So me and a friend (Chris) have been playing a 2 player game using the DOTT scenerio for a while now. We decided to play a 3-player game and include another friend (Dom) and play the 97 scenerio. We did a draft and changed our rosters around using the editor. When we start the game it says the database is working fine.

1. Dom takes his turn and advances, sends file to me via email
2. I put the file in my save games, take my turn and advance
3. Chris gets the file from me via email, takes his turn and advances

When we look at the game on Chris' computer it shows that it is now Dom's turn.

When we look at the game on Dom's computer, it still shows that it is Chris' turn.

We have restarted the game, changed the order of turns and we still have the same problem with Chris' turns every time.

Hopefully the way I've described this makes sense. The thing that staggers me is Chris and I can send the DOTT save files back and forth with no issues.

Does anyone have any idea of how to resolve this?

No idea how to solve this, but interestingly enough, this exact same thing has happened this past week with myself and JudgeJuryExecutioner, in TEW2010. Quite baffling.

Dom and I have had the problem with a 2 player game. We found that renaming (what I call) the game folder (gds/tew/data/senario/savegames/[game folder]) would usually solve it. The renamed game folder then shows up in game as well as the un-renamed folder even though it no longer exists (or so it seems).

However, this hasn't been the case for the 3 player game.

Also, i'm running windows 7, which I think is at least part of the problem.

It's bizzare because the data is obviously there somewhere - when Chris opens the file it showing it's the next players turn. But that data doesn't seem to be included in the save files he's sending... however when myself or Dom zip our save files all the data is there.

It sounds confusing because it is! Very frustrating.
