It could work to ways if you a big company like GAMMA fighters who are with small orgs ( when theres contract up) that have a good win or a streak they should email you and maybe ask for employment. Same for the indie scene but maybe after a big win here because there a free agent. Every one knows the big companys like the UFC is were guys want to go. It could be fun because this way you can maybe discover talanet you didn't know about or guys you didn't have an eye on.

Also It would be cool if fighters email you an ideal opponent or someone they want to fight. This way if you have a fighter and your not sure there next match up they could email and also rivalries can develope this way. And if you keep ignore guys, there morale could go down.

I back this idea. I know I personally forget to book some guys because I usually have such a big roster. So if I had guys emailing me every now and then demanding a fight, especially with a specific opponent in mind, that would be cool. As long as it doesn't get too repetitive.

I fully endorse this.

I wouldn't necessarily want it to cause their morale to dip, but I would like to see all fighters have the capabilities of requesting certain opponents, whether they are fighting regularly of infrequently.

Wouldnt every fighter want to face the champ? And wouldnt every fighter who won twice in a row feel they are ready? For example, every fighter in the UFC wants the title, and anyone not in the UFC wants to be there. Emails would add too much clutter. Unless it was built in so they email you when they do deserve it or when they have beaten high enough competition which isnt realistic.

We are talking more about wanting to fight a particular competitor because they are in a similar run of form, personal dislike, or wanting to fight somebody with that skillset. At least that is what I am suggesting. I am not saying it would be easy to implement but it would be a nice touch.

I think Adam could specify what the fighter would want.....I think.

But, anyway, I like this idea.

Real World Example: Yoshihiro Akiyama continually lobbying for a match with Wanderlei...doesn't happen too frequently though...

More examples, the on-going rivalry of Rampage and Evans, or if guys have had 2 fights and it's 1-1, both of them asking for a rubber match.
