Okay, the first time I did this I had a lot of fun and I am picking it up again. I was extremely upset how my last game got scratched and I was going to leave that Greene off with a bang; and I still might; for now I will restart with a different Marcus Greene and now on NBA 2K11
More to come

"Hi, I am Andy Katz and with the deadline for College Hoops players to announce if they will enter the draft, we will be very busy and exicted to see who will be making that big leap to the NBA." Katz has his silly little grin.
"We will obviously be watching the Kentucky Wildcats as we expect 6 different players to announce their jump to the NBA."

"We have an update on Duke. With news out of Kentucky about John Wall and company bolting for the NBA, Duke became a big question mark for the simple fact that they are the defending champions. We didn't expect anyone to bolt for the simple fact that they can all use a little more training and Duke has done well at keep players for the full 4 years. This though is shocking news, SG Marcus Greene will leave Duke to enter the draft. Now Greene was one most hyped player in last year's recruiting class along with John Wall. Many Remember he almost went to Kentucky, but choose Duke over Kentucky after the reports came out about John Calipari.
Now what makes this so interesting is the fact that Marcus didn't even touch a ball last year at Duke. His mother died 2 weeks before he started attending school then he came back in December and the day he came back he got in a tussle with another student and he left school. We can't really scout him execpt for what we stated when he was recruited, but we will watch him during the combine and throught the offseason leading into the season."

“Chad Ford with you again to talk to you about this year’s exciting NBA draft and it’s prospects. Now as excited as I am about this class I also see the talent level dropping off quiet a bit outside of the top 6 players in my opinion.”
In this episode we will review each player by the spot we are predicting them to go in the draft.
1) The Washington Wizards: They had a difficult season this year. The year started off fine record wise, but 1/3 of the way through Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton. Gilbert was suspended for the remainder of the season and the Wizards started their rebuild process. First they traded Caron Butler, Haywood, and Stevenson to the Mavs for Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, Quinton Ross and James Singleton. Three days later the traded Antawn Jamison to the Cavs for Zydrunas Ilgauskas and also obtained Al Thornton from the Clippers in a three team trade. Now both of these moves were made for cap reasons. With Gilbert Arenas still locked up for three years, Josh Howard had a team option, Big Z was bought out, and most everyone outside of Al Thornton were expiring contracts.
Now with the number one pick in the draft the Wizards have their pick of the top talent. Now to me, there is a clear cut top 2. It’s John Wall and Evan Turner. I know a lot of people have talked about the skills of one Marcus Greene, but with the uncertainty of him mentally he isn’t in the talk, at least not with a team that truly needs a slam dunk. Now the battle between Wall and Turner is interesting, Wall is a big version PG, which means he can play PG or SG. He has tremendous court vision and I think with a healthy Arenas that would help the rebuilding Wizards more than a shooting guard in Turner. Also, I think Walls age and potential help him out here.
Pick: John Wall
2) Philadelphia 76ers: A team who is just coming off a summer two years ago where they gave Iggy and Elton Brand big contracts, the cap strapped 76ers need help and help quickly. Elton Brand can still be productive, but he is now on the wrong side of 30. Iggy is still a load at SF, but he needs help and quickly. They picked up Jrue Holiday last year who I still think will be their future PG. This team has young blocks to play with so this draft is crucial.
Now, this means if they need someone to help Iggy, they have that PG, and they seems to be set at PF/C for at least 2 years, then Evan Turner is the main guy here. He has great upside and I believe he is the guy to at least help the 76ers.
Pick: Evan Turner
3) New Jersey Nets: This is a great spot for the Nets. I know getting the chance to get Wall is at the top of everyone’s list, but the Nets can now add a big man to go along with Brook Lopez. Favors and Lopez could make a new twin towers in the New York/New Jersey area. Them along with Devin Harris, Anthony Morrow who I believe will be a double digit scorer in NJ, and Terrence Williams who I also believe will take a huge step forward in his 2nd season. The Nets won’t be horrible like last year, but don’t expect them if they get Favors.
Pick: Derrick Favors

I didn’t have a horrible life growing up. It wasn’t the best I won’t lie, but not horrible. I never met my dad and my mom was always working to make sure my brother and sister were taken care of. I helped her out with Andrew and Cyndi by working a weekend job. I played basketball throughout high school because well simply it was my get away from life. I did what I wanted and took my frustrations out on the court. Slowly people took notice in my abilities; I was getting calls getting calls from schools and scholarships in the mail. The one that meant the most those was Duke, but that was because of moms. She wanted me to go for the education as well as basketball. I personally wanted to go to Kentucky and play with the greatest group of players ever assembled, but again moms had her mind set. So, I signed with Duke and prepared to start fall practice. That’s where the trouble kicked in and my world started spinning.
Ring, Ring……. "What the hell"….. Ring, Ring….. "Hold on"…… Ring, Ring…… I reached for the phone and picked it up “Hello?” there was nothing on the other end “Hey guys, this might be some freshman hazing, but it’s 3 in the morning and I need sleep.” Finally a sound sniffled and I could hear Cyndi’s voice “Marcus? Hey big brother it’s Cyndi” I could hear Cyndi was crying “Cyndi what’s wrong?” she tried to speak up, but her voice was faint and raspy “Marcus… its mom.” I was wide awake now “What about mom Cyndi? What’s wrong with her?” Cyndi continued to sulk “She was shot Marcus!” I was out of my bed and getting dressed now “What!?! How!?!?! When!?!?! What happened Cyndi? Clear thoughts put into clear words Cyndi!” Cyndi cleared her voice “She was on her way from home and she was driving and someone pulled up next to her and shot at her.” I stopped; I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Why would anyone shoot my mom? She was one of those people that no one disliked “How is she Cyndi, can she talk?” Cyndi grew silent “Cyndi...” still nothing, “CYNDI!!” a whisper arose from her “She’s dead Marcus…. She’s gone” I dropped the phone, my eyes were watering I was fighting the tears back. It’s wasn’t working the sadness and pain turned into hatred and anger and I unleashed it. I started punching the wall, hole after hole. My hand was sore, numb, and now bleeding. I got a taxi straight to the airport and grabbed a flight home. “Why, why is this happening to me?”

1)Minnesota Timberwolves: This team is in a free fall and it’s not looking any better. They are in the process of trying to ship Al Jefferson out and they had a horrible draft last year. They do have some pieces to build around though. Jonny Flynn had a very nice rookie year for them last year and will look to improve on those numbers. Wayne Ellington wasn’t great and will probably never be a superstar or every day starter, but as a 6th player/role player he could excel. Corey Brewer came back from the knee injury in a big way and was my vote for most improved player last year. Kevin Love is the last piece to this puzzle. He has done well in his development and should be a great starter for years to come.
What this team needs though is a true scorer. To me that player could be a Wesley Johnson or Xavier Henry. Now T’Wolves aren’t always the smartest pickers, but you aren’t going to take Xavier Henry or Wesley Johnson. Wesley gives them a shorter Forward who could transition into a SG and allow Love, Brewer, Johnson, and Flynn to make a nice young starting nucleus. Now you just need to find a real Center and not settle for Darko.
My Pick: Wesley Johnson
2)Sacramento Kings: This is an improving team that really intrigues me coming into the draft. They have a future star at SG in Tyreke Evans. Jason Thompson and Carl Landry make a nice Forward pair. After those three though I don’t like much of the talent they have.
That is why this draft is so important (heck all drafts are important) but this one mainly. I think they go with a player that has tremendous up side, a player that won’t be counted on this year to produce, but if he does it will be a win. DeMarcus Cousins is the player that to me is a perfect fit for this team. We have called him lazy, but if the Kings can put a fire under him he could be a much better player than his teammate Derrick Favors.
My Pick: Derrick Favors.
3)Golden State: This team has money under their cap, but they have an owner (hopefully not for long) who could make Golden State have another horrible year. This team does have an upside though; they have Stephen Curry under contract for at least 3 more years. Monta Ellis is still player one of the guard positions and Andris Biedrins is just one injured year removed from averaging a double. This team needs a Forward and a forward is what they’ll get. Epke Udoh is a great pick up for them and would develop well. As much as I wanted to put Marcus Greene and believe he would benefit well in this system, I just can’t see where he would fit in this team (even though he would probably love to be close to home).
My Pick: Epke Udoh
