Contract lenght to payment relation

Hi, I recently tried to offer a young prospect an amazing long term contract worth 8k a fight for 8 fights. Now he declined for some reason and wanted a 4 fight contract, but still expected to be paid 8k a fight, this seems kinda illogical, since the longer a contract is the more the fighter should get.

Maybe, but the game sees the offer as $x per fight. So if you offer him less fights for less money he will feel you are ripping him off as just a minute ago you were offering him more.

yea, when you offer a money amount they expect you to offer him that much regardless of how many fights are in the contract
