HURRAH I BEAT YOU ALL TO IT!

I like the feature, makes it good to see wrestlers develop over time and such. Good addition.

A good idea, hopefully in 07 I will play longer games, I tend to play and then want to start a new one so its quite rare that I get past a year :o.

Man, Adam should join the World Poker Tour. He's pulling full houses and royal flushes out of thin air!

if he was still doing Friday features - this could have been one of them, i love to see the game world evolve and develop and this coupled with the scan that makes sure there is always enough staff in the game will really help that. If i was wearing one i would take my hat off to you Adam.

Eh I am not too fond of this. Im not against this or for it. To me it doesn't really matter. Im glad you guys like it though so Adam you get props for making these fine people happy.

An interesting feature to be sure.

The idea that wrestlers change their style over the course of a year is an amazing step forward, however I'm worried about the potential impact on mods. For instance, in 1993, Chris Benoit was a Super Junior and his stats would reflect that. I'm just worried that because of his low entertainment (Mic) skills he would never be picked up by any of the bigger North American companies. But to be honest that's a minor gripe.

Nope I'm on board with this one on a big scale, should make the game suitably more challenging.

A great and much-needed feature. Thumbs up.

This is a great feature and adds even more realism to the game. Austin was once a talented technician but he evolved into more of a brawler as time went on and plenty of high fliers change into technicians and the like after they are grounded by injury. Now I don't know if injuries will affect a worker's evolution but I still like the idea that, through selective booking, you can perhaps train some people to be a better fit in your roster.

This is a great feature. Now I can develop an army of spot monkeys to rule the world.

Well, this was much needed. Glad to know that I can build a star from a brawler and try to make him more of a complete wrestler. I always liked trying to do that.

Awesome new's! I like doing things like that too Dorian. I will make worker's with one GREAT Stat, although different from the other one, and watch them grow in it overtime.

Cool, thanks for adding this feature. It's kind of of funny, the original premise of my topic was incorrect, but it eventually evolved into talking about this feature. I figured you were already adding this feature; it's cool that you released the info now. Thanks.

Beyond the advantages I posted about it before, there are two I didn't think about, the fun of training wrestlers into different styles, and that it will auto-fix wrestlers that modders gave the wrong style. Not that they would ever do that or anything. :D

Or fix mistakes I make on the worker's I make myself, lol:-)

How will this affect big men? For example could Kevin Nash become a spot monkey? I mean in real life that just couldn't happen.

For me there would have to be alot of restrictions on this for me to like it. I'm thinking we're going to see guys like Big Show turn into cruiserweight style after having alot matches with Rey Mysterio or The Rock turn into a Hardcore wrestler, or The Sandman turn into a Technical wrestler. I think there should be caps on wrestlers potenial abilty in certain kinds of wrestling, because clearly a guy like Big Show will never have 100% flying abilty, or even 20% flying ability. I just think if this isn't implemented carefully we could see a few weird changes that wouldn't make sense in the real world.

That problem would easily be fixed by allowing modders to choose potential, but I'm not sure if Adam can or wants to allow that. There probably already is something in place to fix that problem though, but are you sure you don't want to see a spot monkey Big Show? :)

I love have control over my characters styles... So if i want to turn someone into a hardcore legend I can... very nice, I'll make J.Rod into the meanest brawler around :D

Haha, that was good one, being a top poker player myself. No, just kidding, amateur. :o

Change in itself is going to be gradual, same as in 05 - But there's nothing to stop Big Show becoming a Spot Monkey, other than needing to lose enough weight that he can pull off the crazy moves (for a big man) that he was doing in WCW ten years ago. If he worked his ass off for a long period of time, cut out the junk food, trained and trained and trained... Big Show could be a Spot Monkey.

But more likely, you'll see the shifts occur between close styles. Spot Monkeys with improving Psychology may become Cruisers. Luchadores who learn to wield a chair could become Entertainers. And so on...

Well I think monkey suits him kind of... However, I see your point.

I want this though, and I am pretty sure that it will have limitations on someone called a Giant, etc....

However, Kane is a pretty big guy, and he flies around sometimes. I believe Big Show (if his weight didn't mess the ropes up) should be able to do whatever he practices, and tries to do. Maybe not up to cruiserweight standards, but definately a splash of the ropes, or a clothesline etc.

Just seem's like a good thing, and a win win to me is all. I'm sure you can still change it for whatever you want them to be, but let them develop. Maybe Kevin Nash get's good at jumping off the ropes, it would be good if he got good at anything IMO.

No, big guys wont' be able to become high fliers because there are still skill caps on skills, just like there are still overness caps.

the most big show ever did. a standing dropkick, 2nd rope dropkick, top rope dropkick, and one of the sweetest frog splashes i've ever seen this side of rvd and eddie.

but he only did the frog splash once to my knowledge. all of this was wcw days, but very rare then.

Awesome. I seen a match not all that long ago, before ECW. Was Big Show vs. Kane, and he did a couple of things that was just amazing for his size. He looked like he was having alot of fun in there as well. They hit knuckle's a couple of times, out of respect. This was around the time Kane's movie come out. He didn't do any high flying, but was stuff like a toe trip (Dont remember the true name of that move), that tripped Kane right into the turnbuckle, baseball slides, and some mat moves I am not used to seeing him do, especially since he went to ECW.

You're talking about that awful match that he had with Kane where he tried to be a technician then Kane's alternate ego took over and Kane hit him with a chair a bunch of times at the end. It was AWFUL.

The big show did a roll through on an arm wringer and then did the smack to the back of Kane's legs to knock him down. That's all that I remember, but the whole match was that way. It was AWFUL. I wanted to throw up.

Yeah, I think that's the one. I liked that match, when comparing it to anything since that Big Show has done. I thought he done the moves pretty good as well.

But then I am one to root for Rey Mysterio to beat Mark Henry or someone like The Great Khali as well. I like to see silly things like Carlito spitting apple piece's on Randy Orton. Asking Trish while raising his hand like Randy "What the hell is this?"

I root for Triple H to get out that sledge hammer every match he has, no matter if he needs it or not. I like to see King Booker looking like he is about to cry while hearing William Regal shout "All Hail King BOOKER!!" because he is soooo Touched about being "The King". I like to see John Cena beat much more talented star's, just cuz he is John Cena. I like to see Edge cheat his way to victory.... and I really like to see a big guy like Big Show do something you don't ussually see anyone weighing more then a Light Heavyweight doing (Like Carlito, or some cruiserweight).

I like Sports Entertainment. This in no way means that I don't appreciate a good solid match either. Just means since I know every single wrestling promotion I can see on TV is fake, I want to be entertained while they are faking me out. That match did that for me.

Hooray for people who can allow themselves to be entertained! :)
