No reason really, there wasn't a whole lot of chatting going on so I just threw it out there. I assumed that the people there felt that TPB is the best pro sim so I was curious as to if they thought that FBCB or TD was the better college sim

I loved Tournament Dreams. It has been a long time since I played it. The computer I had it on lost its hard drive and I havent played the game since and dont feel like paying another $30 for it. To bad I cant find the email that was sent as a receipt. Put it was a great game. I am think another collage basketball game is in order.

Matt you can contact Viatech and get the game again w/o a receipt.

They should be able to take care of you, if not write to tc@400softwarestudios.com and he should be able to get you playing again.

yeah i liked TDCB more. I was disappointed when they didn't come out with another patch to fix some of the bugs but it was a good game. I am waiting for GDS to come out with another one SOON!!!

FBCB was a better sim. TDCB had a better feel to it. Both were fun to play.

What's the difference between college and pro? (Sorry, I just play basketball but don't follow - Add to that I'm British...)

The college is like a feeder system for the pros. Its the level below professional

For the pro game, I favour the newest TPB over FBB
For college game, I highly prefer FBCB to TDCB.
...Guess I should actually buy TPB. I've been meaning to get around to it and start a dynasty on the forum ;)

I think fast break is the best college sim out there right now. I love TPB but I havent bought it yet. I am going to in a week or so. I am also still waiting just to hear if Grey Dog will make any kind of football sim this year. I would even take just a simple yes, no dates, nothing else, just this kids christmas wish that Grey dog makes a football sim this year. Oh please,oh please, let there be a Santa Claus!!!!

I used to be an avid fan of FBB, they had some good html output, but that just isn't enough when you compare the actual simulation to TPB. TPB is by far the best bball sim I've ever seen, hands down. Also, I honestly haven't tried any college sims. a football sim however that someone mentioned above would be a great addition to the lineup, and I am excited to see the new TPB of course.

i liked fbcb just because you can sim a season faster and import the draft class.
TDCB is better for actually playing.

I haven't played FBCB....really like (and still play) TDCB.
I did own an older version of FBB....(as well as Jumpshot BB)....I liked em both.
With that said....TPB 2005 has raised the bar for my expectations in a BB sim. Great job Gary.
everytime i try to play the demo it tells me dll file is missing.

which dll file is missing (BTW you should really post something like this in the tech support forum only)
Opps sorry im new to these forums, i cant remember its the dll file that help the loadup of the game at the start...
Gary Gorski

well that's not going to help much as it loads a number of dll files - load it up and write down the file name and post it
FBCB is *very* addicting, it doesn't have the pretty interface but I love playing it. I tried TDCB and it just didn't engage me at all, felt disconnected from everything.
