UFC is very excited to announce it's alternative to The Ultimate Fighter. Instead of holding a series of television shows, UFC will now test the fighter's will power and have them fight in a tournament, winner will get a 6 Figure contract.
There are two weight class tournaments, our first weight classes and fighters are...
Lightweights:
Tony Hervey
Richie Whitson
Gunnar Nelson
Danny Martinez
Middleweights:
Dan Cramer
Tamdan McCrory
Ralek Gracie
Gregor Gracie
There will be two tournaments on two seperate days. First tournament will be of the Lightweights and then one month later will be the Middleweights tournament. We are also talking into consideration about the idea of a Monthly Ultimate Tournament!
Hope the fans enjoy this message and look forward to seeing you for UFC 114 which will be posted tomorrow!

If Ralek and Gregor are listed as blood relatives then you're going to be in trouble, mate. I'd advise getting hold of a backup fighter in case they refuse to fight.

I've got a couple back-ups incase they decide to not fight.. or if there is an injury.

Antonio "Minotoro" Rogerio Nogueira vs. Jason Brilz

WINNER: Todd Duffee via Rear Naked Choke Submission in 4:13 of Round 1(Great)
HEADLINE
Michael "The Count" Bisping vs. Dan Miller
We're under way! They circle the octagon for a little while throwing some jabs in the air, Bisping shoots for a takedown and gets Miller to the ground. Miller forces some separation between the two but it's a bad idea as Bisping is able to pull side control from it. He easily then secures the mount position and pounds away with punches from above but they don't cause too much damage. Miller attempts to a sweep from the bottom but Bisping is able to control it and get Miller's back. He goes for a Rear Naked Choke and locks it in. Miller taps out!
WINNER: Michael "The Count" Bisping via Rear Naked Choke Submission in 3:15 of Round 1(Great)

Evans uses the jab.

He does excellently, getting past the guard and into side control.

Rampage looks to get a mount.
He can't get the mount as Evans rolls away to stop it, but does take his back instead.

It's on TV .. that's why I've been contemplating it so much, I know they won't draw but I know it's a TV show and shouldn't really have Prelims..
I think what I'm going to do is make the finals Main, Hamill & Jardine Co-Main, Lebens fight third, then put the spencer fisher fight, then the McSweeney/Mitrione fight, then the Semi Finals.. of course I'll be doing this when I get home pretty late tonight..
Show results will probably be up Monday.

:SEMI-FINALS:
Richie Whitson vs. Danny Martinez
In what seemed to be your most average match, these two men seemed like neither really wanted to be in the UFC, they both landed punches, they both took punches, it was a very boring fight to say the least. Richie managed to come out on top to take the Unanimous Decision.
WINNER: Richie Whitson via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3(Average)
:SEMI-FINALS:
Tony "Lionheart" Hervey vs. Gunnar Nelson
The match starts out with Hervey closing in on Nelson, he scores a few big jabs, Nelson shoots in for a takedown and lands a few good punches and moves into side mount before sinking in an Arm Bar.
WINNER: Gunnar Nelson via Arm Bar Submission in 4:41 of Round 1(Great)
:UNDERCARD:
Spencer "The King" Fisher vs. Dennis Siver
The fight starts and Fisher is all over Siver at the beginning of this one. He does a good job scoring points. Round 2 comes and Fisher stays at the same pace. Scores more and more points in the second round. The third round comes and Fisher looks undeniable. He keeps control for the match.
WINNER: Spencer "The King" Fisher via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3(Average)
Chris "The Crippler" Leben vs. "A-Train" Aaron Simpson
Very early in this match Simpson took control and backed Leben into the cage. But Leben is smart and waits for Simpson to go for some Dirty Boxing, and when he does Leben turns the tides! Leben lands a couple puches after getting seperation and he misses a couple more. Round 1 comes to an end, hard to call who took that one. Round 2 comes, and this time, Leben isn't messing around, he runs in and just pulls off a barrage of punches on a defenseless Simpson the ref stops the match.
WINNER: Chris "The Crippler" Leben via TKO in 0:21 of Round 2(Good)
:CO-MAIN EVENT:
Matt "The Hammer" Hamill vs. "The Dean of Mean" Keith Jardine
This match was probably the worst of the card so far, Jardine looked just god awful in this one. It went the distance and Hamill took the Decision.
WINNER: Matt "The Hammer" Hamill via Unanimous Decision in 5:00 of Round 3(Very Poor)
