Is this game being tested on Vista? Will it work better than TEW on Vista?

It has been tested on Vista, but all the testers who use Vista can also get TEW to work without any issues anyway (proving that "TEW doesn't work on Vista" is BS, it doesn't work on some Vista set-ups). That said, the game is far less memory intensive than TEW and so should be easier to run. As always, we recommend that you try before you buy.

Apparently one of the testers does have Vista issues when running TEW but not WMMA, so it can be assumed that some people who can't get TEW to run stably may have greater success with WMMA.

Sorry to say Adam, but it's not BS like you say, and IF it works on SOME set-ups, just please let us know what to do to fix it, because it's pretty lame rebooting every 15mins just for TEW...

Anyway, awesome news if WMMA/Vista compatibilty has been tested, but I'd purchase only if I see Vista clearly listed as an operating OS for WMMA just in case. (I spent 35£ on TEW07 and pretty much never went into more than 2 months "in-game")

1: Yes, it is BS - people have said it doesn't work at all on Vista, and that is incorrect. Provably so.

2: Your post lacks logic. I said it works on SOME set ups, not that it can work on ALL. I don't know why it works on some and not others, or if there is a "fix".

I'm trying to figure out the logic behind choosing only beta testers who had tew work perfectly on vista.....one would think you would want to test it on machines that did not run tew correctly to make sure it works. Anyway, I think the question is whether Grey Dog believes the game will work on enough vista machines to add vista to the supported operating systems in the system reqs.

Don't get me wrong, I'll likely buy this whether it works well on vista or not since I set up a dual boot just to play tew but I'm sure potential buyers would like to have a little more confidence
