The Beginning
My name is Calvin Thomure, I have been a big MMA fan since the start of GAMMA and Alpha- 1. I just love watching the competition. Now that I am old enough to run a promotion for my self, being one of the biggest names in the Texas region thanks to my dad, he owns almost all the oil companies in Texas. I figured it wouldn't be hard to get into the business with gamma or something you know, maybe as a assistant booker or something. I put my application in at all of the companies, hell i even put on in at Alpha-1 and BCF. I dont mind moving to do what I love. Anyways, I waited a few weeks and then finally got some mail. GAMMA sent me a letter declining my proposition, as the days went my i got more rejection letters. Finally as the last letter came i was really fed up. I knew there was only one thing I could do... Ask my dad for some money and start from the bottom up. Hopefully he will give me some money.

Day 2
Ok so I was way too excited to wait for my dad to get home to ask him for the money, so I picked up my keys off of the counter, grabbed my sunglasses, and shot out the door. 30 minutes later I arrive at my dads main headquarters. I entered the lobby of the building and told the secretary that I was Mr. Thomure's son. She let me come in as he was meeting free at the time.

Calvin: Hey dad, what going on?

Bill: Not much my man, what bring you here? did you find a job yet?

Calvin: Actually thats what I came to talk to you about, You remember how I wanted to run/booker for a MMA promotion?

Bill: Son when are you gonna give up on that dream? Listen why dont you come here and work for me?

Calvin: Dad come on.. Just hear me out. I figured you have like pretty much an unlimited amount of money, And since I have no name in the MMA business, I could just start my own promotion? You would be the owner, and I would be the president? And better yet pops... If I screw up and it doesn't work, I will come work for you and follow in your footsteps.

Bill: Allright you have yourself a deal.. I will furnish you with some money, you set this thing up, and if it doesn't work, your coming to work the very next day as my vice president. I don't care what ya do son, I just want you to do something, so make me proud boy.

I jumped up in joy and gave my dad a huge hug.. I raced out the door with the check and started to put things togeather. first off I went to ebay and bidded on a six sided ring w/ a cage. I was pretty pumped about that, nothing better than some good ol cage fighting. I was going to have to find some fighters as well. Also the last thing I did for today is promote the hell out of the company on blurcat, and found some more business associates. Joseph Steven was the first one, he was a former boxing promoter, and was interested in getting into the MMA scene. He had some money he was willing to put in, and he had a good business sense. The next guy was DL Freeman, a play by play announcer that had a real good resume in the MMA scene.
