lol, I usually start a small fed on my own, but when I do venture to the already made feds, USPW is usually the first I gravitate toward. Don't ask me why, it's a challenge I guess. Although I admit sometimes I cheat and hire the likes of the Jacob Jets of the world and push them harder than most.

T-Rex, DD, and The Force always come through for me though.

And to answer your question, no you didn't understand the cartoon wrong. RR is the good guy, although I can certainly see people having a soft spot for Wiley Coyote, "Super Genius"

He's the only person it cna be related to. However, if you are allied with anyone of that opposite group don't worry. It works similar to my role in the first mafia game on here. I had to find out who Skull DeBones was and then try and get people to take him out but I myself couldn't kill him.

Remember from C-Verse 2.0 that Rip Chord had to die in order for Giant Redwood to win.

Anyway, one thing that stuck out at me was someone mentioning Antithesis being jumpy about people voting for him on Day One but then encouraging votes Day Two. Maybe his unlynchability alternates? I think it is at least worth a shot to try and lynch him during the third day phase because he has looked pretty darn scummy so far.

I think voting patterns are a good way to make calls on who is and isn't town / scum but only when we have had a few day phases. Using them in the second day phase doesn't give much basis for them, does it? I mean, some people might not have been on for both, or neither like me.

It seems especially strange considering we have someone that is almost guaranteed to be on the bad side of things. How many times has Wiley Coyote ever been on the side of good?

Still, if people want to press the guys on that list, go for it but I haven't seen any reason for thinking any of them are against the majority. I'd rather pressure NickC because 1) he's seemed a little scummy so far, 2) I think he'd crack with fairly few votes so we wouldn't need to worry about Multis and 3) he's just so darn funny.

Failing that, maybe shine the light on the new players. Inexperience could lead to slips that reveal baddies.

I would have to assume that Gargamel would be the Don of that group and have awesome powers that work on anyone that's more than a few inches tall.:D

Another, and below is where someone, doesn't get the obvious. Weird, it wasn't like we were being subtle in the joking, why so eager to prove yourself here?

I repeat, Gargamel as a Doombringer? There is no in-character sense that could put him in this group. He didn't have the talent to hang with a Megatron or a Shredder. Gargamel, evil as he may have been, was a bumbling idiot. None of these great cartoon warlords or even Mumm-ra would follow a buffoon like Gargamel.

You want to make him Don of a group that includes Prince Lotor, the Toilanator and the Ameoba Boys as aspiring villians who couldn't cut it? I could buy that idea. But MJ is more of a Doombringer than Gargamel.

I thought the smilies would give it away, but I wasn't being serious. I try to save my serious speculation for day phases.

But I do think the idea of Gargamel in that group would be so preposterous that it would be completely awesome.

I'm still very much suspicious of Gargamel. The idea of him being scum would make a great deal of sense. And considering our first kill goes back to the 80's I see no reason why Gargamel couldn't be in the mix somewhere. I just don't see him as THIS brand of scum. It's too far over his head.


Maybe it's just me, I don't know. Something weird about that whole conversation last night though, left me kind of worrying that a certain somebody was trying just a wee bit too hard.

Mind you this is based off of nothing but a gut instinct but half of this game is built around trying to read people after all.

Megatron as a guy who hunkers down and just has to get through? Not buying it for a minute. If he had claimed to be some sectarian support guy I could believe that. After all, after Megatron transformed into a gun, he always needed Starscream or Soundwave or somebody to fire him. A camoflauge sort of ninja type role I could believe because of the Transformer thing. But to hunker down and try to wait it out? Don't think so. Megatron was too brash for that. Soundwave or Starscream sure. Megatron never.

I'm either not involved enough (post counts) or, when I get to the point that I'm posting pretty regularly like now, you become suspicious of me (even if only to a small extent). Wiley Coyotes ability is more that he has to find someone in order to win/ improve ability.
He's the only person it cna be related to. However, if you are allied with anyone of that opposite group don't worry. It works similar to my role in the first mafia game on here. I had to find out who Skull DeBones was and then try and get people to take him out but I myself couldn't kill him.

I have explained this twice now. But what would this game be if I didn't have to repeat myself?

The last time I was online during the LR lynch, was when he was nearing the hammer. I overestimated him. I thought "his behaviour would be a great way for a BOMB to act". Turned out he was just making mafia mistakes.

How active has he been, concerning this game?
Pretty much none exsistant.

Has he been in games before? Cause I wasn't very active in my first game. If it's not his first than I can see you line of thinking, I think.
I don't believe he's able to get on as much as he used to, but yeah.. He's a vet, been playing longer then I've been alive (just kidding), but yeah...

Three things:
1. Even in the early games I was often low on the post count (one of the first suspects based on votes, IIRC and it's happened again, in DOTT even if I remember correctly).
2. My Timezone basically means that unless I keep weird hours, I miss alot of the high posting times and just play catch up.

Yeah, that was rather strange. Especially when him not being around at all at the time doesn't exactly excuse him from being scum. Remember Sadistic Blessings in RWC? He was out for weeks with internet troubles, all the time his character was out killing us every night!

Essentially because of the way my role is laid out. It would have been in the game had I actually been planted on the sign-up list properly anyway, but due to the size of the game it was left out. The thing is, the more I think about it, the longer he's alive, the more he's a threat to everyone EXCEPT the Road Runner... He seems more likely to mess up and hurt himself or some other poor random person than he is the Road Runner, even if he ends up finding them, because he never could seem to get RR...

I'm pretty sure all he can do is figure out whom Roadrunner is, and try to get them killed. Pretty much searching like how the SK was being searched for to be cured in VG Mafia. I'd imagine him to be no threat to the rest of us, but still.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there. Chances are they won't be a threat to the majority, as long as they don't get reckless and start wildly accusing in order to find the one's they're trying to take out, which would just make people suspicious of them anyway, so yeah, I guess they're not really too much of a threat, but still, I think they're more than a threat than I'd see Bugs/Tweety/Roadrunner being.

Well, as I said before. I'm not a habitual note taker like Derek_b and other players. I play mostly off of how I feel personally. We haven't seen Ya much, so that stirred that suspicion, and Josh and Whitey, I just get a vibe of them not being well. Kosher. I have no concrete evidence against them at all. I figured if we put 3 fresh faces on the questioning stand. The town and fellow factions can gain information.

I neglected site mechanics that were more important than I realized. And when called on these things, I panicked. The result being the lynch was transferred onto me and what could have been a very useful role for the Mafia was off the board Day 1. You've been keeping cool, absorbing events and acting at a deliberate pace. Whether you reach the end game or not, you've been playing smart. Keep up the good work.

Claiming someone who was known as a bad guy Looney Tunes just doesn't sit well with me. Even if his only goal is to find The Road Runner and he can't kill (which I doubt) I actually could see him having a role similar to Arrows Jedi role in the last game. Arrows had a night kill ability but if he killed anyone but Sith he would be exiled (die). That would make sense to me for Wil E. Coyote. Like Lost yesterday I feel this is our best move and we should go ahead and pull the trigger on this.

I really would like to know who's got the laser and what their actual intent with it is. It seemed like it might have been an accident that it went off when it did, so maybe it's like my Chewbacca role where I would beat someone up at random if I got a certain number of votes...

In fact that's exactly what it sounds like. Except for maybe the votes thing, because I don't think anyone got 50% of lynching req. So maybe they're not necessarily bad, they just hit a good guy. Still, no one has come forward about it.

Only things I have to add revolve around Antithesis. Obviously we can't lynch him, at least today, perhaps tomorrow? The only unlynchable person we have had up to this point in games has been a mafia don. Anti allegedly came up as a threat to Nicktoons, and has made some scummy posts in the thread. He could have been framed by Jim, but that is debatable. He seems to have been to successfully frame whomever, and Anti could have been an obvious choice. Jim is dead now and I imagine the only framer we had died with him. So Anti is due another investigation as far as I'm concerned or perhaps a well placed roleblock to see what comes out of it. I, like many others, do find it weird that he was up in arms over a day one vote but begged for votes on day 2.

Only things I have to add revolve around Antithesis. Obviously we can't lynch him, at least today, perhaps tomorrow? The only unlynchable person we have had up to this point in games has been a mafia don. Anti allegedly came up as a threat to Nicktoons, and has made some scummy posts in the thread. He could have been framed by Jim, but that is debatable. He seems to have been to successfully frame whomever, and Anti could have been an obvious choice. Jim is dead now and I imagine the only framer we had died with him. So Anti is due another investigation as far as I'm concerned or perhaps a well placed roleblock to see what comes out of it. I, like many others, do find it weird that he was up in arms over a day one vote but begged for votes on day 2.

I think Dexter and Deedee are the leading candidates at this point, followed closely behind by Pink and the Brain. Something about "Sister" is what pointed to Dexter but I don't have quick access to the write up to review it right now.

If we come to a point where we don't know where else to look, you can bet on it.

Yeah I've no new ideas on it. Post counts always are a scapegoat, but aren't always reliable.

Generally they get whether someone is town or non town aligned, but in this game I can't say for sure. A framer is someone who can change the alignment of someone for investigation. They would choose one target a night and change them from town to non town (default ability) and hope someone investigates them on that night.

I don't watch Heroes, but yeah the roleblocker does just what the name says, he blocks whatever. There is bit of a gray area though. Generally it is up to the mod as to what can actually be roleblocked and whether or not it can carry on to the previous day phase. However if he were the Don, it would block the mafia's night kill. Though we don't know if he is a don.

Well, I'm awake and getting ready for work. I seen a couple thoughts in there, and one of my favorite player's stuck out a bit.

Midnightnick seemed to be looking for information that was already out there. He might have been just trying to follow through on something I was digging at before though, so I'm not sure.

The wrong thing happening at night will confirm my suspiciouns though. Outside of that, I'm not sure how to go about finding out.

For those with great town roles, unless you can make sure your safe at night, I would be really tight on information that leads to your character's name... especially if you already gave enough and are satisfied some of us know already.

I haven't done it yet, but what I look for in inactives is.... Active elsewhere, but not here. It didn't pan out in the DOTT game though, but I think it has merit... why would someone be able to post just about everywhere else, and not even come in here and say "Hello, Just wanted to let you all know I'm playing too!"

Ugg. For the person who asked (seems like I just read someone asking) I had been up for over 24 hours with my lynching and then getting involved with all the other discussions after people began looking elsewhere. After that I went to sleep.

I know it seems like I live on this board, and that I have no life, but I am human, and I have to sleep sometimes lol. If people are going to say that me taking 10-12 hours to catch up on sleep and grab some food is suspicious then maybe I am playing the wrong game.

As for investigations, etc. By all means investigate me. roleblock me. Track me. Watch me. The more eyes on me, the safer I am at night phases, and hopefully, the faster everyone can be convinced of my claim.

As for the tweety thing.. thats a character (and it looks like, a role) that is decidely town. based on the write up.

There are some things about that night phase write up, that I have questions about (mainly because of the word choices in some sections). I am left wondering.. was it accidental, on purpose. a clue, or a false lead?

Its too early to tell. But I do feel safe in saying that there is something going on at the town center, and its faction related.

What it all means, however. I dunno.

As for suspicious peeps after I last read posts intently (again I just woke up not long ago.. I gotta re-read some stuff). Nothing stands out that hasn't already been mentioned.
