Alright, so we have Booker and Wrestler sims already on the market... What's the next natural progression?
Referee Sim?
Eh... maybe if you like playing as Scrappy McGowen and giving the slow count.
Announcer Sim?
Calling matches with the youthful excitement of Tony Schivone? Bonus points for remember the moves! Unless you could get David Crockett on-board, this idea isn't the greatest.
Road Agent Sim?
Sit backstage and tell the kids about "the old days"? Maybe if the sim had "rookie hazing"...
No, of course the next progression is the "Wrestling Manager" sim. I know what you're thinking... "All the manager does is walk down to ringside and interfer." But this is Kayfabe, my boy!
My first natural thought was "We need a Sports Agent sim... but for wrasslin'." But what's a Wrasslin' Agent in Kayfabe terms? The Manager!
Imagine a game where you as a young upcoming manager starting out at the bottom rung of the industry, trying to sign a young free agent to your "stable", in hopes of getting him work on one of the many regional circuits or a steady gig with one of the promotions.
All this and more... as we continue to add to the idea. More to hopefully come.
