I don't suppose anyone fancies having a go at Cornellversing a picture of myself? I'd find it very useful for various aspects of the game, especially my dynasty.

I'd like this picture used but please ignore the american football pads - you can include them if you like but the orange tape shouldn't carry over as I can't remember why it was on me in the first place.

Hey does anyone have the old version of Daz Studio. I need anything before DAZ Studio 1.8.2.1. I cant get my skin textures to show up, they just keep showing up white and it is angering me that I cant work on renders.

I know next to nothing about DAZ Studio Trell, but it looks like the textures are just missing in general, not only the skin texture, so maybe it's related to your settings.

I've tried every M3 texture i've got and they're all working fine so I doubt it's anything to do with the version of Studio you're using. Try reinstalling Studio and if it's still not working i'd get in touch with DAZ Tech Support.

Here is the email I was sent from Daz tech support after I was having texture issues after installing the Victoria 4.2 update.

The issue that you have experienced is a known issue and has now been fixed. The files in your download section have been updated and will overwrite any previous installations. The issue in question seems to have been central with certain European systems running the windows XP operating system.

Trell my issues werent as drastic as you have but it might be related. I was just getting crashes when using certain textures.

Nothing crazy but enough to look like he was injured in the match. Due to the burns maybe have him look a little more menacing? I don't know how... but i'm thinking of pushing him like a Kane character now.. however.. the difference is we saw exactly what happened to him.

The original headband didn't work too well with Chris, so I tried a couple of different looks...hope these work for you.

I realize that you aren't Rathen, but the same applies. Most of us hanging around at the moment are just doing alts and not full renders. You'll likely have to wait longer on yours to get done (and when one of the render guys sees it) than those who just want alts.

Way back on the first page of the thread, which I know Trell has updated from time to time, are the general rules of thumb for renders/alts here, which is what we've used in the past.
1) Own use - nobody cares
2) Diary use - nobody minds
3) Mod use - ask permission through a PM
4) Any use outside GDS - ask permission through a PM

People that haven't wanted their renders/alts using have generally posted something along those lines with the render (e.g. for viewing only).

I know that I have no problems with anyone using anything I've done for a diary game (and based on the above rules don't expect them to PM me about it each time) but I know some others may not feel that way. So if you want to be asked permission for your render work to be used in a diary, perhaps just put a message to say so with the renders/alts you post to clarify your stance on it, as it's different from the general one laid out for this thread.

So yeah, here's my version of Rip Chord in fullbody form, thought I might as well share it. If anyone wants to use it for anything TEW-related, go for it. I've been fairly inactive in this thread lately, hopefully I'll get around to making more of a contribution sometime. You don't want to know how many times I've tried the Emma Bitch idea. The Shadows make it very tricky. I was also working on a Jessica Bunny, not a farm girl one, but... she's pretty difficult too for some reason. The facial expression is just so big it takes a lot of cheek replacement and smoothing out. Farm Girl might not need it though. The AAA/NOTBPW girls are on my list for when I have another run at this, ideas were one thing I was lacking though.

That's actually almost exactly what I had. I just felt it was lacking something and I couldn't place my finger on it. I tried to add some hands in front of him doing the diamond cutter symbol, but couldn't get anything I liked. It could just be the mullet missing though.

Here is the story background for the renders - as I'm really playing now for the first time a game where I've really gotten into CornellVerse and some of the characters in CZCW. I took them over and really have made it into a solid federation, and I've been playing with the fed for two years.

I have built Kashmir Singh into one of the better heels in my company, playing off an anti-American gimmick - much like Muhammad Hassan had in WWE for the short-time before they had to "kill off" his character - but except he is without a manager. I'm wondering if someone can make a cool looking, Arab-looking head dress sort of like Hassan had for Singh for that character.

I also signed two created workers who had good skill sets who are called "Iranian Assasin No. 1" and "Iranian Assasin No. 2", they will lose those gimmicks after working along side Singh, but I need to see if I can get renders of those two tag team characters, maybe in military type masks or showing their face with facial paint and the head dress, not sure. Just something tough, villainous looking, but after Singh drops his title run, they'll go back to being single wrestlers after a gimmick change under the names Sean and Alan Bradley.

Thanks man. Brazzle looks perfect. Capone's livable considering I found some alts of her with the Masterson stuff. And Emma might be with a different lipstick. Only one I might be able to quibble about is Pettle. The hat looks right but the outfit doesn't. The dress should be more a half and half type thing. Sort like the face paint on Mr. Evilness. But even so, this Pettle could work for a spy or prententious artist gimmick. Can't fault any of these too much. Keep up the good work.

Well, let's see what ideas we can come up with for him before completely dismissing a makeover.

I'd say from a makeover perspective, the first thing that would need to go is the smile. His skills screen does suggest he's a more natural heel after all. Maybe a bit of a sneer or scowl. Maybe even a smirk.

As for gimmick outfits, based on Sakai's skill set here are some that would come to mind for me.

An artist's smock. Possibly with beret. Make him really pretentious about the technical skills he has coming out of the dojo

Motorcycle cop outfit. He could be a good rookie cop drunk on his new-found power.

A chrome colored bodysuit and mask. If you want to go with cheesy lengths, he could make a pretty good wrestling "robot" for some geeky scientist manager type.

Yeah, I was debating whether or not to try that one, but I gave it a shot anyways. Not really crazy about how it came out. My favorite of the group was Shionoya, although I don't know if I made him look menacing enough.

Love the latest Trell renders. Especially the guy with Afro. Really cool stuff. Sort of looks like a black Playboy Buddy Rose.

But Blasphemy, you might want to sober up before doing more. The girl with the two tone hair looks like she ought to be dating Hell Monkey and the snob chick looks a bit too dark in the close-up. Not bad if Tymm was looking for butterfaces I guess. Still, if it were me, I'd want to see someone else's take on these ideas.

Um, I have a request...it's kind detailed, though...

An Elijah Burke type with goldish colored eyes, a slightly smaller forehead (lol), and either an evil smile, or a neutral, slightly angry look on his face. Kind of for a Mordecai-like gimmick, but he'd be wearing a White Tuxedo because he's supposed to be an angel. Lighter skin tone than Elijah Burke (about Theodore Long's color), with dark brown braids as opposed to black. Also, maybe an all White Frank Sinatra style hat. Always either has a white Bandana over his face, (like gang-related) or down around his neck.

Probably true. But it's kind of hard to make out her features for how dark she is in the closeup. I take issue with a bunch of the official CVerse renders of the darker skinned characters for the same reason.

I have to agree. She is far from attractive (the last time I render drunk), but she is far from Chubby, in fact if my wife was as thin as her i'd def think there was a problem.

On subject of the drunken renders i'm not going to be adjusting them in anyway what so ever. They are not worth tinkering with as i'm capable of so much better.

Did you position the head manually with the mouse or did you use the morph sliders?

I'm assuming you are using Daz and not poser though.

pft I used MS Paint and basically reversed the side of the body that didn't have the money over it! Added an extra bit of shape to the bottom but yes, MSPAINT is why it looks so crap!

As soon as I read this I actually wanted to use a Snow Fox Mask character, so I whipped this up. Hope this is something like what you had in mind. I wasn't really able to get any parts of the mask to become black but rather just a dull grey so I thought this looked better. I can still post the grey & white one if you want though.

Um, I have a request...it's kind detailed, though...

An Elijah Burke type with goldish colored eyes, a slightly smaller forehead (lol), and either an evil smile, or a neutral, slightly angry look on his face. Kind of for a Mordecai-like gimmick, but he'd be wearing a White Tuxedo because he's supposed to be an angel. Lighter skin tone than Elijah Burke (about Theodore Long's color), with dark brown braids as opposed to black. Also, maybe an all White Frank Sinatra style hat. Always either has a white Bandana over his face, (like gang-related) or down around his neck.

I forgot to add...despite the fact that I put he's an angel, no wings or halo or any of that. Just a real person

As soon as I read this I actually wanted to use a Snow Fox Mask character, so I whipped this up. Hope this is something like what you had in mind. I wasn't really able to get any parts of the mask to become black but rather just a dull grey so I thought this looked better. I can still post the grey & white one if you want though.

Guys are kinda busy here at the moment so help 'em out a little bit more if you can. Were you looking for originals like Trell's latest here or would alts of say Atlas, Bull Wrecker and Mick Muscles work for you? I would think with the really skilled people seeing their time at a premium that the alts might be quicker if this is a now project in your mind.

In the end its going to have around 15 figures set aside a fantasy background. At the moment it has 7 figures and some of the scene done minus the detail. I clicked the render button and the time estimated was 44 hours :eek:

As for some other requests. I tried some...

Jay Chord (Evolution) - A lot of shading made it an appealing amount of work to put a suit on him.
Primus Allen (Evolution) - He would have looked bad-ass in a suit, but I couldn't find one that would fit.
Hijo Del Mephisto (Desaturation) I assumed this would be a simple case of isolating the reds, then desaturating while upping the contrast and brightness, then overlaying. I tried. It came out badly.

I've also been working on a hatless Stevie Grayson. I did two versions simultaniously, but I'm only going to release one. Here they are, both unfinished. Which do you guys like better?

I didn't try him. I knew I would have to cut around the arm, then draw on a sleeve. It sounded like more work than I was prepared to do this morning. It's definitely on my To-Try List though, if the mood ever strikes me again.

I have a couple to be done:

A big muscular dude who is using the nickname 'Damage Control'. He's a tough hardcore worker so make him look pissed off, wearing black shades and cropped hair.

A luchadore wearing a half mask covering the lower part of his face. He has greasy looking long hair and has black paint around his eyes.

Doing this had made me think. CGC are a Sports Entertainment promotion, right? Shouldn't the DeColts be a more gimmicky family in terms of pictures? I'm more of a NOTBPW fan, but I might play with these guys some more.
