After what has been an un-easy day on the GDS boards littered with ill will, i decided to focus on the positive. So lets hear it, out of all the features anounced which has been your fave so far?

For me it is a close call but i love the new fatigue idea and the new owner goals, i also really love that user-characters are back.

Just about every new update, they're all great. But hmm.. I really like that everything is more deeper and accurate now.. Just like people's personalities. Now it doensn't mean that they'll just want to be upper on the card, and especially the new owner personality thing will really get the Cornellverse feel much more realistic. Also, the new fatique thing is more realistic, nice feature. And and, possible third brand split is nice, for someone, I really hate playing with international/global fed's, too much to do. Also, the game is much much more difficult than TEW2005 used to be. I mean, in 05', I never lost a single game. Always completed every owner goal etc.. My games always ended with me getting bored, and lost interest.. Like when I got my MAW to National. All the fun stopped there :/ but yeah, on-topic, there's much more features coming up!! And I'm sure the game will end up being one of the greatest wrestling games ever.

I'm lovin' the user character as well. I dont like to edit the C-Verse, I likes to play it as it was intend, but I have no problem creating an uber character with amazing skills in all areas especially looks, built after my own imagine obviously.

But the loans is probably the feature I will want to try out most, Vessey vs Cornell? Stones vs DeColts? Kunomasu vs Kudo? Awesome.

Product, hands down. Being able to truly create a women's cutting edge fed is
going to be HUGE for me.

I've been sold since the Product feature where I can make my own custom promotion style. The player character and everything else has just been gravy.

mine is the new pre show booking, and being able to assign more matches instead of 4 or 5... so if I want a 3 vs 3, I can do it... I also love that you can delete an already book match....

I dont care much about the Japanese wrestling scene, so those few update haven't been so great for me, but pretty much everything else is amazing especially the internet

By far the full title history. Easily. Maybe because it's something I've always wanted ever since I first played EWR. It's purely cosmetic, I know, but it's a HUGE thing for me to actually have Triple H as a 10-time Champion instead of a 1-time. But then again, I've loved every single update so far. A geographical breakdown of Japan really doesn't add anything to my WWF 1997-2002 games, but I have nothing against that, either. Gah, can't wait for the game. :)

I like them all but my favs would have to be the Product one I think it will be great and give each fed it's own unique fell to it. I also love bringing back the user chaecter I always use it in 04 I put myself as an Authoiry Figure most of the time I think it really helped havein a user chaecter when you were a small fed.

Yeah for me definately the product sliders that's gonna be great. I actually like all the chances to the Japanese area of the game because now playing in Japan will be differnt than playing anywhere else and it'll make the Japanese feds more than just the same thing as the US fed except with Japanese workers.

Oh yeah, the "Product" style, almost forgot that one. I think that is the single best new feature. Can't wait to create my own style, and live with it. I mean, can I live to it's expectations, and satisfy the crowd. And yeah, the fan reaction thing is a very good update also. :) Damn those fans if they boo to those that I'm pushing :D

The user character has been the biggest so far for me, but those of us who don't play Japan haven't had much of anything revolutionary...

i like several things actually. the product sliders, user character, and prematch bookings (and delete for any errors) are my three favorites.

i really like the title lineage and the ability to unify titles after a buy out.

all in all, this is shaping up to be the best ever. honestly, adam could have milked it and only added half of this stuff and saved the rest for a couple years down the road. i'm glad he didn't though, this will be an epic masterpiece. greatness.....

Unless I'm mistaken everything that happens in Japan, young boys and loans and so forth, is available around the entire world, if they want to use the features, so they wont be missing out.

Product, hands down. Being able to truly create a women's cutting edge fed is going to be HUGE for me.

Oooh yeah, being able to create a 100% pure women's promotion will also be awesome.

I'm no modder, but I'm glad scenarios are going to be more authentic this time around. Not that any of my favorites were totally inaccurate, but with the added level of detail it seems that mods are really the wave of the future on this one. But, if I had to pick a feature that has got me really geared up, it would be...the upgrades given to the titles, with title belt prestige and a full lineage for each belt. I always thought the success of a promotion related to the perceived value of its world title, so this is a great recreation of that. I'm also looking forward to the fatigue stat, as the days of having Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody go an hour broadway all over the country 3 nights a week in the DOTT games. I might actually have to use my brain.

Like many others apparently, I'm really looking forward to the Product feature, being able to create my own promotional style is something I've always wanted to do in TEW.

I'm also pretty keen on the new Japanese features, as they look pretty interesting to me.

Otaku? :( i dont even know what that means!

"Otaku is a Japanese pejorative term used to refer to a variety of geek, fanboy or fangirl, particularly one obsessed with such hobbies as anime and manga. When applied to a person, the word generally has negative connotations which it has yet to completely shake, though it can have either positive or negative connotations depending on the situation and the person using the term."

I like every thing, this might not be my favorite but it's the thing popping in my head now.. The Loyalty feature, I'm always some created Indy Japanese promotion and it will be great to have my 3 starting workers completely loyal. :)

I'm a modder, so the changes to popularity sliders and the Quick Worker Creation are so, so, so hot.

In terms of playing, I'm also loving the return of the promotional buyout, and the internet!

The Product feature and Title Prestige.

I'm not too fussed about the Japanese style features as I'm normally American feds but something I really felt was missing from TEW2005 was the Title Prestige as now it matters how holds your company's title belts, how long they hold them for, and how good the matches are.

With the old system it didn't really matter if you was like Vince Russo after too many Lucozades and start swopping the belts at every other Nitro. :D

I really can't wait for TEW2007 it looks to me (after reading Adam's journal on the new game) that it's going to be more realistic, harder and just generally a much much better game - even though I still think TEW2005 is awesome.

Anyway could someone just answer a newbie question for me without me having to start a new thread?

When is the TEW2007 demo and full game due to be released?

I know the full retail version was due out in December but i was just wondering what actual date has been planned for release and whether or not it had been delayed.

no official release dat has been anounced as yet, GDS generally keep release details sketchy until they know they can definatly hit a deadline.

Sorry Panix. I read it on the fly, when I was running late from going to see the missus :P
Then I forgot about it...

It will more then likely be a go, but I will be releasing more information about those kind of things when I release my first 07 data.

you are a bit of a ledge Lukie and the only reason im holding back from kissing you is that i seem to remember you had a girlfriend! Oh yeah, my missus might not like it either. Anyway we can talk things through nearer the time.

I think most of these features kick ass and i dont think there is a bad feature or potential bad feature been announced yet, although i have faith but touch wood - however i think my favorite features thats got me the most excited about the new game are:

the new internet
the new product customisation
promotional buyouts
3 brand slots
--and the possible (and for me, probable) altercations and show of respect between myself and the vocal fanbases, (does Batista, Orton or Cena at ECW ring any bells ?)

To me its all the things Adam has announced in his diary that will make TEW evolve to what I think is a whole new level. There has not been one feature announced where I thought that its unneeded/wrong, it all ties together. Plus, I'd like to especially mention something .. that is GDS acknowledging the fact that not everyone has a credit card, making TEW 2007 available for purchase via paypal. Props for that too (credit where credit is due ^^).

I think the loaning talent feature is tremendous, and I'm really hyped that the buyouts are back in. The fact that you can have the other guy's titles is just icing on the cake - seems custom built for ready made invasion angles.
