I was just wondering if a fighters skills will diminish as they get closer to retirement, or will they stay strong until they leave?
For example, Royce Gracie today is not as good as Royce Gracie in 1993.
Will they get weaker as they get older?

Correction, Royce is just one-dimensional and always has been, thats why he isnt as good today.

Yeah ok, so it was a bad example :)
But you get my drift, are they gunna get worse as they get older, as most of them do in real life?

Yes. WMMA is part simulator, it wouldn't make sense if fighters ignored the ageing process.

Randy just gets matched well :p I think if Randy comes back and fights nog in february, we will see couture age practically overnight.

Randy is the man =]
Would I be wrong in saying he's the face of MMA in America right now?

I don't think Randy would be able to take Nog at any age though

As someone who has a passing interest in MMA but isn't a hardcore fan, I wouldn't say Couture was the 'face of MMA' in America.
I mean, he's a recognisable name, for sure. But 'the face of MMA' would indicate one of the first people you think of when you think of the sport.
For me, that's Ken Shamrock, Chuck Liddell, or Tito Ortiz. I guess that's just opinion though.

I disagree, but keep your fingers crossed and we might find out.
