I was thinking of starting a new team with a Shaolin monk gimmick. I'm using real world data, but i'm looking for suggestions for workers Real or CVerse, preferrably with pics that fit the look. This may be difficult, I'm not sure there are many chinese workers available.

Well, I don't know I'd consider David Carradine exactly Chinese looking either and yet he starred in Kung Fu. The show that put Shaolin on the map for much of America.

If you're using TZone, see if it still has Vansack Acid. He'd fit the roll.

You said you were using the real mod...?

I don't know which promotion you are but if you could get your hands on James Yang and re-package him, his in ring work may fit.

Or else maybe Sonny Siaki.

Jinsei Shinzaki, while Japanese, may fit that role.

All great suggestions so far. I like the thought of Siaki / Yang as a team. Trick would be trying to get them signed, it may take a while. I'm not against importing workers from any other mod including CV. So keep the suggestions coming. This forum is great.

Thanks yall

Hmmmmmm.......The Flying Elvises go Kung Fu. I kinda like this idea too.

This concept reminds me of Shaolin Soccer. Is that the inspiration source?

How about Sabu? He's been a Michigan-born Arabian for all his career, so why not a change to a Shaolin? Or bring back Muhammed Hassan.

Um, because, "Shaolin" has nothing to do with anything from Arabia.

Not exactly sure the size of your fed or what your finances look like but IMO Frankie Kaz and Low Ki would be perfect for that role.

Kaz could easily fill a role as a shaolin master while Ki could definitely pull of the flashier, more agile student role.

I could even see a dramatic storyline where the student eventually turns on the master in a turn to evil sort of manner.

in fact - I will now steal this idea for a future storyline in my own game.:D

Kind of my point... Sabu, in TEW terms, is long overdue a gimmick change ;)
