Is a pro football game in the works at Grey Dog? If not, I'd like to suggest one. It should allow league play with the ability to edit players or allow for importing league files from another game such as TPF if that's legally possible.
The online football league I run has been around since 14 August 1999. We are currently looking for a new game to move our league to even if it means I'll have to spend some time recreating the players in it. TPF and FOFB are the top two contenders are the moment. Anyone know of another football game that might be good for my to league to switch to?
Some members in my league have suggested switching to TPF while others have said it's a dead game. Adding, "Wait until Arlie releases a new one." Now I wouldn't mind recreating my league in TPF if I knew Arlie and the team at Grey Dog was working on a pro football game that would import the league files from TPF. (You could message me privately if you didn't want that info released to the general population at this time.) ;)
That in itself brings me to another thought. What about a sports league game utility which would convert a league file from one game format to another game's format. The utility could be updated with patches as new games came out. I don't know how the gaming companies would take to the idea but the end users would probably like it.
