learn? What was the value in this? Was this the right time for this sort of behavior? If he made an error, which admittedly, was extremely unlikely, it would be the end of him. Yet still, he pressed on.

Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe now was the time to make his move. No, he took a deep breath and convinced himself to stick with the plan.

He sat down and performed the experiment.

Instead, a mountain of a man crashed through the wall behind him, dropping bricks and pieces of the building's wooden frame onto the meditating man's unsuspecting back, pinning him to the ground. The attacker finished the job very matter of factly, slamming his foot into the back of Comradebot's head, crushing his face into the ground.

Moments later, another showed up on the scene... Too late. Oh well.

Another massive man was out and about tonight. He stomped along the streets, looking for someone with answers. Along the way, he bumped into a more normal sized man.

This person freaked out and started screaming in the other guy's face, while simultaneously jabbing his finger into the big guy's chest. "Are you ****ing kidding me? Is this some of kind of joke? Are you trying to get me killed or what?"

This brute didn't take kindly to the finger jabbing or the yelling in his face. With surprising speed, he grabbed the smaller person's finger and bent it backwards, forcing him to his knees.

Hmm, maybe this little punk has some answers, the big guy thought. Just as he was about to break an arm, a small figure sprung out of nowhere. The small figure yelled:

"SURPRISE!"

And then blew a party blower in the big guy's direction. The contraption made a typically annoying noise, as it unrolled under the force of the small figure's lungs. The end of the party blower stopped inches from the big guys face.

With a determined look, the small figure blew again, this time harder. The party blower suddenly expanded one more time, with the end of it turning into an inflated fist, which struck the large man directly in the nose.

Irritated, he flung the other guy to the side and reached for the smaller figure. Much to his dismay, the little goof was long gone. Then he turned around and looked for the jerk from earlier. He had scattered off too.

Just his luck.

Once again, a massive man set into the night, looking to dish out his own brand of justice. His head wasn't too clear though. He had made some plans of his own, but couldn't remember them now.

Something, or maybe someone, had happened to him tonight.

The aroma... what was it?

Didn't matter. There was his mark. The voices in his head were clear, this guy knew something and he needed to shake him down. Of course, he looked like a tough one. Good. Just like he liked them. No need to play by the rules.

He attacked from behind, pummelling his target into the ground. He roughed him up but good.

And the idiot didn't talk.

So he slammed his target's head in a car door.

Repeatedly.

Eventually, his target talked. They all talked. Happy with his work, the man turned to head back to his room.

*BAM*

The man fell to the ground, bleeding from the torso. Shooting him from a distance? What a bunch of pansies. Slowly, the man climbed to his feet.

Another gunshot, this time to the throat. Again, the man fell to the ground. Choaking on his blood, the man struggled to his feet and responded to his invisible attacker.

"Is...that...the...best...you...can...do?"

Again, the man pulled himself to his feet.

Another bullet, this time to the stomach. The man fell to his knees. He could survive being shot, but this was getting ridiculous. The killer was good. He'd done his homework. Injured, the man knew he needed to get to cover. He crawled slowly, but it was no use.

The bullet flew through Arrow's head, dropping him to the ground.

Sadly, it'd be a one-shot reunion for one of the participants.

Startled, she was just barely able to snap her whip upward, snagging the man's wrist and preventing her fall. Dangling off the edge, she started climbing the whip.

The man smirked, then grabbed the whip with both hands. He strained... and strained some more.

Amazingly, the man ripped the bullwhip in half. Zeel1 fell to the ground, making a sickening thud upon impact.

He was risking much, engaging this monster in hand to hand combat. It was time to end this. A swift kick to the inside of the knee, twisting around... a back elbow to the nose. A sickening crunch.

A front kick to the groin, then a hard chop to the collarbone. The attack brought the big man to his knees.

Gonvick was startled, however, when the large man punched him in the stomach, forcing all of the air form his lungs.

How did he shrug off those att...

His thought process was interuppted, as the large man flung him into a nearby brick wall, face first. He was disoriented. His senses couldn't compensate for the trauma his brain was currently experiencing.

Gonvick's last vision would be the brute standing over him.

Holding a dumpster.

And then dropping it on him.

Then a massive root emerged through the floor. It wrapped itself around her body. She fought and struggled, stabbing at the root with her weapon. Yet the root was old and strong and could not be separated.

Slowly, it tightened around derek_b's body. And slowly, her life faded away.

The woman grabbed the package, which was heavier than expected and walked inside. She wasn't expecting any deliveries tonight and was quite curious as to what it was. Her curiosity would have to be delayed however, as the building began to shake. Slowly, vines and limbs tore through the walls and moving towards her.

Deftly, and still holding the package, she dodged one vine and then another. A smaller vine crawled up from behind and attached itself to her ankle. This caused the woman to trip and fall to the ground as she tried to make a run for it. The shaking grew louder and, at this point, would better be described as rumbling. Slowly, a massive tree root emerged through the floor and positioned itself above the woman's head.

Things did not look good.

At a speed that can only be described as inhuman, the figure darted through a window and snapped the massive root of the ground and tossed it to the side. With a surprisingly gentle motion, the figure reached down and offered the woman his hand. Quickly, he pulled her into his arms and darted out of the building, dodging all of the insidious plant-life along the way.

Four blocks were covered in four seconds. He set the woman, still holding her package, down, and turned to head back to the scene. He wouldn't make it, however...

... as another figure, from an impressive distance, would blast him in the face with a burst of energy. The unlikely hero dropped to the ground, his face and upper torso scorched. Miraculously, he was still alive, though in this condition, he might not be for long.

And so the woman would return the favor immediately, as she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to safety.

The creature burst through the room with inhuman speed and startled the young man, who appeared to be busily working at their desk.

The embrace was quick and, just as quickly, the creature flung the young man to the side, quite literally bouncing him off of the wall.

The young man lifted a hand, as if to protest, but was far too weak to do more.







He grabbed the unholy instrument from its hiding place and tossed it on his workspace. Tonight, it seems, was a night for experimentation.

What did he hope to learn? What was the value in this? Was this the right time for this sort of behavior? If he made an error, which admittedly, was extremely unlikely, it would be the end of him. Yet still, he pressed on.

Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe now was the time to make his move. No, he took a deep breath and convinced himself to stick with the plan.

He sat down and performed the experiment.

In fact, really, this is the only instance of similarity involving a player thats still alive.

Fair enough point, but keep in mind that Waghlon also had a "work bench".. Integra Hellsing could have one.. hell, even Nightwing or Judge Dredd could have a "work space" (doubtful that iMac is the person, but I'm just saying). Don't expect it to remove any doubts, but something to keep in mind.

A lot of the stuff, in retrospect, is pretty cut and dry. In fact upon re-reading it I pretty much believe Bak now.

His two words he mutters before summoning the Ice are Ban Kai which fits that character.



When Destiny died, it was part of a mid day event. DWW said then and there that there were several such events planned. We haven't seen anything like that since.

DWW has purposefully kept the remaining scum hidden, perhaps because it was already anticipated that the Masons and the Scum would be the first stage of the game. What is going on now is something else.

An interest in items or unholy stuff, as a defining character trait.. not really anyone I can think of (keep in mind this is a mod of 1,400 workers, some which were added purely out of obligation than because I was interested in them). As a general trait it could come down to any tyrant or meglomaniac (collecting of such stuff for their plans).

An unholy item though, that's taking us more into the realm of dark arts, so potentially some kind of witch doctor, satanist, etc.. Clown from Spawn (is in same promotion as Marv/Arrows)? Again, doesn't really match the writeups though.

Makes sense that it could be a halfway mark thing. Obviously I don't agree with the finger being pointed at me, but it makes logical sense and fits pretty close in line with my theory as well (anti's being that the person was always evil, and mine being that someone may have turned). Both seem plausible, anti's possibly more (if only because it'd be hell trying to figure out who had turned).

After looking at everything again, I'm beginning to think crayon, BHK, and eayragt are the least secure roles (followed closely by petrija still).

The "unholy instrument" guy doesn't seem to be working with something "unholy" as in "occult". It seems to be more along the lines of "malevolent". This is just an guess, but it does seem more scientific than anything. (It seems scientific and prone to failure.)

There's this too: "Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe now was the time to make his move. No, he took a deep breath and convinced himself to stick with the plan."

This suggests the guy had some sort of other option(s).

Here's the best way I can explain. I'm Alucard. We know this. My role title, in full is, Alucard Hellsing, Justice Aligned Vampire Operative.

Due to being a vampire, I am less powerful during the day, and I am therefore easier to lynch.

On the flip side, I'm nearly impossible to kill at night.

The only thing I do at night, is protect GruntMark. It is a default, and I don't send in pms. So what the whole "Bluestar was rapidfiring off pms" was all about, I'm not sure. Just to be clear, GM and I cannot speak outside the thread.

The only exception to this was because I was injured on Night 8.

When I was injured, I was told that as a Vampire, a hospital would do me no good, so I'd have to feed on someone to heal. The person I chose to feed on would be roleblocked, and I would heal. Also, if investigated WHILE I was feeding, I would come up as a threat, because vampires are "scary". And, while feeding, GM would be unprotected because I was busy. (That's why it would have been nice to know about said tool thing that GM mentioned.)

Night 9, my first attempt to heal was to target Prophet, because of all the controversy surrounding him, I figured he was scum, thus, no harm no foul if I hurt him. I wasn't told that my attack would injure someone, but I figured the nature of the attack, it just might hurt them along with roleblock them. I'm an idiot because I didn't realize he was in jail, and therefore I was unable to heal.

The next night, being Night 10, I asked GM who he thought was scum (because as I have said MANY times before now, I'm in so far over my head in subject knowledge it's not even funny, which is WHY, MJ, I've been so quiet. I've stated this.) He told me either Crayon or Supermareo. Seeing as Supermareo was in jail, I chose to go after Crayon.

Depends on your take. I think most Death Note fans (of which my daughter is one of the more rabid ones) would classify Light Yagami as an anti-hero and not evil per se. His methods and tools are dark, and his motivations shift, but up until the time Light's own name is written in the Death Note most would not consider him 'evil' at his core.

As Eayragt says, it may also be someone previously town, turning scum. I don't know how likely this is in a mafia game.. but if that's what happened then it makes everything a lot more hazy. Astil (being in jail) and iMac would be the one's I'd put the most faith in.. possibly Wallbanger too (as long we're assuming that a townie gaining the ability to kill renders their previous abilities unusable). I'd double ensure not lynching Astil because if someone has gained the power to kill, their role power level may also have changed, right?

Conveniently it also places me in the clear since I was jailed the night that this happened, but take that for what you will. Last thing I want to do is get lynched if Jaded actually has died, since there's the possibility that I could still survive an attack.

My theory on why I silenced Jaded (assuming I did, and it turns out I may not) is because he didn't have an active night ability, therefore he didn't gain from being powered up, so got overpowered, and silenced.

However, Jaded said that he knew he was powered up on Night 2. Hang on - perhaps Arrows tried to vig Jaded, and his "powering up" meant that instead of dying for a day he just got silenced? That would seem to make sense.

Thank you - it makes perfect sense, and I've got no reason to disbelieve you. Also in your favour the "It's time" guy was on the same night as you and GruntMark were in the writeup, but in a different part. Regardless on the genders, it's unlikely to be you.

However, there is a theory that you have a better chance of winning if lynched now, rather than risking turning if Grunt gets it for some reason later, decreasing your chances of a win. That's not a theory I'm currently going to role with.

There's a notebook (obviously), Light then writes down the targets name in the book and optionally specifies a method of death, while keeping a picture of their face in his head (if he doesn't know what they look like it won't work). If there is no method specified or the method specified is not possible the target will die of a heart attack by default (would explain Waghlon).

Umm, the deathnote can be passed on to others.. it is linked to a specific "shinigami" who is the true owner of the note. Aside from that I can't think of anything. It has been a while since I read it.

I honestly am out of my league right now, so I have no clue about the death note or what it would do.

I must say that I am a bit shocked Crayon is still alive right now.

In my opinion as a scum killer Crayon with his knowledge would have been a night 2-4 kill. So with that being said I am unsure how the killers were/are playing it.

In a way I'm pretty bummed with the outcome. Not the winning or losing, moreso with myself, though. I feel as though I played it pretty smart, or at least as smart as I could (last night's action being the only slip-up.. I risked incorrectly targeting myself, in the hopes that the writeup might shine the light in another direction, such as a failed attack on me), but ultimately that also meant playing pretty damn boring.

It's kind of like having a Ferrarri, but not being able to push it beyond 20mph, for fear that the Astil and Waghlon Ferrarri Police are just around the corner, ready to go "OMG DEATHNOTE, LET'S LOOK AT PEOPLE WHO STAY INSIDE".

If I hadn't have worried about that I would have been caught earlier, but I'm also sure I would have given you guys a more interesting game. Ah well.

For the record, tonight, before Astil made the connection he would have been killed if I was jailed. If I was lassoed instead it would have been Integra (I had a hunch that Alucard might go rogue if Integra died, before Pet actually mentioned it)

I won't say I knew you were scum, but if I could get past Jaded and the "urn" /Unholy Artifact deal tripping in my head... Since we couldn't ask Jaded anyway, I figured you'd be the next viable lynch and then go from there, because you were male, claimed to not go out at night early in the game, the desk/worshop deal.

Funnily enough I was practically playing as town right up till the end (Waghlon aside). I agree that it was weird that I wasn't fixed for a Mafia kill, and figuring that I would be a prime candidate either before or after the strong players were killed I decided that it'd be in my best interest to get the scum factions thinned out first.

I also knew SM was the bomb and tried to steer direction from him as best as I could (although that was mainly because he didn't need to die for me to win), which didn't work one iota :P

So yeah, if you get those funny feelings about me in another game, keep in mind that it means I probably am town... unless I'm a SK again :P
