New Bowl tie-ins?

Did anybody do a mod to reflect the new "real" bowl tie-ins? For example, I know the Big East isn't associated with Insight Bowl anymore. I was just hoping that one of you more technical types would have done this with bowl season imminent. A guy can hope, right? :D

I dont know if there is a mod for what you're looking for. If you search around these forums you can find some info on how to edit the bowl game bids yourself. its not too hard once you figure out how to edit things.

Are you a Pitt Panthers fan (reference to your username)? If so, it sucks the football team lost 5 straight, but the basketball team is 9-0 and probably the best it has ever been. I'm hoping for a UCLA/Pitt matchup for the Championship.

Thanks for the commiseration on the lousy end to the football season. Yeah, we're pretty good right now in hoops, but as a Panther fan, I've learned to hold my breath...we tend to always make some major screwup along the line. I'm rooting for a Pitt/UCLA final too. Howland vs. his protege Dixon would be awesome.

I did do one, it had to modified a little though as the Sun Bowl for example can take a Big 12 team or Big East team so I had to make a choice there and I eliminated any 7th or lower conference team from a bowl to just any eligible team as I saw too many 5-6 teams in a bowl game.

My guess is they would in the next version, but I wouldnt expect this type of update between versions.

Did anybody ever complete the bowl updates? I tried, but must have done something wrong (I kept getting crashes). I would think the company would update the bowl file, as every time I had a problem with crashes and RTE, they always suggested that it was a problem with the unofficial file.


I was hoping Arlie would have responded by now, but maybe he will respond soon.

I used it from a new dynasty haven't tried it in an "in progress one"

I tried your file with an in progress dynasty. I had to add the "Bowl" update to that save, but it worked fine.

Did you try adding the championship game as a 5th BCS Bowl game? I tried doing that earlier with my own file, and it kept crashing.

I really appreciate the work you did.
