Inspired by Clarity's other thread, I thought I'd have a go at recreating a full C-Verse worker. I don't have any knowledge of faceroom, so this is more guesswork and fiddling with sliders. Anyway, it's a work in progress of Dread, thought I might as well share...

Matrix style is cool. I'm not that concerned about the style, as long as they are not Edge/Christian goofy, or Elvis style. But, if you got some decent Matrix ones, that should be good.

Hair to be a dark blue colour, beard is black (or dark brown) as well as eyebrows (in other words, only head hair blue).

No costume/shirt, but, a bunch of tattoos (skulls, dragons, gothy stuff)

Alicia Strong's pic is probably one of my favourite female ones in the game, with or without the mask, nice job.

Nothing from me at the moment, I'm fiddling around with the mask in the xena wrestling pack and making textures in paint shop to see what the results will be, but then of course it's friday night so I won't be infront of my PC all that much.

I saw you had belts here. Can anybody create title belts for TCW (A promotion I'm running on Cornellverse vs The World mod). I'm in the year 2009 & if anybody can create title belts for TCW, here are the names of my belts:

1) TCW World Heavyweight Champion

3) TCW World Tag Team Champions (2 belts)
4) TCW All Action Champion

If you can create them, can you create them like the GCW National Title that was pictured on the last page (I think it was either page 68 or page 69) If you can, thank you.

Short, brown hair. Brown eyes. Slight tan. Just over six foot. Medium build; not ripped but not a stick. Can generally be seen in a shirt with the sleeves rolled up past the elbow and dark jeans. His clothes look a little worn and dirty, as if he's been on a desert island for a couple of weeks. Light facial hair, five o'clock shadow you might say.

One thing to note if you buy it. When it comes to installation, the obj file to make the shrink the ears for the mask don't install straight to the right directory, instead just goes into the default Poser folder and requires moving. At least it did when I installed it for Poser 6. It's a great pack though, even if the default textures are a bit meh.

To be honest, at the moment I'm being selfish and mainly doing my own stuff, but I might well give your request a go since I've got a fair bit of free time this weekend. The only sticking point might be the glasses, but if they're not up to the job, I'll just render a version with out and I'm sure Marcel can work his magic and photoshop some decent ones on instead.

I took the description from Marcel's post, not realising until I quoted it that you had a shot with more body in, so that's why they're more of a headshot, sorry. Still, I got a few tats in though. Hopefully it shares some similarity to Taker.

I liked it Trell. It's easy to forget to comment on stuff when you're quoting bits and pieces all over the place. Nice work on the pencil style tache especially. Also I dug the pinstripes, although the texture looked a bit too bright and vibrant as in it took away from the figure work a bit. That's probably just me though, I often lower the trans maps to about 90-95% for a lot of clothing, although it might have just been a case of the lighting. No one commented on my Dread-in-progress either, lol.

I'd give ya tips but I suck as well. :p

As for add-ons, I went and DL'd every free pack I could find that I thought there was even a remote chance I'd ever use. I haven't bought any packs yet as I'm not really good enough nor catching on quick enough for me to warrant putting the kind of money I'd want/need to into it.

But what packs would really come down to your preference on what type of pictures you want to make. If you want to make wrestler picks there are some packs just mentioned on the last couple pages.

Xena Wrestling Pack (costs money I believe) was one which was linked to a few posts back by seb. There's some things on renderocity.com by DexPac as well (for free, though some links don't work, like the belt templates I think).

I haven't tried any of them yet though so I can't speak for there quality.

Personally, the add-on's I'd recommend...

Join DAZ Premium club for a month, it's not that expensive... but most importantly, you get a bunch of free downloads for joining including Michael 2 (the figure I use for 95% of my renders) as well as a an extra hairstyles, some decent props and some other junk that I had no use for, but what the heck (e.g. like a dinosaur). More importantly this also gives you a 30% discount on most of the store's content as well as a bunch of $1.99 items. You also get $5:00 vouchers every month, so try to join halfway into a month so you get two with plenty of time to think of what to use them on.

Then I got the Michael 2 bundle since it includes high res textures, clothing pack, long hair, wedge hair, a few character morphs and Millennium Beard (for facial hair). I opted to get the morphing flat top as well, since it's a good, versatile hairstyle to have.

Those along with the default poser stuff should get you started nicely enough. After that, check out the DAZ free section (there's a handy converter that adapts P4 hair to fit the Michael figure) and head to the renderosity free section as well for since there are several good downloads there.

If you want to get make full body renders for wrestlers, get the xena wrestling pack. If you're only really looking to make headshots, I wouldn't really bother since all you'd be missing out on is the mask and I guess the singlet. Don't get too caught up buying props and things, since several can be recreated with a bit of post-work in photoshop or paint shop pro anyway.

Note that post-work is your friend, espcially the smudge, lighten, darken and soften touch-up tools.

All I can really add is take a bit of time and go through the lighting section in the poser 7 user guide. Lighting can make a world of difference in how a render turns out.

One more thing. When you first start playing with morphs it can be tricky getting clothing to fit propper (my #1 frustation when I first started). Various tricks can be used to make things fit better from turning underlying body parts invisible (easiest if the part is completely covered), using poser magnets, and composite rendering. All I can say is play around and experiment.

The closest thing I can think of is that she looks simian, although, she is very good in the other ones.

I've rendered up a headshot and one slightly further back so there's a gloved hand in shot. I couldn't really get the pose I think you had in mind, but it just turned out a bit of a mess, especially when trying to squeeze it onto the bg. Anyway...

It would help if you were a bit more specific as to what the actual problem is. If it's properly installing the hair then download the .zip file then unzip it to the directory that you have you Daz content folder in. Generally it'll be C:\Program Files\DAZ\Studio\content. It's possible you have just the textures and not the model. Are you applying from the "Pose" category or the "Figures"/"Hair" categories? If your using something in the "Pose" category your trying to apply a matterial file. Could you take a screenshot of your Daz workspace?...this might help me figure it out

Anyway when you download items check to see if the are both textures and 3d models. A lot of people just make textures for other 3d models.

I liked how you turned Coyote Dynamite and Ernie Turner into THE ASSASSINS. That's two gimmicks for Coyote Dynamite to have :
1) Black Hat Richards & 2) Assassin 1.

I'm using them as The Assassins when they make their debut on February, 2010 - Week 1 on TV.

I also liked the Spiderman one, but couldn't you create the same Spiderman pic with the rest of his attire. Just a suggestion. Thank you for trying to create Sting. Knowing Sting who knows by 2010 what Crow makeup he would be wearing by then.

I need to ask, could anybody create The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal), like their WWE pics (red shoulderpads with the spikes) or The Hell Raisers (Hawk & Power Warrior Sasaki) like their New Japan pics (Hawk's would be the same, but Sasaki would have the green shoulderpads with the spikes). Or Goldust (without the wig, with the gold & black makeup & attire). If anybody could create them thanks. Those are good pics for real workers that are worth being created. I think so myself. I don't know what anyone else thinks of that? Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

I'm only really photo-editing existing pictures, so ones where masks need adding are a lot easier than ones where existing hair etc needs removing...which is why the Hell Monkey one might be trickier.

Since you can create two Cornellverse guys recreating the 2000-ish version of The Assassins, Here's two more ideas I had while I was at work today:

1) Arinori Inoguchi as a recreated 80's Japanese high-flier, TIGER MASK.
(Upper attire optional).

2) Either Cheetah Boy or Ash Campbell (Your choice) as the recreated 90's Flamboyant Golden wrestler in the Gold & Black (of course with short hair & upper gold & black attire, as well as Gold & black facepaint) GOLDUST.

What do you think guys, can they be created & if they can be, can someone create them pics. Let us know.

Hey man, once you go Cornell, you never go back. The greatest thing about the cornellverse to me is the freedom of creativity. With the real world mods and to a lesser extent with DOTT, I always feel restricted on what I can do. (even if it is me doing the restriction) The greatest thing about the cornellverse is that you can take it anywhere you want. You want a Tiger Mask or a Goldust like character, more power to you. Hey Dustin had to become Goldust to get out of his father's shadow, who says Ash Campbell doesn't have to do the same.

I'll perhaps look into it for you. Certainly the top one should be manageable. The 2nd one perhaps a bit trickier. I need to ask, if anyone could create these two Cornellverse workers into repackaged gimmicks:

1) ARINORI INOGUCHI - As the newest version of Tiger Mask (He would be called Tiger Mask).

2) Either CHEETAH BOY or ASH CAMPBELL (your choice) - As a new version of Goldust (he'll be called The Fabulous Goldust).

So what does anybody about this product, I've asked since today, but I got no response. In my opinion, these creations sound like good ideas to me, don't worry, i'll take care of the finishers. So what do you guys say to that.

Here's another idea for a creation, if anyone is interested in doing this pic. Create a Cornellverse-type worker that would look like Gene Simmons from the rock group, KISS (with the KISS makeup of course). I know that one would be hard to make. Think of The Demon from WCW, that's what Gene Simmons from KISS looked like back in the 1970's to early-80's, then late-90's to 2004. What do you think guys? What wrestler would fit the bill to play the Rock God. Hey, That would be a great name for him too "THE ROCK GOD". Not the entire name, but i'll come up with one in that area & i'll get back to you. Let me know about that idea. It would be a Rock Superstar or Gothic for the gimmick.

id like for him to have a toned but not too muscular body and to wear that hooded top like AJ styles wears to the ring. Other background information is that he is a former break dancer. Every thing else is up 2 u be a free as u like

I'll render this one, although I'm waiting on someone to pass me a hooded vest prop via AIM, so depending on when I get that depends on when I'll start.

Also someone mentioned an unmasked Skull DeBones. I'm working on it, but it'll probably be a while coming yet since I don't really get to do a ton of rendering until the weekend.

Not quite sure why you want to know this! :eek: lol

The default in Studio will have 'it' already in it's natural position but you can position 'it' in any way you want to. Also, I haven't tried it myself yet but in other software packages which use a real physics engine (for animations) 'it' "should" move around naturally too, taking wind direction/strength, gravity and other forces upon it into consideration.

And before anyone asks, no i'm not going to do an animation of the guy running down a street on a windy day! :p

Hmm all the various rendering software I've used each have their strengths and weaknesses technically. For example default Daz Studio doesn't support subsurface scattering or falloff for lighing while a progrogram like 3D Cararra does (as does Poser I think). Also if your good at Photoshop/Paint shop a lot of things can be done in post work (I'm rubish so I prefer to do as much as I can before the final render within the program).

I guess you could have heard of people setting up a scene in Poser and then importing into Carrara for final rendering (a program that costs twice as much as Poser). There are also those who set up a scene in Daz and then import into Bryce for final rendering (which I do from time to time).

For higher resolution pictures the program you want to use really depends on what your trying to do. For user pics in TEW I think just about anything will do because the final in game resolution is so small (150 x 150).

Not bad Panix, although the tats seem a little faint, but then I think it's kinda down to the artist anyway. I normally just make tats a bit more obvious, but yours look faded in a natural way. Anyway, good first attempt.

One thing however, do you have anti-alias selected in your render settings? It should get rid of the rough edges around your figure.

I have an idea for a tag team pic. Remember a tag team in New Japan years ago, it consisted of Road Warrior Hawk & Power Warrior Kensuke Sasaki as The Hell Raisers. Here's an idea for a tag team creation if anyone is up for the task. A new tag team called Power Maxx. The team consists of Clark Alexander (Ice Man C.A.) & Masa Yasujiro. Clark Alexander would be known as Iceman & Masa Yasujiro would be Dragonfire. They would have Spiked Shoulderpads on. Iceman would have blue shoulderpads with spikes, as well as he'll sport a mohawk & facepaint. Dragonfire would have green shoulderpads with spikes, as well as he'll also sport a mohawk & facepaint. So what do you folks think of that idea? Iceman & Dragonfire...POWER MAXX. Thank you if one of you guys create them. By creating them alone, they would look cool.

No problem. As I said, I don't think the resolution of my screen helps a ton. Maybe it'd be better if you took screen caps from the CAW screen (I'm assuming their taken from SVR 2007?) and zoom in on the face a bit. Either that or post some general description to go with each one. Looking through, I struggled picking out eye colours, whether some parts were facial hair, make up or just shadowing as well as whether certain wrestlers were scowling slightly or smiling. It might help others render them.

Nice work. I like Vince, although judging by his nipples it must be a little bit cold out. As with most of your work, the textures look really crisp, especially the jacket in this case. Very nice touch on the reddening and heavyness of the eyelids. The only suggestion I'd make is that if he's a stoner, you might want to dilate the pupils a bit more. ;)

i would like a guy who has a very muscular body kinda like Batista but has longish dark brown hair and a goatee. To be dressed in black with a black hat like the Undertaker wears. So it is basicall a cross between Batista and the Undetaker gimmick which makes The Wall in my game.

Took the advice of sebsplex and took some new pictures that might make things easier for people. Once again, sorry if the quality is poor and sorry for the amount. But as I stated earlier, this are for an expasion to the CornellVerse I plan on releasing and anyone who wants to work on them can feel free to take all the time they need. I tried to get better facial pics and on those that might need some extra detail I tried to explain. Thanks in advance to anyone who gives this a try, it is very much appreciated.

Does anyone think they can try their hand at making a poser for Panda Mask of the Cornellverse? I use him in my games and find it discouraging that there isn't a pick for him? Should be pretty easy crative wise as he's likely wearing a panda mask lol.

Well probably because the post has been there less than 24 hours and perhaps because it's about the 20th different render of something you've requested in this thread.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but if I have free time I usually scan the last 6-8 pages anyway for undone requests so people shouldn't keep bumping their requests or reposting them multiple times. Those that do will likely just get ignored as it's unfair to others, annoying and will just lead to that or further posts from that person being ignored.

I usually don't post on these boards, I just read the discussions and apply the good information to my TEW game. I just felt the desire to comment on this thread:

You guys doing renders are awesome.

I tried my hand at Poser briefly a few years ago when the "big thing" in E-feds was having a render done of your character and I was fairly terrible. Didn't have the patience for it.

So I truly admire the talent and dedication required to generate such high quality pictures, and specifically to create renders where (a lot of times ) the characters really come across through the screen; more so than just being a head in a box. Good stuff.

I'd also like to specifically compliment Msr. Fromage. I know he doesn't actually create renders so much as he edits them. But -Damn!- I love the masked charaters you create. I'm a huge fan of lucha and I never play the Mexican companies in TEW because the masks on many of the characters bother me. Your work is great.

And finally, I'd like to really say that I admire your collective patience. If I was one of you, I'd have completely lost my sh** by now. Requesting a dozen renders at once, creating characters in your head and then expecting them to be rendered immediatley because how "COOL!!1!roxorz" they are...some people are just incredibly inconsiderate and thickheaded and I'm amazed you all haven't just started a private message board to share your work with others who can actually contribute to the discussion.

So to sum up: great job. Thank you for creating many renders that have improved the enjoyment of my game. Keep doing what you do.
