I'm going to be working on some fighters, this is a database in progress.

I'm can't guarantee that they'll be perfectly accurate, but I don't see much work getting done right now, so I figure I might as well do something. :)

I'll keep updating this list as I complete fighters, and soon I will upload the data set so you guys can import them and edit them as you see fit. At the very worst, this will give you guys a base of each guy to edit on, and even if you don't like the stats, you'll at least have all of the basic information filled in.

Just to let you guys know, I was extremely happy with the way the test fights went on. The sims seemed good! Let me know if you sim any fights and how the results came out.

I had Vera/Sylvia go to a boring 3 round clinchfest, Cro Cop KO Mir in Rnd 1 with a high kick, Nog sub Lesnar, and Leben KO Martin in RND 2, among other results. Things seem surprisingly accurate!

No problem, it's helpful to me, too, because it gives me a reason to run things through the engine a bunch of times and try to concoct some fair stats.

I rated it in a relatively mediocre fashion, purely from what I've seen and from the fact that many believe he has what's called an "honorary blackbelt". But like I said, this is an open source database for now, so you're welcome to make any changes that you want.

I'm waiting to purchase the game within the next day or so, and when I do I'm going to add significantly to the database.

I appreciate the feedback, and like I said before, I'd really appreciate it if some of you guys would run test cards and everything to make sure the data is up to snuff. No sense in me working on it, if nobody's going to get any use out of the fighters due to inaccuracy.

That'd be a great idea! Lets all contribute, maybe we can get something that works relatively well to play around with for a while. I'm uploading my updated data, now.

Very nice, thanks! Just doing a little touch up work, right now, but they look pretty good and consistent with my opinions here. One thing I'd appreciate, would be if you would do stats in increments of 5s and 0s. It would make things a little simper to watch progressions, etc, and also it's quicker and easier on the eyes.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I added about 40 more fighters, but I'm out of town and I won't be able to update them until tommorow. They're almost all from UFC, with some freelancers and EliteXC guys, too. If anybody wants to add to the mod right now, the best bet would be to work on EliteXC, Strike Force, and K-1 Hero's fighters so you don't wind up wasting time on UFC guys that are already done.

You guys will be extremely pleased with my next update. I added a bunch of sponsors, all the titles, relationships, etc. It's come a long way already.

Also, I'm taking requests.. if you have any specific fighters you need, I can do them late tonight or tommorow.

Thanks! I've got Tank, Kerr, Coleman, and Giant Silva, but the rest will be useful. They'll be included in the next update, which like I said will come later today or tommorow.

If you can work on some others, that'd be cool, too. If you have time, we could use Don Frye, Dan Severn, Jeremy Horn and some other older guys who still compete.

Also, all EliteXC and Strike Force are needed except Nick Diaz, KJ Noons, Frank Shamrock, and Phil Baroni.

Everybody contributing should keep in mind not to overpower your workers. Don't think of this like a grade in school where a 50 would be a pitiful failure, this is much different. 95 is almost unheard of, 75 to 80 is absolutely fantastic, 50 is decent, a 10 to 20 is competely awful. This is just important stuff to remember, because everything will take longer if I have to go through and do major re-edits.

the only fighter who i think is off a little is shogun , yeah he looked bad against forrest griffin but if you watch his pride fights he was one of the best even winning the middleweight gp. his submissions could be rasied as he has a genuine black belt and his punch,kicks,knees up to you but i think if that was corrected it would be a perfect set of data for the ufc

I've watched a lot of Shogun fights, but I agree with you, I was definitely a little hard on him. I'll fix it up and include your guys, then we've got another post ahead!

Great! I've got another 10 or so ready to upload as we speak, but I'm gonna do a bunch more today before I update it.

EDIT: Just keep in mind, guys, sometimes working on fighters takes a little longer for me because I typically don't use templates, I like to do them by hand. So sometimes I have to watch a fight here and there in between to get a better feel for a guy's skills in certain areas.
