Public Beta / Trial

What are the details of the public/trial version that's being released on the 4th? Is there a play limit a la a demo, does it expire on the 11th, is it open to everyone? Will it utilize the entire character database? Will it have all the features of the game?

THESE ARE THINGS I NEED TO KNOW! :D

I'm assuming it will be full database and one month in game limit as most of TEW/WMMA games have been. It utilizes the full database so users can point out errors and such that were missed in development and other testing.

Yeah, every single feature is unlocked. It's the real actual game, only thing is that you can only play a month of it.

Am I making this up, or was the previous WMMA game a 3 month demo? That's what my memory is saying, but then I am reaching the ripe old age of 21 soon so it could be on it's way out :D

It was certainly 1 month when I played it, unless they changed it up in the future. I also think 2-3 months is better so you get to see how some of the AI orgs work.

Ah wait, it says six weeks on the trial version I just brought up on my desktop. I guess we all lose. ;)

WMMA1 gave you three months, I guess WMMA2 is 6 weeks like Pogo said.

So I was right if referring to wmma 1....we're all wrong if referring to wmma 2...and you guys are probably right about wmma 3 if the amount of time continues to go down per version :P

1 or 3, it makes no difference. Personally I'd like 1 month. There's no sense in continuing if it will and 2 months later anyway. Just to experiment with the match engine and getting to know the db.
