College Wrestling

I would love to see a college wrestling game set up like WMMA. I love the sport and have always wanted someone to make a pc game where I could coach my Iowa team to the NCAA's.

I think if it were made like WMMA it would be easy for Adam to do. You just take the weight classes in WMMA and expand them to cover all the weight classes in wrestling, create all the teams in Div. one like bowlbound and set the schedule for duals and tournorments for each team. Then rewrite the play by play to fit college wrestling. I would by this game in a heartbeat.

It could be called The world of college wrestling or TWCW.

Sounds like a pretty good idea. You'd get a whole new fandom into the Grey Dog house. You'd get the curiosity factor from both WMMA and TEW fans. Which could make this a bit of a midpoint game leading to cross-pollination of those two existing bases. Maybe a collegiate theme boost for Bowl Bound. Definitely seems there are possibilities here.

as somone who wrestled in college for 4 years in princible i would love it BUT. Where would the game be? There is no advertising for matches. No "growth" or "popularity". Fights are almost always number one from each team against each other and down the roster.

While I would love to see it i don't know how much of a game could be made out of it.
