Your Favorite Event Names?

Most of mine are rip-offs from song or movie titles- so far the only event I've named for the main event was GAMMA 50: Foster vs. Hughes. Some of my other favorites though:

Brawlapalooza
Escape From L.A. (I'll never forget when I got "Napalm" Kurt Russell as a regen of Tobias Goulet [Who kind of resembles Russell] in WMMA 2. He was such a can but I tried to push him anyway.)
Setting You Up The Bomb
Long Live The King?

But I have tried names. Like my tournament for my heavyweights was called "Battle of the Beasts" Then I had a generic one called "Rampage" and one after a song "Highway to Hell"

I guess as long as the rounds are 1 x 60, it fits! :D I also try to have some sort of creative tie-in to the nickname or location when I can manage it- Escape From L.A. was of course held in California, and Long Live the King? was a reference to "The King of Ground n' Pound" James Foster's 1st title defense.

I always use Red, White and Bruised for one of my July cards and I also steal the Megadeth song Symphony of Destruction for an event.

I think I took it from the EWR suggestion list. Same with Scars & Stripes.

I usually do the same as Huntman, but in the past I've used actual titles. Here are some that I can remember:

Weight of the World (When I have two fighters from different countries fighting in main event)
Standing on the Mountain Top
Absolute Power
Heaven's On Fire
No More Pain
American Dreamin'
Crossroads (When I have an older fighter looking for a win)
Takeover
Born to Live
Buck the World

Case Dismissed!
Last Call (In a headliner's last fight before retirement)

I used to use the name March Badness for a big PPV, kinda like my game's Wrestlemania. I try not to come up with really corny names, and usually stick to the main event names.

I just use whatever comes to my mind or the name of the song I'm listening at time. Good examples from my UFC save are;

UFC 64: It's a Jersey Thing!
UFC 49: Eternal Flame
UFC 46: Dawn of Victory

UFC 21: Ryland Effect

the name of the song I'm listening at time.

I use to do that, then I switched over to the album name, mainly because I'd get some interesting results from songs...

TOP: The Lady is a Tramp
TOP: Ziggy Stardust
TOP: The Battle of Evermore

Then albums got weird and I just went back to numbering.

Also I held a Light Heavyweight tournament and since they aren't as big as the Heavyweights. I called it "Monsters of the Ring"

Honestly, I don't really name my events. They're all just numbered. I am 1 year and 7 months into my current game, and I am up to 12 as my most recent. I also have a TV Show that I run some months instead of PPVs, or I run both in one month.

I could start naming them by the main event, though....
