Alright, just went through and made a full-thread Vote Analysis..and boy, is it time-consuming. I mean, as if assembling all the votes didn't take enough time, I also had to go through and format the damned thing..I thought coloring the text in WordPad, then using the Alternate Editing Mode to Copy/Paste would be enough, but no such luck..

Anyway..the numbers after the votes are the order in which the votes got on. For people that jumped on and off bandwagons, this number can get a little confusing, but that didn't happen too much, so it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully, this will help us find our next direction..

I'm thinking we have between 5 at the last, and 8 at the most, scum. 8 is a stretch that I can only see if the scum teams are weak.

Now.

If Cancer was recruiting, which, due to the nature of the disease, you'd think it would be (though there doesn't seem to be evidence in the right ups, though I admit I stopped reading them in depth because I've been reading them on my phones) then these numbers could be skewed. But like I said, it really doesn't look like there has been.

However, if Cancer IS a cult, then we'd likely have an indy on our hands as well.

As for who's scum of who's left?

I'm really, really feeling Destiny as scum. I can't really give you any reason, I just, really feel it.

Arrows obviously really stands out because he's been so silent. But I feel like there's more to that, because he's a smarter player than that. However, I'm torn between "it's been days and he hasn't been replaced!" And.. "give him a chance to come on."

I kinda skimmed it but I do believe that Zeel thinks I am the left testicle (which I am) but doesn't know how the double-vote ability would work with the left testicle. It only works because I carry a special person around with me and such one vote from me counts as two.

Instead of looking at negatives, we should perhaps look at the positives, one of them being that the scum may not have a kill tonight.

Personally, I don't think there are any negatives, a dead red is good for me, nothing negative about it.

When we run out of big options is when we start lynching inactives, because it's a gamble. They could be scum or town, and they're not around to answer questions, so you kind of just have to eliminate them one by one when there's nothing else to go on.

Well, that's kind of a double edged sword, because as they're inactive they're not adding their vote or (possibly) using their ability, so all they're really doing is padding the town's numbers, which, of course, is definitely important, but at the same time, not as important as if you mislynch an active townie.

I'm not scum. I am aware that both yourself and Jman2k3 think I am scum, and I am perplexed as to Jman2k3's actions.

Personally I think we got lucky and cancer was eradicated before they had a chance to recruit (assuming cancer was a cult), think about it, after all the deaths we've had there's only one cancer aligned in the graveyard. You'd think there'd be at least one or two more in the graveyard by now.

Beep beep beep beep…

Another day and another step towards Jack’s eventual recovery with the removal of another threat. Sleeping comfortably with his various machines helping to execute whatever functions his body may or may not currently be capable of performing themselves… well, Jack seems almost at peace with himself. Sitting by his bedside is his ever present nurse, making sure he feels comfortable. Upping his medication … singing him lullabies… slowly removing her clothing… uh-oh.

Nurse: “Jack… what a manly name. I bet out there in the real world you have your pick of the ladies. You know, I get real lonely in here at nights, Jack. I’ve tried spending time with the doctors but they barely even notice me. I bet you notice me, Jack. I’ve heard that coma patients can still hear things going on around them. I can tell you like me, Jack.”

The nurse lunges at Jack and immediately get tangledup in the many wires and tubes leading in and out of Jack. The machines go haywire and the nurse starts to panic as the various other doctors quickly try to scramble to find out what is wrong.

Doctor: “Nurse, what happened?”

Nurse: “I don’t know Doctor. One moment he was fine… so fine… and the next all the machines were going crazy.”

Doctor: “Damnit, we’d better get this man back into the operating room. What else could possibly be killing this man?!”

Sometime later...

Unzipped and once again exposed to the world, Jack is lifted up to the correct height as the medical staff keep watch on his vitals. The nurse watches on from a safe distance as yet more re-runs of Baywatch entertain the ambulance team during the duller moments when watching a human being’s insides on a giant plasma screen just aren’t as enteraining as boobs…

Doctor: “I just don’t get what is wrong with him. I mean… things obviously aren’t right but this is like a someone has taken two jigsaws and mixed the pieces up so that we don’t know what belongs where. Nothing is wired up the way the schematic says it should be and I’ve looked at it in every way possible.”

From within Jack's open chest cavity comes the vague scent of sulphur.

Jack's right testicle hurtles out of his groin, narrowly missing Dr Acula who dodges to avoid the projectile and instead hits the Nurse in the back of the head, staggering her. As the Nurse catches her balance and turns back towards Jack, his left testicle follows suit, exploding out of Jack's groin and hitting her in the forehead, knocking her unconscious.

The Doctor turns towards Dr Acula.

Doctor: "Holy flying testicles, Batman."

Dr Acula: "Well that was unexpected."

After the excitement of the flying testicles, Jack's condition once again appears to stabilise. As Jack is wheeled out and returned to his room, the Nurse finally regains consciousness and pulls herself to her knees. As her vision clears she finds Jack's two ex-testicles rolling around on the floor. She picks up one in each hand, clutching them in her fists and turns her head skywards.

Nurse: "KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!"

I think Roleblocking only works with abilities that you send in. Otherwise, a mafia could use that to take down someone that's Bulletproof with very little difficulty.

One early thing I disliked about Destiny is how he pretty much gave up the bomb thing far too early. A town bomb, looking to be town leader, should be much more vague about hinting towards it. They should, to a degree, want the scum to try and kill them. Going one-for-one with them is always a win for the town, after all, and he made it fairly obvious without that much pressure.

A scum bomb, on the other hand, would be much more willing to say so. It makes them much less likely to be lynched obviously, and as well as this, avoids the danger of being vig'd, or hit by another scum team..

It's really too bad MH died. If he had just lived for one more day, he would've been a great test for this. He really shouldn't have revealed his ability after the Kobe lynch..

Anyway, hopefully Destiny was simply bluffing about being a bomb, and you don't have to go down. Fairly certain he's scum at this point though, as it really does sound like he's a Gallbanger-esque infected bodypart. There's also a chance this will lead to endgame if he's scum - if only because Destiny talked about how he thought their were multiple scum left a little earlier, and plus I've pretty good reasons to trust just about everyone left, aside from Destiny and Arrows.

And if this doesn't lead to endgame, then, well, we know where to go next..

Day 8

Another day in the hospital and Jack is still lying comatose in the hospital. More than a week and while he is not dead, he has not yet shown signs of recovery yet despite any number of “cures”. The steady beeping of the various monitors and the awes…. ful acting of the Baywatch stars accompany Jack’s continued existence as another patient is wheeled past Jack’s room, disturbing the distraught nurse as she watches over Jack.

Nurse: “Doctors, what’s wrong with this… Derek B?”

Random Doctor: “We’re taking him to the burn unit, someone really got him with a good one! Move move move!”

Beeeep beeep beeep beeeep beeeep beeeeeeeep…..

Nurse: “Jack? Jack?! What’s wrong?! We need a doct… urk!”

Before she can even get help for Jack as his various machines warn of something probably bad happening to him, he unzips and something flies out, ricocheting off walls, machines and the nurse’s head before eventually landing on the floor and rolling around. A doctor rushes in to see the floor organ just as it comes to a stop with a strange noise that sounds suspiciously like…

“MWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!”

Doctor: “That looks like a lung to me… but what’s that attached to i… oh crap!”

BOOM!!!

The doctor dives out of the room action hero style as the inflamed appendix explodes with all it’s force, sending various coloured goo bits in every direction and obliteraing the lung it was attached to in the process.

Dr Acula: “I heard ze noise, I came as fast as I could.”

Doctor: “Dr Acula, can we give this man IV oxygen?”

Dr Acula: “Not if you want him to live, Doctor”

There is a long pause while the doctor thinks…

Doctor: “Then we’d better act fast. You see those pink bits all over the walls? They’re mostly his last lung. We better get some balloons him in fast… NOT helium ones, this guy needs oxygen, stat!”

And so begins another long night for Jack as he is once again rushed to the operating room…

Probably used to Twlight posts by me, but if I chose right, this may be the last one from me this game - depends on how many Mafia players you think are left. I think we may be down to our last, myself.

So I roleblocked Arrows tonight. If we are down to one Mafia player, then surely he has a kill. If we go killess tonight, we'll know to do. However, if I die tonight, then that may actually clear Arrows to degree..depending on whether or not you think we're down to one left. Just thought I'd say that, in the event that this happens.

We join Jack in the operating room as he finishes getting his lungs replaced with a highly experimental treatment…

Doctor: “Be careful that you don’t overinflate those balloons, he needs those so that his cranberry juice has enough oxygen in him to keep alive. From now on, he’s going to need to keep getting those bad boys inflated on a regular basis in order for him to live.”

Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep….

Dr Acula: “Zis is very unusual… but Jack’s vitals zeem to be holding steady, Doctor. Ze patient remains alive, theoretically walking with the living. Neither dead nor… undead.”

Doctor: “Thanks for that summary of the patient’s condition. Let’s just zip him up and get him upstairs. This coma has to break eventually.”

Sometime later in the ward…

With Jack safely zipped up and returned to the ward to recover, the Nurse stands watch over him to make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid overnight. Like… die.

Nurse: “Jack? Jack? What’s wrong, Jack?! Someone get a doctor.”

As the Nurse starts to panic about the condition of Jack, the machines once again return to normal, with Jack resuming the restful sleep of someone who might not ever get the chance to wake up if he doesn’t end up cured.

Doctor: “Nurse, what’s wrong?”

Nurse: “Uh… nothing now, Doctor. The machines went haywire but now they’ve stopped.”

Doctor: “Very well. This man is cured, he just needs some good solid bed rest. And now, I’ve got to go meet Betsy.”

Nurse: “The oinkologist?”

Doctor: “Indeed. I’m having her over for lunch.”

Nurse: “Isn’t that a bit weird?”

Doctor: “Not really, I done the same thing to her sister. Keep an eye on Jack while I’m out.”

So then, why is the write-up the way it is? If it was just meant to explain that the don was dead, and the mafia couldn't kill tonight, wouldn't it be a much more peaceful night for Jack? There shouldn't be any alarms or causes for worry, it should make it seem like the threat is finally over, or something to that effect. Instead, it reads the same way it did when Banger was stopped. Jack starts to get "attacked", only for it to suddenly stop, with no damage done.

Also...I targeted pet last night. My list came back basically as "inconclusive," which leads me to think that Michigan was killed and Pet just suffered the aftermath. I know Arrows wouldn't attack Pet unless he had to (kind of the same with me regarding MLT). I'm satisfied with where my vote is.

Day 9

Gathered around Jack is a huge number of people… doctors, student doctors, nurses, surgeons, paramedics, the guy who fills the vending machine, some janitors, some guy called Derek B, a blonde Australian guy, some red haired girls, people in all kinds of suits, a clown, 2 monkeys and a local sports team (go team!). They all seem concerned about Jack as he lies there in his coma, unmoving, unblinking… and unable to do much given his general state.

Doctor: “Despite everything we’ve done for this man we’ve been unable to work out what is keeping him in a coma. So when I count to three, I want you all to make as much noise as possible and hope that that is enough to wake him up. Ready? One… two….”

Beep beep beep beep beep beepbeeeep BeepBeep….

Nurse: “Wait, there’s something wrong. The machines are beeping in irregular patterns again. And the machine that prints out his heart rate is using capital letters and leaving out spaces.”

Doctor: “Damnit, I’m not going to let this man die today. Someone get me a wrench… and some plyers! And a sledgehammer!”

A team of janitors step forward with the required implements and hands them to Dr Acula and the Nurse, who in turn passes them on to the Doctor who unzips Jack and has a look inside. After a few moments snooping around and making sure not to pop Jack’s balloons… and then, he comes to a startling revelation.

Doctor: “I’ve come to a startling revelation!”

Nurse: “Do you know what’s killing this man, doctor?”

Doctor: “I know exactly what it is. Pass me the barbeque tongs, I’m going in!”

The doctor pops open Jack’s mouth, takes one quick look and then dives in with the tongs. The machines continue to go wild as the doctor tries to get a hold of something and the masses of people in the room take a collective step back and a deep breath as they watch the heights of modern medicine being applied in the most impressive ways possible. With a big flourish and a small spray of blood, the doctor pulls out the tongs, accidentally catching the Nurse with a stray elbow before holding up the victim… um, yeah, victim in the air for all to see.

Doctor: “Behold, this is what has been killing this man. I officially diagnose this man with…. TONSILITIS!!”

Dr Acula: “Tonsilitis?”

Doctor: “TONSILITIS!”

Students: “Tonsilitis?”

Doctor: “TONSILITIS!”

Surgeon: “Tonsilitis?”

Doctor: “TONSILITIS!”

Vending Machine Guy: “Tonsilitis?”

Doctor: “TONSILITIS!”

Local Sports Team: “Tonsilitis?”

Doctor: “TONSILITIS! Enough of this! This man is CURED!”
