Gimmick Change Question

I'm curious I have a wrestler sitting out for 3 months because of a gimmick change. It says to keep him off screen for that time. However, can I still use him in angles where it says he would be "off screen"? Please help.

No. Any sort of appearance, be it dark, off-screen, non-televised show or whatever will trigger the gimmick change, and cause it to go down badly.

The one case I'm not certain about is house shows, if you're that far along.

Oh, and if they're getting antsy about not being used, stick them on a spare brand that has no shows :p

No.

The offscreen requirement is so the fans FORGET what the worker's gimmick was previously. The more drastic the change, the more time required for the fans to forget it. Nick Dinsmore would need 6 months or more offscreen to dump the Eugene schtick. Using him in angles isn't going to help people forget him, even if he never appears onscreen (so no one can refer to Eugene either).
