Touring?

Does touring make a difference at all? Right now I'm running GAMMA and can only hold events in the US. Is there a difference, other than gate sales, in holding an event in Las Vegas vs Connecticut? Would Connecticut's prestige go up at all?

Yeah, I don't really understand why you'd want to select another venue other than the one that'll net you the most money. Which makes all the extra regions in the game kind of pointless.

I'd imagine there is some kind of a benefit that if you put on good shows in those areas, you might gain new fans to your shows in the future. Of course that happens when you gain popularity, but I do believe there could be something along those lines. I don't have any definite information, though.

I've played all three versions of the game extensively and never noticed anything changing within the regions except the fact that they get regulated. Would be nice to have something where you can push for states to get regulated at the cost of your reputation hurting from a negative result.

In the first game you had to bulid up your company on a state to state basis. And if you did not have PPV or TV you had to break into new states in order to gain popularity. With all that said, I am not sure what happens in WMMA 2 or 3. I still hold events outside of Nevada (usually just my TV shows).
