Any of you have a game going as Gamma? If so what have you found to be a good number of fighters per weight class?

I've played 2 years and 8 months as GAMMA now, and I've been trying to keep 28~ fighters per weight class, cutting people that don't perform or get 2-3 losses in a row. I don't know if it's a good amount, I am having headaches keeping track of all the fighters and who should fight who. If anyone else wants to contribute, I am also very interested in this subject, and also how do you people keep track of things as far as putting together fights for all of your fighters.

Agree 100%. I am really enjoying the game but am having a hard time keeping it all straight also. Not a game problem more of a "little mind" problem on my part. That's why I asked. I was wondering if I just had too many people.

I've acutaly had around 50 guys in each weight class for awhile now. I dont use them all, in fact I just found a guy I hadn't used in two years, but I like to keep alot of cans aroudn for a star to beat up so he can get back on track after a tough loss, or to build up a prospect and groom him along.

I've been playing as GAMMA for the most part. I have added a Featherweight as well. I have around 25-35 fighters in each weight class. Somewhere between 5-10 of those are pure cans, though. Guys who are not expected to grab wins at all. Probably another 2-4 are prospects - guys who might climb the rankings a bit due to some easy wins (hence the cans) but are not ready yet to fight real competition.

I try to keep it at 25 per weight division. It seems to work, sometimes if a big name fighter from another promotion is out there I will go for them so I could possibly end up with the max of 27 per divison.

The thing that sucks for me is I have a problem cutting people (I am the same way in TEW). Therefore, people like Ashley Ballard stay on my roster for longer times than they really should (he lost six in a row before I cut him).

I'm a bit ridiculous in this regard. I think as it stands I have near 50 in each division, which includes an added Featherweight class but I also have 18 fights per card (still turning a hefty profit).

For some odd reason, I have a hard time keeping track of more than five divisions. Which is why I played as SIGMA for a bit and stopped playing.

Clearly a lack of dedication on your part ;)

I keep a spreadsheet: one column per month, green for a win, red for a loss, grey for time out. Fighters fight others with same momentum - find it easiest that way...
