After this release have you given any thought to doing a Wrestling Spirit style in your MMA world?

I know I would love to see that.

I can't see a game like that going too well.

Most MMA'ers only fight 50 - 60 times in a career. I'll do that in a weekend on WreSpi. :x

That's also David Terrell and Travis Fulton on two extremes.

You could also make training a lot more important and do some sparring matches.

I can see the concept working if you run a fight team instead of a company. You could control the moves for a group of fighters. Might add longevity.

Somehow i do not think the Wrespi idea will come back. I think this is the replacement, but i am not the person that should be answering this one

i was wondering this the other day too, i think it could work. So what if the carrers are shorter. It just means you can play a wider variety of game faster, haha.

This is the first and may be the only time I say this to you but I agree completely.


I think WreSpi was just to intimidating for people. I have alot of friends who just watch WWE and they got right into TEW but they hated WreSpi...but then again they don't like ROH and CZW so what do they know? :D

I believe there is a boxing sim somewhere where you run a stable of fighters....I guess it could work, but not for a single fighter.

That said, MMA fighters dont have 'movesets' as such....so I dont know how much depth there could be.

Personally, I don't see a Wrespi version working on a single fighter level.

Running a team though, I think that would be interesting.

that is actually what I mean. Running a stable of fighters. Like you create a fighting school. That would be pretty interesting.

Adam previously said that it MMA doesn't convert well into a text based fighting system as it is more about positioning

An MMA game wouldn't work as well. Mismatches end too fast.

There was a local card where none of the fights went over 1 round.

Come to think of it, the final PRIDE card ended up that way too if I remember correctly.

Very true. I don't want to pay 34.95 for that kinda reality tho.
