Logos and Team File

I have posted a logos zip file and a teams.csv file over on a page for my baseball league.

Put the logos file here:

C:\Program Files\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\images\logos

Then unzip the file.


The teams file has the mascots filled out.

Put that file here:

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010

Vista/W7: C:\Users\Public\Documents\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\

Then unzip the file.


Future updates to the game will save over these files, so I'd suggest you keep the logos zip file in that folder. With the teams, conf, and tourney's csv files, I like to create another folder, copy those into the extra folder. Then all I have to do it copy and paste them over the new files when a new update comes out.

For logos the default path is

C:\Program Files\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\images\logos



For Vista and Windows 7 you'll find the default league files here:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\

Great stuff. I skimmed over the logos and I noticed one error. Washington uses the W logo a lot more than the huskie head. It's even the main logo on their court.

Yeah, the muskrat logo is being phased out. Very few people ever liked that one from what I've seen.

The UMBC logo in the pack is from the early 90's. UMBC is currently planning on switching to a new logo and the information about this can be found here: http://www.umbc.edu/newretrieverlogo/

Just another one to point out. Villanova's logo is a little outdated. They tend to use more of the blue "V" nowadays...

I actually did update Villanova from the 2003 version.

I saw the "V" only logo, I just liked the one with the cat a little bit better for some reason.



I'm hoping to try out my new idea for logos this weekend. I'll post a couple test logos here if I do.

For anyone looking for my logos or files, I'm currently changing and moving some things around with the websites I have.

I'll have logos and my team prestige calculation excel workbook up again by Tuesday.

I also did a prestige calculation file for Grey Dogs College Football game. I'll put the up there as well.

Sorry, I'm also a play tester for the PC Replay Baseball game. They are completely reprogramming that game, so testing for V4 has taken up most of my free time.

I'm waiting for the final RPI rankings to come out to post a new teams.csv file.

I have my own idea of how the conferences should be aligned thou. I don't like the current way. But I suppose it wouldn't be hard to also post a current file.
