Homegrown Stars

I'm sorry I did not see this in the help file. The Homegrown Stars I'm assuming is exactly as it sounds, taking a fighter with a 0-0 record and building them up. Is there any other criteria?

It's actually having a fighter from the same area as the company with equal to or more than the company's popularity, who also must not be coming off a loss.

Essentially, having a successful star that your home audience can root for.

It should be noted you do not have to worry about this until National level.

you dont need to groom them from 0-0 record. i hired a fighter from another fed with higher popularity level in home area than my company (stole from GAMMA) and he went straight into home grown star.

the person only needs to be from your region, and have a higher popularity.

and also needs to have a winning record and/or winning streak.

I think it's a bit of a misnomer, since they aren't "homegrown", they're just from "home", but it doesn't make much difference :D
