Does anyone else keep getting a lot of fighters missing weight? I'm not sure if this should be part of the tech support area or not, but I do seem to get at least 1 guy miss weight every show. I had 2 title fights booked for 2 months and neither were fought for the title due to 1 or the other fighter making weight.
I am using the December 17th patch

Just out of interest, what mod are you using?

Moved to General Discussions.
Making weight is governed by the Weight Cutting stat, Walking Weight and Target Weight; if you are getting lots of missed weights then the database you are using probably has a combination of having the former too low and too big of a difference between the latter two.

Ah right. I'm using JT Money's Real World MOD. My mistake.

That means the mod isnt very accurate. Either the fighters need to be at a lower walking around weight or need to have a higher stat for cutting weight.
Also, if it keeps happening just move them up in weight class. Jon Jones for example has always said he will one day move to heavyweight.

John Rivero didn't make weight for four straight fights so I just ended up boosting his weight cutting skill.
Making him have a huge walking around weight coupled with bad weight cutting skill seems an odd choice for the default data, especially since the AI companies never makes someone go up in weight if they keep missing.

I was thinking about just moving some of the guys up in weight, but 2 out of 3 title matches i've had where someone has failed to make weight, it's been the champion. Would there be any repercussions if i stripped the fighter of their title and then moved them up in weight?

I don't there are any negative in game effects. If you are trying to keep your booking "realistic" you could also book it as a super fight so he dropped the belt to go up, kinda how GSP has said if he fought Anderson he would most likely be going up to 185 for good (and the UFC would have to vacate his title)

So far after 20+ events only one of my fighters missed weight (Le Toussier after I made himn move to MW, but then I move him back to LHW), so I dont have the problem.
But John Rivero missed weigh like 4 times before GAMMA finally moved him to HW.

had exactly the same issue here... In Rivero's last 5 fights he has dropped down to 215 every time and has been unable to get to the 205 limit.. would be great to see the AI put them in a higher weight division..
