Okay not sure how to use this ... from reading the manual it would appear that I put this in the datafiles folder but I don't have a datafiles folder within the game folder

The folder is in the section with the saved games. Go to the tools menu and choose player files then click open folder. The game will take you to the correct folder.

Man I am lost I don't even have a saved games folder within my game folder

nevermind I found it ... it wasn't in my documents but in "shared documents" instead
