Hi I just wanted to know your opinions on how you choose your wrestlers and any tips and tricks on how to get A* shows.

it depends on your promotion. For example, if you are running a SE promotion, most likey great angles and even better matches. But getting an A* show shouldn't be your goal. What you should do is build your promotion up with solid storylines, solid matches. Even if you don't get A* matches, the real goal is to improve your promotion. This will result to better rated shows and that A* show will come evenutally.

As far as workers go, again it depends on your promotion. For examle, when you play as a Pure promotion, try to aim for guys that are great wrestlers. Now mic skills and charisma don't matter in these promotions simply because a Pure style is strictly about wrestling. So don't hire guys like Giant Rewood to a Pure promotion.

He made some good points. It does all depend on the promotion and the talent you have. Some really low promotions (like NYCW) you can hope for C shows at the highest, while NOTB can be easy. I play the Death of the Territories Mod and play the old WWF. It is easy to get A* shows, though not constantly. When you get good mic work people or skit people who can put on a good performance, that can even out C matches. I guess the key is to find two great workers and let them go at it for a long feud and build around that.
