Hope you all enjoy this version, the game should be more challenging now, depending on your starting company. UFC, K-1 and Strikeforce are easier to play, and companies like Desafio, White Dragon, WUFC and Shoot Boxing are the toughest to play (gotta be really hardcore to play as these guys!). Shooto, Pancrase and Rings are somewhere in the middle. Keep us informed on how your game is going, love to know how you are all getting on.

For the best experience play with Regenerated Fighters turned off untill the year 2010 and with no Debuting records.

Please dont alter or use our data in anyway and pass if off as your own unless you have asked us for permission.

EXCELLENT mod! Great work, really!

One thing I have noticed - Mark Serkez's best weight is listed as 155, and his highest weight is listed as 170. He's a friend of mine, and he fights at 185 most of the time. Has bulked up to around 200 to fight before.

I'll keep an eye out for the local FL fighters, my job is to cover these guys so hopefully I can provide some help for ya :)

I'm only two events in so far. I'm loving the boxers/kickboxers in the game. Been messing with the tactics to get them fighting a strictly striking style.

I noticed TUF 11 (And Orlando, FL resident :)) contestant Clayton McKinney isn't in the mod, any plans for him in a future release?

Thought I'd post my game info for you too.
Im also playing as UFC, with the same weight classes as Andy, although my cruiser and featherweight brackets 5 lbs different to his :) Current date is November 1994, exactly a year into the game. Champs are:

Heavyweight - Riddick Bowe, with 1 defense (after taking the belt from Ken Shamrock)

Cruiserweight - Michael Gerard Tyson, with 2 defenses, including a win over Cassius Clay!

Light Heavyweight - Bas Rutten, with 2 defenses, and scheduled to face Rickson Gracie in a few weeks

Middleweight - Erik Paulson, with 1 defense. He took the belt from William "Blinky" Rodriguez who beat Benny Urquidez to win it. (Can't tell u how miffed I was about that! Silly Blinky!)

Welterweight - Pedro Sauer, with 2 defenses. One of those was a rematch with gene LeBell, who he took the belt from. Obviously Sauer really is better!

Lighteweight - Vernon Forrest, with 2 defenses. My Lightweight division is my weakest division, and I had lined up Ralph Gracie to steal Vernons belt. Unfortunately he was beaten by Loren Avedon so never got his title shot!

Featherweight - Lee Jun Fan with 1 defense. He is the only guy ever to hold this belt. The reason he hasn't defended it more often is because I forgot to make the featherweight belt, so there wasn't a title to hold for about 3 months!

Womensweight - Kathy Long, with one defense. Took the belt from Diana Inosanto.

Great mod, but the only thing i dont understands is why the rules of the ufc and president of all promotions are modern's we start in 1993 right so it would be Art Davie, Bob Meyrowitz, and Rorian Gracie not ZUFFA anyway it was just to say but great work on that mod

I'm currently in May of 1998, having made the jump from the UFC to PRIDE in October of 97. I'm positively loving the kickboxers, Remy and Cro Cop are two of my favorites in this mod. Cro Cop even captured the UFC HW title from Ken Shamrock just before I left the company, but lost the rematch. Was a little surprised at how ineffective the Gracies were, but all in all, I'm having a blast playing this. Thanks for all your hard work! :)

Ohhh u must have bad potential for the gracies (its random for all fighters to make the game different everytime u play it)! In my game they are mopping everyone up. Renzo is 6-1, just took the belt from Pedro Sauer. Rickson 5-0. Kick boxers are doing badly against them cos they are catching the kicks and taking them down. Glad to see something different happening for you though! I love the kickboxers too, they add a lot to the mod. Keep us informed on how you get on :)

I let the computer sim to the year 2010 twice and all was looking good, me and emmy dropped our old game and started again testing the latest version with a few more tweaks so were only in 1996 at the moment. I think Wade might be able to give you better insight than us at the moment he seems to be heading through the game nicely.

is 1995, im the number 1 promotion once again with Strikeforce, K1 is #2 and thankfully UFC is #3. Last game UFC was #7 or so.

What id like to see. So far i really like the stats I see for the fighters and am happy to see my request for Tyson and Lee in the game +others. I think Lee should have better ground skills because he trained with many ground masters of the time and it was taught by him and other masters at his school.

One thing I did was assign all fighters that are already in the game when it starts to the promotions they belong in and a few other of national fame where it made sense to have them. This really helped with the immersion in the beginning, as fighters like Gracie, Shamrock, Taktarov as an associate and those who actually were in UFC 1 are in the UFC, and Bas Rutten, Funaki, Shamrock etc in Pancrase. Hoost, Aerts, Cikatic in K1, Volk Han and Karelin in Rings, Taktarov in White Dragon as associate. I put the Gracie's, Machado's in Disafio under associate contracts. Ron Tripp so he could have his legendary fight with Rickson before some bigger promotion signs Rickson to an exclusive, even though this fight didnt happen in Disafio.

This helped keep these promotions where they should be, in the top of the fighting promotions and making them fun to check up on as well. Without them being where they should be id buy them all up for my own promotion. Id really like to see this in the next beta. Making fighters Associates even though at the beginning of the game they were not signed with a promotion really helped to push promotions to sign them to exclusive contracts at later date just as they did in real life. Like Ken Shamrock who fought for pacrase and UFC both under associate and naturally UFC as the #3 promotion in my game has signed him to an exclusive contract. Id like to see that done with all the fighters with national fame.

We did lots of tweaks to make the bigger promotions hopefully play better.

Will upgrade Lees ground game.

We tried having people set to companies at the beginning but we found that most of the smaller companies found it alot harder to thrive and when we originally did polls alot of people liked the idea that you build ur roster in a sandbox style. (but if more people are after this as well we can put it in for you all)

I was looking At Bas Ruttens stats and I thought while his submission skills were probably just right for him at his peak they seemed bit high at the beginning of his career, when he was being submitted himself, before he worked up his submission game. Im my mod Bas has 5 subs, 1 tko and 1 ko. Submitting Suzuki in his 1st fight and Funaki in his 7th.

We put K - 1 in because alot of people request it. We have done the rules to the best the game will allow us.

You have some good champs there Nodachi apart from Eugenio Tadeu lol, not sure how he ended up there.

We Made Bas that good because if we made him like he originally started in MMA he would just be a kickboxer with hardly any ground game and in our first tests people really didnt like that. We could knock his sub game down a little more if you want?

Having the potential random seems to be working good though ive had someone e-mail me their stats and they have Bas at 4 - 4 with losses against some very low lvl comp.

It is March of 1996 in my game, and UFC has 10 weight classes. I keep an even amount of fighters in each division to distribute talent as best I can. I sign a ton of fighters and most of the newer talent first fights in a tournament to get their name out there. I go by a formula where most fighters fight 2-3 times a year.

Heavyweight (236-265) Dan Severn (6-0)
Has won his last three by submission over Peter Aerts, Riddick Bowe, and Hans Nijman. The Nijman fight was the final of one of the tournaments and really put Severn on the map. Likely to face Mike Bernardo next. Won the title from Aerts.

Light Heavyweight (206-235) Michael Gerard Tyson (7-0)
Won the first LHW tournament for the title back in '93 and hasn't looked back. Has recent wins over Masaharu Funaki (twice), Oleg Taktarov, and James Douglas (he won this time). Likely to face Duke Roufus next.

He won a tournament late in '94 and has recently taken wins over Gustavo Manzur, Alessandro Pilati, and Dany Bill, the latter two both by TKO. He's likely to face Renzo Gracie next. He won the title from Bill.

Lightweight (146-155) Ramon Dekkers (6-1)
His last two wins have been KOs over Curtis Bush and James Pedro. His only career loss is to Sherman Bergman. Won the title over Pedro. Likely to face Carlos Motta next.

My version of Mike tyson had the same start in his career as yours, but then lost his belt in his fifth attempted defence to funaki!! Obviously my tyson and yours differ greatly somewhere!!

Andy says his Bas is currently on $665,000 to show, double to win. He's 10-0, knocking everyone dead. He wanted to get rid of him but can', so he's stuck crippling himself with high wages. Who is your highest paid fighter, and how much are you paying them?

Long time Total Extreme Wrestling player here. I was debating back in forth last week whether I should upgrade to the new TEW, but then noticed that you released this mod.
Just wanted to tell you that once I saw your mod, I purchased WMMA2 right then. A whole hearted THANK YOU for all the effort and work you put into this mod, it is absolutly great.

As a wrestling fan I love the "surprises", been having fun putting Keiji Mutoh and Jushin Liger in a shoot, where the loser's reward is 5 minutes in the cage with Andre :D

One small correction that I noticed, Kanji Inoki wrestled as Antonio Inoki not Antonio Rocca as stated in his bio.

In November 2002, #1 organization as PRIDE. Just got into a massive bidding war with the UFC for Dan Henderson (14-3, #7 P4P), wound up costing me 900K. I've got PPV deals in every game region, so I'm making millions every show, otherwise I would have just let him walk. I've already lost Wanderlei to K-1 (16-3, #1 P4P), Chuck Liddell (13-3, #5 P4P) and Rich Franklin (10-4, #5 MW) to UFC before I branched into the other markets. Woulda sucked to lose another top fighter.

As a compromise, we could issue a pack, as a seperate download, that will make sure all fighters have faces from the default database. Basically we would rename some of the default pics so they have the same name as the currently faceless pictures. This would make it so that all fighters have pictures. Is this something that would help?

Few things: Not enough fighters with no or white belt in chin(0). Not enough fighters. Every single fighter in the game gets hired! Too many large companies. Too many chiefs, not enough indians.

Thanks for your post. We will look into the chins of the fighters, but anything lower than 50 in the chin stat will make a very weak fighter. There will be more fighters added in the future. We did state when we released the mod that we would need to put more fighters in. We are tweaking fighters as well as adding more. And whilst most fighters in the beginning get picked up, a lot of fighters will come in later that wont get hired. Also, there are many fighters that are not on exclusive contracts, so you can still hire them. A lot of the companies are large because if we made them any smaller they would go bankrupt very quickly, never hiring a fighter and never putting on a show. This was tested extensively and this was the only way it would work. Despite this, companies do fall dramatically and some do go bankrupt, you just have to keep playing. There are 130 companies in the game, they are not all enormous. We will look into the comments you have made though, thanks again for posting

After two straight losses to Grigorian in the Welterweight division, Manzur finally made his way down to the Lightweight division where he has since dominated. Featherweight: Ricardo Mayorga

In my play testing the UFC continually declines now off the top 10 by 98' instead of rising, also when checking the other promotions i find they are very successfull and have huge bank accounts, none of them ever when bankrupt for me. I like to see all the other companiees except UFC have far less starting funds. I also find it to easy to be the top promotion with all the money I get at the start. Id like to see fighters that start active in the game, start in the promotions they actually were in. Its easy enough to sign whoever you want to your own promotion anyway. Maybe they could at least all have standard contracts? This is actually better for players who want Sandbox and Purists like me because, because if they are all free agents at the beginning they cant stop random signing spree from other promotions from signing Fighters they wanted in thier own promotion to exclusive contracts at the start of the game but they can then cherry pick all fighters with standard contracts signing them to exclusives under their banner. While at the same time for purists, the fighters with standard contracts at least develop some loyalty to thier brands.

I never stayed international for long though I think im about to cross over now. I never stacked my cards, I always feature a title fight or two and my fighters fight 5 times a year. I also made a point of not buying up the best fighters, I focus on fighters that actually belong to Strikeforce or fighters on the market that are fighting in promotions they dont belong in.

My highest contract was 84,000. Despite that I rarely will let the title holder go and will meet thier demands. The only one that got away was Ray Mercer because Riddick did surprisingly well, I regret that because maybe Mercer could have done something. I just resigned him and he is still in his prime so Riddick vs Mercer will probably still happen on ShoMMA free tv.

In my game, Mike Bernardo ko'ed Bas Rutten, simply unbelievable. You got some interesting champs. For me Rutten fights for K1, and I am Strikeforce. I have Tyson but he didnt perform well for me he fought my champ Riddick once and lost, because he fights for so many promotions I cant get an exclusive contract with him, same as Bas Rutten. So they are never available or at sufficient win streaks to fight my champs because someone else is usually available who can make a good main event and is also under exclusive contract with me, so if they win Im not put in a ackward situation. thats the problem I have with associate contracts.

We are currently testing the new version, and still updating it at the same time. Only started testing yesterday so no game reports yet, but will let you know. The next release is going to be a while off but will be a biggie.Over 1000 fighters have had their stats edited and we are adding many new fighters including the TUF 11 cast. Will let you know how its playing as soon as we get a few champs in.

The site itself works for me but I can't download either of the files. When I enter the two words it tells you to to download the file, it either takes me right back to that page or I get an error message telling me the site took too long to respond. Why not just use Megaupload? There's a reason almost everyone else uses it.
