If the GDS-verse sign up thread is anything to go by then it would need a lot of balancing just to be reasonably playable. Of course, I have every faith that it will turn out to be great but... do we really need multiple unreal mods? Outside of the Cornellverse, of course. :)

Well the thing with the Cverse is that I feel like I know the guys and even know a lot of the future workers......

So new fake Universe would be all new and well new...

Assuming we get some more NWA-Organization friendly features and some more historical-friendlyness in general I would totally love a fictional universe set in the 1970's with an NWA feel to it. It would be a great alternative to the Cornellverse which never really appealed to me.

Not sure what you mean but Adam can't do any real world scenarios. Which is why he turned to the Cverse in the first place(I think). Maybe I misunderstood and you mean fictional 70's.

Fictional - As in not real. As in made up from his own Imagination (or those of his team).

bleh I missed that you said fictional:o . Anyway have you tried out the 70's mod. I think it's '75.

If any of these features make the new game, it could make for some fun and interesting mods to the already outstanding C-Verse 1975 mod (could do wonders for the AICW promotion)

No worries :) Tried the 75 mod, and it almost got me hooked, but it really lacks a NWA style organization analogue. Personal opinion so YMMV ofcourse.

I think a mod based around the GDS forums would be great, but scary as in the fact that some people would put me in a joker costume more than likely....

This would be fun to write, I think....

It took me so long to get into the C-Verse, another fictional universe would be... meh to me. It would be cool if some of the more prominant guys on these forums were used as inspiration on new C-Verse workers, but with the legal issues it could be tricky... Not that I'd sue, if you were to... If you wanted... No? Okay then.

I don't see how that would work though. A guy based on me for example would be awfully old at 36 to be just starting a career. And would be nowhere near capable of the style I'd have wanted to train in had I when I was young enough. I'd have wanted to be an 80's speedster with some solid technical merit. Like say a Brian Pillman or an Owen Hart. To be starting off that way now, my alter ego would be pushing retirement age before he got the necessarily skills. Not to mention his joints might not allow some of the speedy stuff. Now if Adam wanted to use that style info and make a young rookie like that because it was something a regular like myself was into, that I could possibly see.

Hence the terms "some of" and "inspiration". :)

I wasn't thinking that they would necessarily be brand new workers, starting off their careers in 2008 but now, thinking in terms of the chronology, they might have to be.

'twas just an idle musing.

Doubt many of the prominant guys would sue. I'd bet most would be honored to be part of the C-Verse.

I'd sue him for every penny! I'm still building my case against him for using my name in TEW '07.... ;)
