Ok, I know that it may be sounding like I am saying that I hate bush for giving me NO date to expect them back home. I am NOT saying that. Just the problem with this "they will not leave till I am out" says to me, and some americans that We are taking our sweet ass time over there and not training them. I would much rather have a shot for date that would Kill Prez Bush if he didnt start bringing them back by then; I would rather have that then a prez who doesnt even shoot for a date.

Wars should be open ended. Why? You're inviting the enemy to wait until the troops are out to strike again. If you come out and say, "We are withdrawing troops in X amount of months/years", it would be a disaster. I'd much rather have the job done right over there, with our military training the Iraqi army and police to do things right, so they can guard their citizens, then rush the job and have the country go back to tyrants worse than Saddam.
I am telling you, it is people like you who would've done a grave dissservice to this country in the generation of World War 2. There is absolutely little to no patience with wars nowadays. Slowly, ever since World War 2, there's been an erosion in the culture of this country that is putting us at risk for something worse than 9/11...We don't learn from history. Islamofacists are the 21st century ****s. Watch the documentary Obsession to understand that.
It's amazing how his initial post is fine and dandy, especially since you two share the same opinion about the war. Please, you lost your credibility there. If the roles had been reversed and I had said something in support of the war and said I was in the Navy, Army, etc, I would've been flamed. The point is, if he or you do not want an opinion shouted back at you, the common sense approach would be to say nothing at all in the first place.
He only even mentioned the war, it appears, in response to cyberkitten's support of his war efforts.
I mean where do you come from? The dude makes one comment in response and all the sudden D;(k Cheaney signs on his GDS acct and starts going off on home boy... D;(k put the keyboard down and go hunt for quail.

Considering the Iraqi army is well into being trained makes this nonsense pointless. I am in a military town, (Camp Pendleton). So I can tell you that the troops don't want to rush anything. Why? If they rush and leave, and Iraq really falls apart, it would mean all the lives lost would've been in vain. All because naive liberals wanted a few more votes.
Sample some real servicemen in Iraq, and they'll tell you the answers is more troops to secure the capital. The big mistake of all this war was not going to war but it was fighting a war with a small amount of troops.
The telling thing in all of this, while you rant about the President, is that unlike other liberals, George Bush has stuck to his stance on this war and has not wavered from it. The same thing was true with Harry Truman and he was a very unpopular President, but all of his opinions were validated about the Soviet Union and the Cold War.

Why was a comment even made in the first place? And judging by your typical liberal insult at the end, you shouldn't be adding anything to this conversation because you're too biased to begin with. Why no "NO WAR FOR OIL" slogan?

The comment was made, as I said, because CyberKitten wanted to show support. He responded to let her know it was ok that she didnt support the war itself, but was cool that she supports his putting himself out there.
The comment wasnt made so that the first pro war protestor on the board could come and start some debate on a "war".

Seconded. This subject tends to get me stressed a lot (as does anyone that talks about 'naive liberals' like they're the devil's children, when careful studies of the New Testament show the shocking truth -- that Jesus was, in fact, a [moderate] liberal), and I really don't need to see it when I'm trying to figure out when a mod for a wrestling game's gonna come out.

Right, the long and short of it is this is about 88-90% done, now that doesnt means the data will be released today or nothing.
What is left to do:-
Sort gimmick rating on all the contracts since it messed up on conversion
Update all Rosters,champions etc.
Do Alter Egos
Add Some Arenas i have wrote down (anyone wants to do this for me to import they can just offer :))

Can I just quickly say, don't just release it straight after you've "finished". You should do some proper, utterly painstaking, testing. I know for a fact that the DOTT crew are testing away like lab techs in white coats...although, it's probably more fun than working with mice.
It'll probably be hard to test it for too long though as everyone will be a: asking for it to be released and b: pm'ing you asking to be part of the testing team.

Hey, just wanted to say that I am sorry for starting this crazy off the wall debat about the "war". My intention was NOT to start anything with anybody, I have my own reasons for not supporting the war and I dont have to explain myself to anybody. All I wanted was to respond to Cyberkitten and let that be that.
Back on topic, Its good to hear that you are almost done with the mod Forlan, you are one of the best mod makers on the boards and one that I truly respect for the time and dedication you put into the mod. I agree that you should do some good testing after it is complete just to see if things run smoothly and what not.
Again sorry for spurring a huge debat about something that has no place in this thread.

You've got a VERY VALID point. D.O.T.T needs testing for various historical reason's, if nothing else. Pluss, the roster's are historic, so set in stone so to speak.
Your's is the here and now, and what happens next is not known, so how would you test that aspect of it anyways? Should certain promotions start to expand or decline, etc... We don't know that yet.
Pluss, as you said, alot of promotions change up on you in a few days time, let alone weeks going by. You would have to change the roster's, and possibly test again.
The things that matter (like Storylines having angle's to support them, etc.) can be done by one or two people without much trouble I imagine.
I'm a fan of both, historic and modern. I'm just here for the fun, lol.

"The Haze" Daizee Haze is an accomplished female worker trained out in St. Louis at the Gateway Championship Wrestling Dojo and one of the modern day pioneers for the promotion of women's wrestling in the United States. With tours of Mexico under her belt she can be seen around various promotions although she seems to call SHIMMER her home. She employs a very hard hitting style considering her gender including the utilisation of the Heart Punch and a vicious straight kick to the head.

latenitescw
01-04-2007, 07:21 PM
Forlan's right. There are some women who aren't afraid of their makeup or hair, who actually get in there and mix it up. Even WWE's female stars who do wrestle can't hold a flame to indy women. WWE protected their women and forced them to wrestle safe matches, so that they could still be around to do sexist backstage segments and photo shoots, things that seem to make wrestling the afterthought.
You are very wrong in your assumption.

Probably other area's for TEW and EWR talk. I don't know if he is, but he might be making another update with EWR as well, to go along with this. T-Zone is pretty popular outside of here....
For example, I heard about the T-Zone updates for EWR long before I come to find out about TEW period.... And I never knew of this websight before I knew of T-Zone (although I did know who Adam was, and Sophie, etc.). The EWR link was messed up in the EWR I played, far as trying to find THIS sight was concerned, I had to do a Search on Adam Ryland.

That site is basically run by people comparable to Hitler. You can't say anything that the moderators and admins don't agree with. Generally, they are VERY anti-american too, so if you are an American, you'll be banned likely. You're not missing much by not being on EWB. I'd say these forums are much better and professional. I'd say include them all, home talent, freelancers, everyone that is currently touring when the mod comes out include. Honestly the freelancers that tour with the promotions doesn't change all that much. Nor is there a lot of them in any given promotion. And they are guaranteed to be there for a month at least, normally longer though. The guys I wouldn't include are guys who are in a fed through a talent trade or working agreement. Like when Dragon Gate guys (by guys I mean Mochi :p) go to NJPW, those guys can be left out. But guys like Apache Army should be included in NJPW, they don't tour every month but the have been showing up for several shows for months now feuding with CTU.

Yeah, I remember EWE. I could care less which site was better. I just wanted good conversation and to read other poster's booking styles. Instead, the egoes and low self esteem complexes that the EWB admins had ruined those forums and other forums as well because they'd send spammers over to disrupt everything.
The other strange thing about EWB is that it doesn't matter if your show made absolutely no sense. As long as you had TONS of writing, all of a sudden it is "quality." Javert, for instance, perhaps the most overrated "diary" writer, wrote a lot of unnecessary writing. The only thing that matter is the booking, not an entire play by play of an imaginary match.

That's not nice at all.
Don't be mean to us forlan... We've been kind in our drooling. Heck, I even mopped up last night. And the stuff I mopped up was NOT pretty.

As long as you had TONS of writing, all of a sudden it is "quality." Javert, for instance, perhaps the most overrated "diary" writer, wrote a lot of unnecessary writing. The only thing that matter is the booking, not an entire play by play of an imaginary match.
What ever happened to him? I remember searching on google for maybe an old archieve of his WWF diary but found nothing.

Add me in if you want... doesn't really bother me. My last match is in 15 days, so at best I'd be set as a manager or what ever. My back has seen better days and my knees aren't that great either. What's stupid is my knees don't even have a reason to be so weak but even with two sets of kneepads on the general bumping bruises them up purple and black. My back is either herniated discs or something worse... but losing feeling in my shoulders a few times a day is nothing unique. So I'm not sure what my role is going to be after the 20th. I don't even know if I'm dropping my belt or surrendering it after retaining... no one will tell me a thing.
As it pertains to EWB... my ban was due to a mod breaking several rules set in place and I was banned for calling him childish. I don't care who thinks that place is so great... it's pathetic. I spammed them a couple of times a couple years back just to get a rise out of them but ever since an even more childish power structure took place I've left it alone. Nothing but childish minds thinking they're something special for running a message board.
As for T-Zone... this mod might be the only reason I end up buying the game. I've played the demo and I can't see spending $35 on an update of 2005 without a good mod to play and so far I haven't seen one... so if this gets tons of praise I may spend my $35.

@ skillz17 .. All I did was convert the data and that about does it. I didn't really edit a whole lot tbh, cause first of all I am german so I don't really get to see a whole lot of US indies, except for what you can find on the net, and we're missing something like the Wrestling Channel here badly. So if I was to alter stats etc it would simply not be correct for the majority of the workers.
So in short, no, I haven't edited one bit. I would say straight converting of data works soso, what I don't get however is this:
If a worker has E+ overness somewhere, but his entertainment skills are B/B+, how come those angles (mainstream being key feature) still don't score higher than E/D- at times (momentum being fairly ok) - I mean, he should be able to get the crowd to rally behind him fairly well, no? Is this related to the converted data not being properly adjusted or is it something with the game?

it takes like 20 seconds to do a quick add for a future worker.
djthefunkchris
01-05-2007, 03:51 PM
Only if you have them memorized (birthdays and such). If your just throwing something together, yeah, no problem. However, if your trying to at least get some of it kind of accurate, you will take more then 20 seconds a person (over time). Just clicking from one screen to the other, or hitting enter is a couple of seconds.
SO lets say you have 50 new workers you want in, I say that would probably take an hour or so, IF you have all the information you need in front of you.
However, when you have stuff like, "Such and such is 3, the other is 5, but the first one is oldest (I don't know his age)." Then you have to do the research part of it, which can take up to 30 minutes sometimes per person...
So now if only 10 out of the 50 are something you need to research, your time has increased up to another 8 hours or more.
Other things can complicate it as well. Most the people making real mods, really do want to get things as accurate as possible, so asking them to just "quick add" a real person, even one that's not grown up yet, is hard for them to do. They want to know, is their birthday in april, or june? Etc.
I'm not knocking the addition of future worker's or not, but I think sometimes people in haste and excitement sometime's forget the hard work (and how close they make it to real life) that is done for any part of this type of mod.
Just try doing one fed you think you really know (if you never done a mod before). All the backstage hands, "Doink the clown" type things going on that you NEVER see unless you been to a show live. Not just the Commentator's and wrestlers, but the actual booker's, the road agents, the writers, etc.

Personally I could care less about future workers unless its someone that we know for sure (100%) has a strong interest in becoming a wrestler. A kid that's 3 or 5 or 8 might say they want to be a wrestler because Mom or Dad is but they may end up not putting in the work to do so. Or maybe they become teenagers and decide that wrestling isn't cool but acting or music or football is. Or maybe they decide they want to be a doctor or lawyer. I'm going to erase all of the new workers anyway. I would imagine that adding new workers is probably going to take 1 to 5 days to put it all together. If someone debuts in the wrestling world next week in the indy scene then just create them, import and add relationships. If you get 20 years in the game and decide that you think Chris Benoit's sun should be a wrestler then create him and make him a wrestler. Oh well, that's just my take on it. Just trying to save time on something that doesn't seem important or realistic but if its done then thanks anyway and I appriciate the work.

Nah but it's cool to have the kids of some of the stars to use once they've retired.
If you need a new English fed to add to replace any removed ones, here's a brilliant one:
http://www.futurewrestling.co.uk/
They've used Jonny Storm in the past and have Doug Williams appearing soon. They're on the same level as K-Star wrestling, they used to use a few of the same wrestlers if I remember.
Spud used to be a regular fixture (I walked past him outside the venue once, he was so short, it's the smoking that stunts your growth apparently. ;)) but he left to goto FWA, he's quite an egomaniac I've heard.

Well, the way I've been doing mine, is randomly choosing wrestlers kids (or making them up) and then randomly deciding if they're good enough. Then I've also randomly chose people from other professions, like Demeco Ryans from the Houston Texans of teh NFL, or Justin Kordsmeier who was a center on the Washington st. Basketball team, but wasnt very good... Then I've also been creating some totally fake guys, and randomly choosing if they will be good as well. All, pretty much random, like real life....
Sorry to hear it didnt work for ya Forlan. If you want, I could finish it up, then right before the release I could go through using the TZone worker's data and make the relationships.... Got time to do stuff like this, screen mods, etc, since 1RC is now on hold for a long while...

Then he should just ignore those losers. Whatever is left looks mostly like it can be done by the user. For instance, title histories is something I could do. The information is out there on many websites for most if not all promotions.
I just don't feel like buy TEW 2007 without something...While the fictional database is impressive, it is not something that would keep me interested long.

I agree about alter-egos, that is one thing I been really been waiting for in a mod and they defiantly can be useful. Indy stars you don't know under their real name and other wrestlers you don't know under their real name can be found under the alter egos.
Just take your time, even though my diary and mod will be on hold until this is done, I rather play a complete and excellent game then a good game filled with empty spaces.

Now I have not had a whole lot of time with the game (I just have a hard time getting into C-Verse-sorry Adam), but does that mean we can just select someone and make them a user character? Or do we have to go in and create the whole character and then delete them from the database so we dont have 2 Jeff Jarretts (lord forbid!)

Fully agree with you Sensai. It is also a little about pride I think. I was in a similar situation when I was in this band a few years ago - when we recorded the album, ppl would poke me all the time if they could maybe listen to one of the rough mixes ... right. Not going to happen.
I mean, I wouldn't mind a beta to play, would deffo be better than the simple converted data I got, but I reckon, from what Forlan and others said, not enough ppl who are waiting for this mod to come out understand the concept of a beta to begin with, so I will patiently wait for Forlan to finish this.

Just a note from things i am noticing, people seem to be perceiving alter egos in the wrong way.
Alter Egos are one per person per promotion maximum, so you cant really have Isaac Yankem for example because Glenn JAcobs' WWE alter ego would be Kane. And the indy stars wont need alter egos as Homicide for example works the same everywhere so is real name would have nowhere to go in the game, alter ego or otherwise, hope you understand.

But, Forlan is putting hard work into this even with his tight schedule. So, most of the people should thank him before he even releases it.
Eh...I still think a lot of what is left are things the end user can just do. That's why I think an "as is" version would be nice. If they have complaints, as Snitsky says, it's not your fault, it's theirs.
It's a week or so away. I want it as much as the next guy but releasing a beta version now would only slow down the process.

Actually, it might be the opposite. This way he'd have a few people testing what has been done and what needs to be improved before people complain when it is released.

Just because the character was sooooo stupid, and since Kane (a very good character) is being treated like Jobber of the Year, he might as well go back to a ****ty gimmick.

I think it would be the other way around. The Christian name is owned by the WWE. Therefore his alter ego would be as Christian in the WWE only.

No matter how good the mod is, and I hope it will be, there will be people who have suggestions and corrections, as they should. 100 set of eyes are better then a few. So I don't see a reason either that the process of that should be slowed down a week.

Yeah. It's just too bad if people take suggestions and corrections are "getting on" someone. From everything I've seen that's not the case.
MrKain
01-06-2007, 03:15 PM
"Getting on" someone is when they're giving him pointers on something he already knows is a problem. Why would he want to give you something with stuff that he knows are problems? For that matter, if you already knew something was wrong, would you want to give that to someone just so they can toss the exact thing you know is wrong right back in your face?
I wouldn't.
I understand you want it now, hell, I want it now. But I don't want to have to have something to complain about that is blatant enough for him to know about. At the same time, I don't think you do either. Just because it's constructive criticism doesn't always mean it's welcome criticism. Besides, most of the people who will criticise will not fix the problem themselves and help out by giving him their info, they'll just complain and wait for a fix.
Even Adam Ryland himself goes through this type of criticism a LOT. I'm not technically able to help fix things, and I don't want to complain about a problem unless it's REALLY a problem, and it's REALLY something they never noticed.

By the way Forlan, thank you very much for putting all this effort into this mod for us. Also dont go to hard on all the guys who keep asking for the release of this mod (this goes out to everybody), we are al just anxiously awaiting the opportunity to play with the sure to be great mod. It's unfortunate, though. I decided to buy the game anyways. I downloaded a converted file but that probably isn't the same. It'd be nice to use a TEW07 file and make any edits necessary from that file, instead of a converted file...Unless there is no differences.

There is one thing I am curious about as I am sure you had test runs in the meantime .. I am playing a 2 player game with the data I converted and its not really giving a lot of satisfying results .. Dont forget, this game is DESIGNED to be harder to get those B - A+ shows everybody was knocking out left and right after just a few shows. With the whole new "Perfect Show" therory where you have to take the crowd threw highs and lows it makes it harder to get those high scores. If you compare that to most wrestling shows today and if look really hard at yur favorite promotion, try giving even the best cards that thy have had anything over a B (certainly the WWE has not done very many C+ shows in recent memory, and the PPV' are at the most C-). Its not going to be a easy time getting those ratings again, but therein lies the challange and I cant wait for it (I know that there are gramatical errors and misspellings in this but it is late and I am getting ready to watch Impact - most likly a C show tonight:D )

Isn't that because Adam adjusted the grading scale? In TEW 05 the A grade level covered a greater percentage range then B, C etc. So while it's harder to get a good show rating the change in the grading system makes it look worse then it really is.

True enough. It is something you have to get used to at first for sure. But yah, some things are just weird when I compare the converted real life data I use to my humble attempts at getting accustomed to the Cornellverse (which, sadly, I cannot get into although I tried).
For example, I had no trouble doing C+ or better shows with TCW using the Cornellverse, but didn't manage to go over D shows with WWE in my T-Zone 05-->07 set (1RC being even slightly worse actually), which is why I was asking Forlan if he could tell a little bit of his testing experiences with his new mod.
I also found it fairly funny that when I didn't change gimmicks after converting the data, everybody from Team Canada in TNA would use a Failed Ballerina gimmick ... :p
Another thing I would like to know if you will keep regular 1v1 match ups at 3 minutes non wrestling time and minimum 5 minutes in ring time or if you will go back to what it was in TEW 05 (2 mins/1 min).

Maybe there just shouldn't be many over C+ shows booked by the AI in reality though. Other then Ring of Honor, which promotion is consistantly putting on good shows? Or good shows at all? From testing, TNA Impact pulled a B in the same week as RAW pulled a C+ and Smackdown pulled a B-. Many promotions ar epulling C-C+ at the moment with D's and such the further down the indy scale you go.

When their popularity is too far down the list, and they're already signed to a PPA, WWE will sign them to a PPA to steal their popularity from the other companies. Since TNA is on a PPA agreement, and the WWE doesn't want to pay more for them, they signed them to a PPA agreement, and try to ruin their careers.
It did that in '04 and '05, too. Pain in the ass, that WWE.

Sigh. The whole point of 'at war' in TEW is so that workers work for one promotion at a time. In reality, they can't work for TNA and WWE, unless they're both using them for one appearance. Therefore, as much as the companies aren't officially 'at war', it still applies in the game.
MrKain
01-07-2007, 11:29 AM
This is true, forlan. Not trying to sound like an ass, but WWE will not hire wrestlers that are on a rival televised company. Neither will TNA, even if the wrestlers were on PPA contracts.
So indirectly, they're at war. Just because they aren't at ratings war, or personal war, doesn't mean they aren't at war.

TNA's booking has been absolutely awful lately. Having the World title switch hands at a PPV by disqualification? I could understand if it were a lower card title, but the World frickin' title changing hands by DQ at a big event is ridiculous. What makes it even worseis that days before, Abyss had done the job to Kurt Angle on his debut, which didn't even have any relevance to either storyline - if you want Kurt to go over, why have him go over the guy that's gonna win the world title in a few days?
Kurt Angle beating Samoa Joe on their first encounter was retarded. They could of at least built the feud up before they go and make Kurt Angle defeat the most entertaining undefeated streak for years. I would have liked to see them build up to it similar to the Rey Mysterio/Eddie Guerrero storyline, having Kut frustrated that he can't beat Joe.
And don't get me started on VKM... Just because they got primetime, TNA basically think that they own, and go and declare war on one of the most powerful companies in the world. They need to seriously step up before they go to war with WWE, or they'll get crushed.

That's the problem with TNA's system when it comes to this game. In reality, the talent is contracted, and TNA books them on indy shows. They aren't allowed to work for any company that has national distribution of DVD's or television, minus CZW and ROH. In the game, that doesn't work so hot.

It's really not Forlan. Just my *2 cents*. TNA is unwatchable at times but its due to the writers and storylines that they come up with. Or the WWE jabs that they continue to do, the difference between TNA and WWE is that TNA has some very good matches on a consistent basis. That's their saving grace. WWE is bad on both ends (Although the ladder match at Armageddon was good). I agree that indies are better, but they are more "wrestling" than "sports entertainment" with storylines and writing. I, myself, can't judge them on the same scale because of this. They are different types of promotions, it's like trying to rate NFL, CFL, AFL. Sure they all play football, but they have a lot of different rules that make it difficult to judge them all on one big platau.

I played a conversion mod and i tryied to do a roster split. Here are the problems
1. Now you can't have more than one parent company. So OVW can't be the development territory of RAW, Smackdown and ECW.
2. The good thing is that you can set the owner to have Small or Medium roster, which allow to have only 30 wrestler in your company while being at Global.
3. They say you don't have enough big names for your size. Maybe the popularity of the worker in this mod were too low but the smaller your roster is, the less big names you have.

We had a discussion about this on the TNM Forums. Oliver Copp has allowed anyone to use the source code from TNM 6.2. Additionally, Oliver has a lot of experience in the wrestling industry. He would be an invaluable source for wrestling knowledge, especially on the business side.
There's really no excuse to not have a match engine similar to TNM. Unless Adam thinks his customers have short attention spans.

Meh... must be because I'm in their home area. I live in Jersey, and I see a lot of their stuff showing up... must be just local distribution.
Here in Texas, you very very very very very rarely see any ROH dvds... I think I've seen a couple once at Best Buy...

I have never seen one. Never heard of them till I visit this website. Then again I wasn't very open to the smaller feds.

Then it must be because of where I live. They have a show near me at least 6-7 times a year. Four in Rahway and then three in Edison. Sorry... derailed the thread again.
Sorry, Forlan. On with the show.

Another thing is, I wish TEW had some kind of match engine like TNM. It really wouldn't be too difficult to code but it seems like Adam doesn't like the idea. It'd be nice if we at least had the option, because I'm sure at least some of us would like to read the match results.
Mind if I ask what is TNM?

TNM is a wrestling simulator, im not gonna post the link in case i get into trouble lol, but i had version 6 a while back and its quite poor, i think its on around version 7.2 if you search for TNM simulator on google it will come up but its not really worth it in my opinion. its about $65 dollars as well if i remember rightly

But thats not really a promoter simulation like TEW is. The only thing it has over TEW is the matches.

Yeah sorry i should have said. i mean it would be a decent enough product if they gave you all the plug ins and what not with it but paying $6.90 per plug in is abit harsh.

TEW doesn't need a matc engine like that as often they are very repetitive and people get sick of them, TEW puts the information you need in front of you and thats fine by me.

gotta agree forlan, where the macth reports where good on EWR they did get tedious and i skipped them 90% of the time, any way, how far are you along with this forlan? if you dont have any scottish feds for us scottish peeps i can do 1-2 of them that are pretty close to where i stay one of them is kinda affiliated with the nwa?

Yup i agree 100% Forlan. I also think that TEW allows more creativity for the user. I'm looking forward to this mod Forlan, i'm currently making do with my WWE v Cornellverse after importing your 2005 WWE into my default database. I'm not doing too great so far but good news is old man Vince died 6 months into my game and Paul hayman now owns WWE. its one thing overcoming SWF in the cornellverse with TCW but overcoming 2 giants is another. Especially when WWE basically rape the free agents and indys of any decent talent.

I always thought TNM > TEW because of the match simulator. I remember the first time I tried EWR, I was so hyped because this game had so much more information, wrestlers and promotion than TNM. I booked a show, then nothing.. I was so bummed out.
Now.. it's the other way around. I even contributed to an excel program that would simulate a promotion's finances in TNM, gave me a much better playing experience. I would quickly scroll through the match simulations and pretty much make up the match recap myself, regardless of what it said. So when TEW 07 came out and I actually played it for several days in a row without getting bored, I was extremely pleased.
I don't really think the match simulator is very repetetive, and it's possibly as realistic as you can get it. But Oliver doesn't work on it much more, and it could really be improved by bringing it to a Windows platform. 65 bucks? I had no idea I had shelled out that much over the years... guess it seems a little less when you spread it out over many years.
OK, sorry to derail the thread even more, but I guess it's better than us nagging about when you're releasing it, right? :D

I'll do SWA and BCW for you if you like? But i'm not too great on stats and what not. So if I do the basics for the Promotions and workers would you correct the stats and make them more life like? Both are local sized promotions.

Yeah, no problem, some of their roster may already be in the data, like doesn't Darkside and Wolfgang and possibly Eric Canyon work for at least one of them for starters?

Wolfgang and Darkside definately do, as T2K and in singles competition. Not sure about Canyon.

Ah, sorry - didn't see it. You planning on adding RQW for future released as they're becoming a fairly big player in the UK scene, LDN would also be a worthwhile addition

With SWA MUST come Greenock town hall! The only live wrestling I've yet seen was there, I even saw Earthquake and Yokozuna :) It'd be tiny and definitely no hotspot (unless you count the neds that attend to cause trouble...). Although, in saying that, nobody's come here in a while... :(
Oh and bigjabbadudley, a mate of mine was considering joining their trainnig too. You'll need to let us know how you get on!

I saw him live once, beat D'lo Brown and some other guy for the IWW title at Main Event wrestling in Newcastle.
Since im back on the bio trail for a little bit, here is another couple of teaser bios, you may want them, you may not, im just doing it cos i can XD
"Canadian Dynamite" Maxime Boyer is a trainee of many people including Marc Le Grizzly and Jacques Rougeau who works a style similar to that of Chris Benoit and The Dynamite Kid which earned him the nickname he holds. He wrestles primarily in the Quebec area for many promotions including the International Wrestling Syndicate and also in the North East for CHIKARA. He recently became the CHIKARA Young Lions Cup champion defeating Arik Cannon at Cibernetico Forever.
"Sexy Chucky T" Chuck Taylor is a Mid-West sensation who broke out into the mainstream independent promotions in 2006 and has never looked back since. After only a short time he managed to capture the IWA Mid South World Title and has defended it with pride since. He has also recently began working more in the North East area for promotions including Combat Zone Wrestling and CHIKARA.
"The 8 Bit Lucha" Player Uno is a very interesting character originating in the Quebec region. Trained by Rick Sterling and Tommy Blade he is billed as coming from "Mushroom Kingdom" and his gimmick revolves around video games as evidenced in such moves as The Game Genie, The Bubble Bobble Buster and the Goomba Stomp. He has recently became a fixture on the North East United States scene for CHIKARA where his gimmick fits in perfectly with their over the top antics.
"The Future of the Future of the Sambo Style" Andy Sumner is a graduate of the CZW/CHIKARA wrestle factory. Sumner specialises in several MMA styles, formerly competing in several professional MMA bouts before turning his hand to pro wrestling. Sumner is a well rounded ground worker who still trains week in, week out attempting to better himself in ability in the hope of achieving regular working status in the North-East.
Bryce Remsburg is regarded by many fans and workers within the business as the best referee on the independents today and not many could argue with such a statement. Working all over from Florida to Pennsylvania to Illinois and more he also often is found on commentary offering his opinion on matches. Outside of the ring he is a part of the "Secret Pants" comedy sketch group.

Lucky you going to see MUTA *Green-eyed Monster*
I was planning on going to see the 1PW show with him on but saving for wrestling training put pay to those plans (thank God!)
It'd be cool to see Charles Boddington in the game :) I saw him live once, managing "Thee" Drew Galloway (is he in the mod?)
