There is a common threat to everyone... Those that are that threat know WHO they are....

Think of it like this...

There is a global war... One country wants global domination... That country is really bad.

Lots of other's just want a piece here or there, and can use common goals within' to help each other out if they desire...

All the while the "global domination" is still a threat.

Eliminate your "small" goals, and conquor the overall threat first.

We can weed through the little stuff after the biggest threat is out of the picture.

What I'm trying to tell you, is you keep trying to make everyone believe that this is so much different... As is MJD. I can understand MJD, because it's his baby, and he wants us to enjoy it the way he intends it to be (Chaotic).

Really, the closest thing to compare it to is DOTT, and we are all fresh off that one, was only the SW game after it.... I'm sure everyone understands the ideals behind "Warring Families". The biggest difference is the amount of "mason/family" groups in here compared to their, and the fact they are probably mostly completed outside of a couple of people that are "lost" or something... needing to find or be found by the group they belong to.

Teams A, and B can all be against X and Y (A vs X, B vs Y), however they all better watch out for "M" and possibly "S", as they might not care for any of them... MEanwhile the groups A, B, E, and F might have the allignmenat of "C" in unity, while only "Z" backs the "M" and "S", and don't really care for anyone but "Z". Doesn't mean this is exact or even close to how it works.. just my example is all.

Well then there ya go. Thats the main thing I've been trying to point out. As to how you figure the real ones from the fakers.. well you probably know alot more about that then I do.

The little mini groups.. like my own.. needed this to come out. We absolutely had to get it out there for discussion. Cuz this Mafia vs Town crap would kill us during the day. Take some uninformed players and add the bad guys who know the real deal.. and they would just feed us up to be lynched from here till the end of the friggin game.

Thats why i said my unlynchability gave me a platform to do what i did. Because now maybe peeps in the smaller groups can have a chance, rather than just being crushed.

That's not such a bad idea either. I could see Pepe working that way. Offended that the game has taken out its great lover and avenging himself by taking the hammer vote with him. Would definitely fit Pepe's romantic sensibilities.

As far as the baddies go, recall the mentions of a desire for the Cold Warriors to hook up with the DoomBringers. Those are two groups that are not opposed to ech other, and we know Cold Warriors had a framer, and we know DoomBringers seem to consist mainly of villains.

I wouldn't be surprised if their win conditions require both groups combining in some manner. If they had the same win condition (i.e. conquer toon town) then they would also be competing against one another.

Another option is that DoomBringers want to kill assorted "hero" types toons, and Cold Warriors want to take over the twon, but some hero toons stand in their way. This would make the goals of both groups compatible.

As for the Wabbit Hunters... I dunno, but considering the voting on Aussie, I would guess that Wiley, at least, isn't involved in Cold or Doom plans.

But the night phases are more talkative than normal. And you guys do post A LOT. I'll do my best to try and catch up, but it'll have to wait til tomorrow. Which is why I ignored it the other times.

I'm satisfied, and I will tell you something about me posting (as I'm sure other's do as well). It's a part of the strategy to win, to me.

If something is said, and I think it's something that the bad guys (in this game) could find usefull, I will find ways to skip by it as fast as possible. For example... If you give something away about yourself or your group... and I catch it, or I at least think I caught something. I automatically feel that if someone else happens to log on at that time (bad guy wise), they will easily spot it. So I try to skip on past it as fast as possible, and therefore in my mind, "Hide it" from them.

For example, if Player "A" has eluded to them being a "Multivoter" or "investigator", I will hide that with as much "Other" thoughts as possible. This way it makes it harder (again, in my mind) for the bad guys to spot what I just spotted.

I think I explained this before, a while ago though, but just in case you missed it, I think you should understand that.

If your town, and your having a hard time keeping up, I am truly sorry for adding to that. However, I am not sorry for those that are not town, and just skim by, and hopefully skim past the parts I found incredibly insightfull.

For the record... There is over half a dozen abilities I've spotted in the threat (not the write-up). Weather or not good or bad, I don't know for sure yet. I hardly ever call "abilities" out when trying to find out the answer. Also.. I have purposely made people look bad in order to keep them "looking" suspicious, even though I myself may not find them as such.

I hate explaining all this at night time, but I don't think there is anything anyone can do about it but go back and "reread" everything to figure out anything at all... which is next to impossible at this point I think. It would be impossible to decipher between things anyways, as only the people I want to know would know for sure.

And Chris... I kinda figured a lot of what you said about your style. It makes sense, it's just that IMO it works against the town under normal circumstances. Afterall, only 1 scum needs to see something for a group of maybe 6 to know about it... while 1 townie needs to see it for 1 townie to know it. Personally, I don't think it works but obviously it works in some ways because people definitely miss things out and end up being pointed in the wrong direction.

I wonder what info you'll reveal for us next day phase, I'm looking forward to that. And I'm feeling significantly less ill today too. Headaches seem to be mostly gone, always a good sign. Even so... still gonna be away from the computer for most of today. Pre-cautionary measure. Chris, I hope your notes are good cos mine are suffering. You've worked out 6 abilities? He's stopping the individual townie from noticing the important info, but surely the fact that DJ has it is enough. There aren't too many guys who can muster up that level of trustworthiness, but by posting a ton, people tend to flock to him.

The more I think about it, the DJ/Anti mass posting does irritate me, but they tend to post when I'm at work, and if they didn't I'd be pretty lonely.

Just a quick note, because it will inevitably come up. I simply forgot about my vote on Anti because that wasn't a vote I was serious about. It was part of an experiment, hell Anti was begging people to vote for him.

It's only by technicality that I didn't officially vote against The Aussie. So before anyone comes along and says "you didn't vote for either scum", you'd be barking up the wrong tree (and then I'd tell you to go see WB, he's looking for a dog).

I'm glad the rest of the populous finally came around to deciding to do what we're here to do (well the good guys of us anyway) - lynch scum. And again, we didn't even need as many of us as we had, just the mods weren't around at the time of the hammer.

I suspect The Aussie was telling the truth - Da Wabbit Hunters sound like a group of nemeses, each looking to kill one character to win the game. I think we can assume that Elmer (definitely), Yosemite Sam (maybe, if Bugs is doubled up on), Marvin the Martian (again, maybe) and Sylvester (almost definitely) are in. Did Porky Pig have any enemies?

I so want Droopy to be in, now I think of it, but his only 'enemy' I remember was a big wolf...

Again, the village had killed someone they were sure was a bad guy. Well, some thought that. There were plenty of people upset with the outcome, and just as many who didn't care! Once again, the night would be restless...

"But, last night, you shot the Laser, and it was like BOOM, and they were like UGH! But they didn't get all melty like you said..."

Outside their usual post in the forest, the pair saw 2 others chatting. The smaller one of the stalkers stepped on branch, making a loud CRACK!

"What was that?" One of the second pair stepped over to the bushes, just as the first pair were escaping. "I knew it! I knew you'd be here! You won't get away with this!"

The one with the Laser aimed at their original target, the second member of the other party. The gun misfired, and caused nothing but a loud fizzing noise...

The one on the hill was watching again, through the same binoculars as the night before. She stared at a different location tonight.

She saw 2 leave early in the night, and a few hours later, saw the same 2 return, clearly ruffled.

Another group lucked out again. The group that hid out in the clock tower the prior night were on the move again. They relocated to a cave outside of the village during twilight, and were safe once more. They didn't see from their location, but 3 killers waited for them at the empty clock tower, unknowing of the others and that their targets have moved on...

A well known figure walked the dark roads of the village freely, as he was on his way to check the train schedules... He wanted to see when the next train to Albuquerque headed out... He was ignorant of the fact that a villain prowled him, waiting for a chance. Once the hero made his way up on to the platform to read the departure times, the one who followed caught him in a big sack and dragged him up the tracks to an isolated area. He took him prey out of the sack, and immediately tied him to the tracks!

"Hey, now... Can't we all be friends?"

"He he he!"

"Can't I have one last request? My back is awfully itchy... Would you mind?"

"Hmmm... Sure..."

The villain untied his target, and the former captive turned the tables, tying his attacker down!

You know, I find it interesting that Snidely was classified as a Cold Warrior. He really wasn't all that political. He was more a parody of your classic melodrama villian. Seeing as he was though, this leads me to wonder about villians like Riffraff and Simon Bar Sinister from Underdog. If Snidley can be Cold Warrior aligned these guys could too. And seeing as their was a live action version of Underdog making the theatrical rounds while MJ was concieving this game, I wouldn't be surprised any more if they were part of this faction.

I don't know the series but that would mean the whose family is involved as well, if the dog is involved. If you say there are 10 groups, then this theory seems a bit absurd. You could have the Simpsons with 5 members, Scooby Doo with 5 or 6, Classic Toons with 5....add the claims up to that and you'd have to have 50 players to have a balanced game.

I know that, and because you apparantly have no abilities to actually kill at night, I can see you two as being helpful for now.

However, I for one will become increasingly distrustful of you as the game wears on, just because I know what my strategy would be if I were in your shoes right now.

I would wait it out, delay my lynching as long as I could and at the first sign that things were even numbered between bad guys and pro-townies I'd turn everyone. Maybe you wouldn't but I for one don't trust it.

I believe the write-up suggested that it was the same person targeted as last night, if I read it correctly. In that case, one (?) of them was trying to get lucky again, the others (or other? Too tired to check) were just chancing their luck... It's remarkable if everyone went after the same person, though - maybe more than one person was protected last night? The fountain seems to be the central hub for the town, where people default to if location isn't too important...

Does that sound plausible?

I didn't even fully know the site mechanics. I didn't know I couldn't cut and paste a bolded vote into my post and have it show bold for me as well. I didn't know you could track people's movement on the site with the profile links at the bottom. Or how easily I could look up all your posts in this thread if I had reason to suspect you.

A noob's head is going to be buzzing. And if he's smart a la Thomnipotent he's going to be laying back trying to take in as much as possible. Trying to absorb game mechanics and hoping he doesn't do something so obvious it gets him dead. Especially if he's a lone gun SK and doesn't have the support of a group to help him. So there's no telling what he does and doesn't understand strategy wise. I'm getting more and more comfortable with the game each time I play but I still myself lower intermediate at best.

Plenty of people saying they're town (myself included) but no one outright claiming a town character.

What 2 - Fudd and Sylvester? Why would anyone want to claim them? I hardly understand why you want to claim, but now you have anyone would have to be blind and retarded to claim either one - 1. because you are him, and 2. because you obviously know who the other guy is, as well as he does.

Ok, so first of all (on other business) Vote: Antithesis just to see where that goes. I don't even think he's all too scummy, just want to check it out.

So, that laser isn't always working even at half capacity? Looks to me like it has three settings: fail, stun and kill. Masterded and whoever got targeted last night got lucky, and now I see why the person with the laser (or their friend) didn't speak up - they have potential to kill. I guess it's up to randomness/fate when it is successful.

So Bugs is a PGO by the looks of it? That was quite funny seeing that in the writeup. Ha - ain't it a stinker! Although it makes me wonder if maybe he doesn't have "full" PGO abilities since there's a group out there who need him dead. Who knows.

More killers out last night, and apparently none of them went after who I thought they would.I thought I saw maybe Trypio would be attacked for his NickToon-ness, but he's safe, as are other strong townie guys like DJ again. I don't want to set us all up for a fall figuratively, but this seems to be going really well for the good guys :)
