In early 1996 MMA began to establish itself as much more than human ****fighting as it had long been referred as. Several fighters had become household names like Dan Halvorsen, Gunnar Nilsson, Buddy Garner, Hakan Fezzik, and the MMA cover boy James Foster. In mid 1996 a new wave of fighters that became known as the new breed made there way into the MMA scene. More promotions were opening as well all over the world. GAMMA and Alpha 1 now had competition like never before. Young fighters like Derrick Dozier, Thiago Gustavo, and Jason Wooden quickly burst on to the MMA scene as true power players. Jason Wooden along with IFGA owner Nikki Bostic also became the most talked about relationship in MMA. Everyone new there was big things ahead for the sport.

Woo, thx a lot man, I really enjoyed playing C-Verse before competitive real world mods were out, but it was too thin to have long term games.

Yeah sorry about that. I'll fix XCC and I just noticed that the new promotions titles need vacated since they were copies of existing belts. Sorry about this. I'm also planning on releasing Version 2.0 on Friday. I plan on adding more fighters. The rosters of the new promotions will become larger too since there rather small.

Have not yet decided on whether more promotions will be added. I will be adding more later but for now probally gonna work on getting the current promotions rosters up to size. Long term I'd like to have 15-20 promotions and 1000+ fighters.

I hate to say it but this isn't worth downloading at all. The new workers it seems are all created using existing pictures which isn't good for long term play. Also yeah you made more active promotions by setting the inactive to active but they only have 10 workers on the roster so they aren't really playable.

I know you are just trying to spice up the game but this isn't really anything. The only way to spice the game up is more renders so we can have more workers but it appears most of the artists have turned their attention to TEW 08

Not really much I can do about renders. Already stated about increasing the promotions roster size this friday.

I just wanna point this out before something could happen, if you plan on using the renders from either render thread, please make sure you get the persons permissing to use it. I only say this cause we have had problems in the past with people just taking the work of others.

Yeah. I was actually gonna email a person about making a few renders I could add but I dont take someone elses. I never like when someone steals my work and wouldnt wanna steal theres. I'm gonna try finding someone to make some renders for me and I'm willing to make a little donation for the effort just because the renders will make this mod better.

A small update on the preogress of Version 2.0 is I have decided to make the update have 12 promotions but 4 will be promotions that arent yet opened. This will allow me to fill the rosters of the current promotions and at a lkater date I could bring in more active promotions.

I also have a little storyline update to share. I am including a Cornell twist in the next update. Thomas Cornell Jr will be the owner of ISL. I also added a Cornell related sponsor and TV stuff as well. Those familiar with TEW 2007 will understand this better. Also I have IFGA buying out WEFF as the main womens promotion but WEFF will return as a new promotion later in your dynasties.

There's gonna be a little delay on getting the update up. Wednesday morning I went to the ER and had emergency surgery to remove my appendix and gall bladder and just gotr out of the hospital today so I still have a little bit of the database to work on. Sorry for the delay but Im just not feeling up to working on it right now. Should be resuming it early next week.

I'll also get the update posted on filefront along with megaupload from now on. Just gonna be a few days til Im able to get it posted.

I was able to finish the rosters and promotions but havent had the chance to add many new fighters. There are currently 606. I am gonna upload the database to megaupload and then to filefront and once Im feeling better from surgery I will work on adding more fighters and make it part of Version 3.0. Version 2.0 should be posted later tonight or saturday.

The V 2.0 Update has been posted in the first post. Not many new fighters. I added Kirk Algne and edited the ISL owner to be Thomas Cornell Jr. Once Im feeling better I will be adding a ton of new fighters. The next update should have around 700. Enjoy the update.

Currently working on adding more fighters to be released with Version 3.0. This update will take a little longer than the rest however. I'm setting a release date for 3.0 to be sometime in May. Version 2.0 is a playable update for now and I hope everyone enjoys it. I'll be posting progress reports as I make progress on the 3.0 update.

Your welcome. Just noticed the title histpries got messed up and had some weird symbols in the text so I fixed them and am currently working on adding more fighters. Because of this I have decided to try and push up the release date for Version 3.0 and try to get it out this week. Then the updates wont be as often. The long term goal is still to have 15 promotions and 1000+ fighters. I am also gonna be posting a dynasty on these boards possibly today so check it out if you get the time. Thanks for everyones support with this database. Its been alot of fun working on this and haveing people interested in it.

I have plans to add about 20 fighters today which will bring the total to around 630.

I actually wanted to get some opinions from other users on something for the database. I was considering adding a few TV Shows but wasnt sure if 1996 is just too early. I was planning on just giving Alpha 1 and GAMMA a TV Show however. What are your thoughts on this.

Perhaps im doing something stupid, but i cant seem to be able to install this correctly. Any chance you could give me some instructions?

First i tried opening it using Winzip and then extracting it into the data folder but it doesnt register as a database. Then i tried just saving it there but im having the same problem.

Im not quite sure what else to do.

Well, i managed to get it installed by shifting a folder or two but now it says there are a number of database errors. Two guys are debuting before they are eighteen (that was an easy fix) and a bunch of contracts are invalid because the fighters havent appeared in the game world yet. Not sure what to do about that one.
