The fights in the first round of the tournament will be decided by the two coaches alternating picks. For instance, if Team Silva picks the first fight and wins, Team Bisping will still pick the second fight. This will go throughout the first round of the tournament, with picks alternating with the outcome of the fights having nothing to do with the next fight.
.
In round two, the team with more wins in round one will pick all of the round two fights.

Onto The Winners

The winners of The Ultimate Fighter competition, and certain runner-ups depending on their performance in their competition finals, receive the touted "six-figure" contract to fight in the UFC. These contracts are specifically three-year contracts with a guaranteed first year. Each year consists of three fights, the first year's purse per fight consist of $12,000 guaranteed with a $12,000 win bonuses (a maximum of $24,000 per fight), the second year's purse per fight is $16,000 with a $16,000 win bonus (a maximum of $32,000 per fight) and the third year's purse per fight is at $22,000 with a $22,000 win bonus (a maximum of $44,000 per fight). A TUF winner who goes 9-0 can earn $300,000 total on the contract, but only $150,000 is guaranteed for all three years if 9 fights are fought.

What about the rest ?
Those that have not won the competition can still fight in the UFC. Their contracts however are not the same as the six-figure deal above.

Romy Alvarez: I can't begin to say how thrilled I was when Silva called my name. The man is one of my favorite fighters in the world and I'm getting a chance to train with him for the next six weeks. I have a similar style to Anderson so I know working with him so do wonders for my game. Not to mention the great coaching staff he brought along. These are the guys who help all those great fighters out of Black House train and prepare for their matches. I have no doubt that the Blue team is by far the stronger team and we're going to win this thing.

Jason "Doomsday" Davis: Hell yeah, I think Team Silva is going to win. Do you honestly think I would think otherwise?? I have respect for both of the coaches, and it's been my dream to train with The Spider. But, let me tell you something, I will win this, there is no doubt about it. I am the most athletic, the most ferocious, and the cutest guy here. Heh, once I win this, I want Anderson Silva!!! I will prove to the world that if you underestimate Jason Davis, doomsday will be sure to follow.

Fight Announcement

Gentlemen, UFC President Dana White has informed me that Team Silva will select the first fight this season. I've talked it over with my assistant coaches and we feel that we've made a good choice. The first fight will be Team Silva's Thomas Salerno against Team Bisping's Scott Hapak.

Fight Discussion for Salerno v. Hapak

Bruce Sommerset: I'm really looking forward to this fight. Salerno has some great submissions and ground control. That could make for a bad match up for The Hammer. We really need to gain control of the fight selection, though, and I am hoping for some magic.

The Hammer is a big 185 and should be able to use that power to stop those submission attempts. He seems to be much more patient than what I have seen in Salerno. I am hoping he can use that strength to put him against the cage and work him with some dirty boxing. That's what Randy has been working on with him.

I really like this first fight for our team. I got a chance to roll with Salerno during the evaluation process and in training and he has a great ground game. From what I saw of Hapak he is a tough guy but doesn't have much in the way skills. The team pretty much agreed that he was one of the weaker fighters on the Grey team so we made this match to grab us an easy win. I think Hapak's only chance is to catch Salerno with a wild haymaker but Salerno is too good defensively to let that happen and once the fight fights the ground it's over.

Ben Blackmore: Really excited to see how this first fight goes down. Hapak is a beast and working with a wrestlers as good as Michael and Randy are only going to help him. His cardio is insane, he had me blown away on our run today. Can't wait for the fight and I can't wait to really start training with everyone. Most excited actually to work with Dean Lister, I pride myself on my submission game and being able to roll with one of the best grapplers in the world is only going to help. I really look foward to going deep into this thing and Lord willing winning it all.

As you might have heard Team Silva got to pick the first match of this season , and what a match they choose. Im Excited to see how this one turns out !
Thomas Salerno is a Brown belt in Jujitsu and this kid is only 18 ! to get your brown belt by the age of 18 show a level of commitment wow!

His Opponent is a young kid also at 19 who was a stand out wrestler in high school , we will just have to see how good this kid is. we really don't know much about either of these kids but traditionally wrestlers do very well in MMA im Excited to see how this one turns out Jujitsu vs Wrestler both seem to wana go to the ground lets just hope they don't get nervous on the big stage

**out of character: This fight will be Posted Tomorrow , and hopefully both fighters will have some interaction with there respective coaches and i can find out what areas they trained on to prep for this fight. ***

Fritz "The Hammer" Hrdlicka: When I found out Anderson Silva (the greatest fighter in the world) was my coach I was thrilled. I tend to think we are similar fighters as we are both tough from the clinch and have knockout power!

Now onto my prediction for the fight...its easily going to team Silva. Salerno needs to put Hapak in his place. There is only one true hammer and that is me!

Thomas Salerno: Well first of It is a great honour to be on the team of the best p4p fighter in the world right now. And secondly I am very, very happy about me being in the first match. Hopefully I will take him down pretty quickly and then make him tap so I will be safe till the second round.

I came here to become the best fighter I can possibly be. With all that said, I’ve also always been a team player. So while I wish both fighters luck, Salerno, I expect you to kick ass and take names in this round.

Frank Night I am truly just excited to be in the house. I felt it was a win win situation with the coaches. True I was more partial to Anderson Silva since he is a well rounded fighter and perhaps the best Pound for Pound fighter in the world. Still Michael Bisping should really help me develop my striking and stand up. After learning the assiant coaches I would have preferred Team Bisping. Randy Couture will be a huge honor to train with a fighter like that. Not to mention Dean Lister can help with Jujitsu. Looking at the rest of my team It is mostly Jujitsu and wrestlers. That will help me work the rest of my ground game and I can help some of the wrestlers with submissions. I look forward to training and will give it everything. This is a once and life time opportunity and I put everything I have to come out on top.

Frank Night: I would take this match up as it is, Scott is quite strong and a good wrestler. If Thomas isn’t used to dealing with wrestlers it could be quite bad for him. And Team Silva doesn’t have a pure wrestler fighter or coach. Thomas of course will be fine with being on his back, but Scott maybe just too strong. I will over him some help with submissions and defence if he wants to.

Who do I think will win? that has to be a joke, right. Salerno is a good fighter, and I do not doubt that he has been training hard, but Hapak is training harder, and faster. His Wrestling and BJJ are better than ever, mostly because I am his training partner, and that guy hits harder than a mofo. Salerno better watch out.

enjoy your time cause as i will know TUF is the time to prove yourself to the greats of UFC look at Matt Serra Chris Leben Forrest Griffin

I have heard from several sources Salerno is going to win but every since Hapak joined he has improved alot and i don't think he will be a pushover to anyone

I consider myself a "Free Style" fighter but when I was growing up I watched alot of Georges St. Pierres fights and I try to imitate his style and movement. Scott Hapak: Truth be told, I was expecting to get picked early for a fight. And I may be a wrestler, but that's hardly all I am. If he thinks he's just going to run over me and sub me, he's in for a rude awakening. The fact of the matter is, I'm bigger and stronger and can go longer. Not to mention all of my teammates have my back, and I'm working with two great wrestlers with Coach Bisping and Randy. I've been working with Dean particularly though in improving my defense, everybody has been a great help so far. Salerno had better be ready to be on his back every round.

Just Wanted both coaches to Know the more Robust your Role Playing session is with the fighter that is going to be fighting in the next bout.
You can improve your fighters chances slightly (with a Temp and subtle boost to there stats in the categories you work on with him)

Note: These Bonuses are Temporary and affect just that fights outcome **The reason for this is, to be realistic, you can not work on something overnight and have it be a lasting situation it takes time to Improve**

Examples:

**Excluding how you role play it out of course**

we worked on his Standing game , more specifically his Kicks and Punching

of course i would hope it would be a bit more Robust of a Role Playing Post but you get my Point.

First thing i notice when walking into the house is these guys are a bunch of Fraking pigs , this house smells bad and the kitchen is a mess Good thing this isnt a cooking show or something *chuckles*

Round 1
Hapak is the first to score a meaningful blow, tagging Tom with a jab to the cheek. Tom uses a nice straight left to return fire. Hapak comes in to work the body, but Tom saw it coming and uses a quick takedown to put Hapak onto the floor, falling into guard. Tom passes guard and gets into side control, but it's an awkward position; Hapak has the entire right hand side of his body up against the cage, and both his legs wrapped around Tom's left arm. Tom's attacking options are fairly limited. He uses a couple of back fists to strike away at the face, but Hapak covers up to defend them. Tom tries to pin down one of Hapak's arms and bring his legs around to trap them fully, but Hapak uses his free arm to stop that from happening. The ground battle enters a stalemate, as Tom finds himself unable to do any real damage other than occasional strikes, which he doesn't have the leverage to get much power behind, with virtually no chance of gaining a submission thanks to his left arm being trapped. The referee eventually stands them up, and the time expires before anything interesting can happen with them standing. The round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Tom by 10-9.

cyrus1469
04-23-2008, 08:58 PM
Round 2
A touch of gloves to start the round, and we're underway. Tom lets rip with a vicious straight right almost immediately, but it's easily avoided. Hapak sneaks a jab through the guard and catches Tom on the left cheek, but the follow up right hook only finds gloves. They get close to each other and end up in a clinch, from which Hapak manages to get the better position, pushing Tom up against the cage. Right hand to the ribs from Hapak. Tom hits a couple of knees to the side. There's a struggle for supremacy going on, it's difficult to see who is winning it. Hapak tries a knee of his own, but that is the opportunity that Tom was waiting for and he sweeps the standing leg to take Hapak down to the ground, in side control. Excellent takedown. Hapak covers up to defend against a pair of back-hand blows, and even manages to sneak a knee strike in. Tom hits a big elbow to the ribs, Hapak definitely felt that. Tom drives a knee to the near side, then attempts to float-over into a mount. Hapak brought his legs in though, and manages to pull guard. Tom will be disappointed with that. He tries to get a big punch in, but Hapak defends it well and gets a hold of both arms. The fight grinds to a halt, with Tom unable to generate any attacks, and Hapak unwilling to give up a good defensive position. The referee stands them up. Tom will likely be very angry that he didn't make more of that takedown. They exchange half-hearted jabs as the round draws to an end. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Tom by 10-9.

An exchange of strikes in the center starts the round, both fighers hit nice jabs amongst the flurry of punches. They end up clinched. Hapak hits a punch to the ribs, and takes one back in return. Tom pushes forward and the rush causes Hapak to stumble and get taken down, pulling guard as they hit the ground. The official scores are in; two judges give 30-27, the other 29-28, all for Thomas Salerno.

You know what lads, I try to model myself after my Idol Georges St. Pierre but I have to take a quote of his and use it, "I was not impressed by your performance", thats what I would like to say to Tom. I felt that he showed his skills well but he just couldnt finish the fight, granted Hapak is a tough guy im taking nothing from him but I did expect Tom to finish him. I asked Bisping to set me up with Tom if I ever got the chance but I should focus instead on my possible opponents. Congradulations to Tom, I hope the best to Hapak. To the viewers out there, dont count Team Bisping out yet we have the best for a reason!

That wasn't the greatest fight ever and Salerno was pretty disappointed that he couldn't finish off Hapak. He got unlucky in the first and third with Hapak landing in good defensive positions that limited what Salerno could do and he just made a mistake in the second going for mount too early. Still great win for Salerno and Team Silva. We're going to keep the ball rolling and take out Bisping's boys one by one.

Jason Davis: Great opening win for Team Silva. Shame, Tommy couldn't get a tap or a knockout. Maybe, I will take Tommy under my wing, and show him how to finish off an opponent. You know, not to sound kocky, but after being around these guys for a few days, I think I am the hands on favoirte to win this thing. I'm telling you, not to take anything away from the remaining 14 other guys, in one years time I will be the Middleweight Champion.

Right now, living in the house is boring. All these guys are acting like we are all friends. I am here to win a UFC contract, not meet my BFF. We need something to stir things up in the house, and that something just might be me..........

the winner of the fight moves on , the loser is eliminated the winner of the fight will win 5,000 courtesy of Burger King

3 is the lowest amount of 5 minutes round you can have.

I know. I was just wondering because the set up still describes the fight as 2 rounds. Just wanted to make sure. I thought he may just sim 3 rounds, but review the first two and possibly declare a winner (and not show us the 3rd).

I'm good with either way.

Actually it has changed from season to season, I can't remember which season but I know one of them it didn't matter what team won the fight they coaches flip flopped picking fights. Plus it makes it seem more reel that the rules chance season to season becuase every TUF has had slightly diffrent rules.

As for the fight that was just announced…my fight with Middleton, it’ll be very interesting. One of the most important things you learn in Jeet Kune Do is to be formless, so in that sense, we have similar fighting styles. I know I’m physically stronger than him because we’re both the same weight, but I have a lower center of gravity. On the other hand, Middleton being 6’8”…if I can overcome his reach, then I’m in great shape…if I can’t, then the advantage is his. Personally, I think it’ll be a great fight, so let’s just bring it.

First off Congratulations to Alexander Middleton he not only won $5,000 dollars for the win, but also won another $5,000 for the stoppage! For a grand total of $10,000.

That fight had me second guessing myself every time i thought who might win, first i though 6'8" and the reach advantage was going to over come anything Fong had, but after seeing Fongs kicks how flexible he was, with the power he generates in those kicks , To be honest i thought fong was going to surprise us here and connect with one of those kicks and lay the giant to sleep.

i found out fong suffered a ankle injury were still unsure how serious it is, he was taken to the Hospital for X-rays and we will just have to wait and see. i couldn't tell if Fong was out could from that Hay maker Middleton threw but WOW !!

Just don't let this fight get you down. You are better than that."

Suprised, Fong looks up. "Thanks, man. You know, I had you all wrong. I thought you were a jackass, but I guess I had you pegged wrong."

Davis: Let's get one thing perfectly clear. I respect everyone in this house, I respect my coaches, and I respect Dana White. Sure, I am a little crass, but that's part of my strategy. You see, once I get in the ring, I am a stone cold killer. I don't think about anything else, but the job at hand. If I can get my opponents out of their game, they are more likely to give me that little opening I need. If I can get my opponent to hate me with everything they have, then they are fighting for the wrong reasons. They are thinking about hurting me, and they will take that unnecessary knockout punch they don't need to take. Once, that happens, I just pounce on their mistake.

Keep fighting and training hard lad you will be huge one day". Alexander gets up and nods to the other Fighters before leaving Team Silva's Locker Room.

Confessional
"Oh boy was that a Tough time after the fight. Were both young guys and alot of the fighters here have given up alot to be here and Fong most of all didnt deserve to go out like that. I wish him the best of luck in all future endevours. I was surprised when I first landed that shot but I guess I got him on the right spot and my instincts kicked in so I began to continue punching...no disrespect to him but were both fighters".

*Alexander stops a bit and then speaks up*

"I want to thank Bisping, Couture and all my teammates..ive learnt so much these past few days and its all because of Team Bisping. One thing I learnt today was heart, Fong showed that and I wont forget it at all. To all my family and friends I miss you, hopefully I can win this thing."

OOC:Wow crazy finish, I guess these things happen. Hopefully Fong can win his UFC match and we might be able to have a rematch down the road

You gotta hate seeing one of your teammates going home? After training with these guys you can grow pretty close with them. But then again, you come to the realization that you are here for yourself to make it to the UFC. Hopefully I will get a chance to fight next! I don't care who it is...I am just ready to fight!

Thomas Salerno: Well first of congrats to Middleton on beating Fong, but let me tell you something for free you will not be getting past me in the Quarters. You have good sub defence and a good chin but I still think I can take you out. Also the next fight Scott vs Clements, Scott will win 2nd round tap out. Clements you have no chance because after training with andrews I know he is a beast.

Nicholas Clements is seen working on his ground game with Couture while Jay Smith is improving his kicks with Bisping

Interview After Middleton Win:
Am happy for Middleton he proved that he can be a great ufc fighter for the future, there is not a lot of UFC Fighters that are 6'8 but he has been showing great promise to me while i and couture was training him.

I never doubt him but there were times when i looked at Fong who was good i wish the kid good luck in the future.I Think it was because Middleton wanted it and he got it to prove he deserves to be in the next round

Well Done Both Guys and get better Fong

Nicholas "Young Gun" Clements: FINALLY, I step into the octagon. I predict one thing, FOTY. For those that don't understand acronyms, that is Fight of the Year! Two brilliant BJJ artists stepping to find out which one is better in their craft. I respect my opponent very much. However, their are five things that I believe will win this fight for me; my cardio is better than his, so he will be gassed before I break a sweat haha; Coaches, I have the two best coaches, Randy Couture and Michael Bisping; BJJ, I am a better BJJ artist than he is; Heart, I love this sport so much; Hunger, I want this UFC contract more than anyone. However, this will be the best fight so far.

You can Role play out all of your team (all your Coaches )if you choose or as little as you choose, Just like how the fighters (players) are Role playing out what goes on inside the house , antics etc... Have Fun from a Coaches Stand point.

Dont forget you have more than Bisping and Couture on your team as a Coach , you have whom is known as being the Deadliest Submission Specialist , perhaps the best BJJ practitioner in UFC history on your Team Dean Lister.

thats what makes this type of dynasty flourish is the Role Playing.

Jason Davis and Thomas Salerno are shown in the living room, playing chess. Davis moves his Queen, "Checkmate, biznitch!!" Salerno looks down at the chess board, and looks at his fatal mistake in the game. Salerno picks up his King piece and throws it across the room.

Jay Smith, Bruce Sommerset, and Nick Clements walk into the house after a long day of training. Smith walks right up to Davis. "Davis, you biznitch, why the hell are you ducking me??"

Davis looks up at Smith, while drinking a Diet Pepsi. "What are you talking about, retard??"

"I told you that I wanted you in the next fight, but low and behold, you wimp out. Like a biznitch."

Davis laughs, "Listen buddy, we will fight soon enough. When we do fight, it will be a ratings giant, we just have to wait for ratings week, but until then....." Davis takes his Diet Pepsi and throws it hard at Smith. The bottle bounces off Smith's head. It takes Smith a split second, and then he tackles Davis over the couch. The roommates jump in to seperate the two rivals. Clements and Sommerset pull Smith off Davis. Smith, who is foaming at the mouth, warns Davis that when they fight he will kill him.

Davis: This by far, is the best fight we have seen so far. Both Andrews and Clements are great at BJJ. I, of course, am the best in the house at BJJ, but these two are right up there. This will be a tough match for Andrews, but I think that his work on submissions will give him the edge. Whatever the outcome, I will tell you one thing, I will be sitting back and watching this fight with a smile on my face. Hopefully they live up to the hype, because this could be classic.

Davis (from the living room): Biiizzzz...nnnniiitttchhhh!

Smith pulls away from Sommerset and Clements and starts at Davis again.

Right then the door swings open and Fong walks in on his crutches.

Salerno: Ah man...what is it.

Fong doesn't respond. He walks past everyone into the kitchen and right up to Middleton. Everyone is bracing for another fight.

Middleton: Fong lad, I can't tell you...

Fong extends his hand.

Fong: Good fight man.

Middleton: You too.

D Trot pushes his chair away from the table.

D Trot: Fong man, you got heart.

D Trot looks around the room and then says to Middleton...

D Trot: I'm tired of losing! Next time Team Bisping wins!

D Trot slams his chair down in disgust. The room just sits in silence.

Sommerset puts his hand on Trot's shoulder.

Sommerset: Big guy....Middleton is on our team. You rolled with him yesterday.

D Trot looks confused. He looks around the room and everyone nods to confirm.

D Trot: Well Alright then. That's what I'm talking about.

Trot picks up Middleton to celebrate and Middleton's head slams against the kitchen light.

I still have not received a Training PM of those Fighters to fight in the 3rd Preliminary bout.

For those reason and the fact that some (myself included) could use a 1 day Break from this point forward Sunday will be all about Role Playing , (If you feel like earning extra stat points ) and a day off for those wishing to just have 1 day to Relax !

Ill take the Time now to Re-Address Training encase it was not made clear to all parties

Each Fighters Post i keep track of in a Journal of the day and date of each post you make, i rate how well i think you are Role Playing based on your ability to bring life to the show i award Points (+0.1 - +1.0) in the following stats.

Dedication
Consistency
Charisma
Reputation
Resilience

This Stats Boost is Permanent !

Secondly when you Train for a Fight and i cant stress this enough ( Only counts when its your fight next )

You are to PM me with your Training Regime you can choose ( One, None or up to a Max of 5 stats) exactly worded stat you will Train in. Now don't get this confused with your spelling must be precise . to give you a few Examples

Fong Sai-Yuk Trained in the Following Categories for his Fight with Alexander Middleton

Punch technique
Kick technique
Attack Positioning
Ground Escape
Elbow Technique

so Fong got + 1 % (to all five of those stats) if you have opened the Data Base before you will see you can adjust at a increment of 0.1 % , so a full 1 % is a substantial boost This Boost is Permanent

Another Example:

Thomas Salerno Trained in 1 Category for the first Preliminary Match up to kick off our season.

Ground control
NA
NA
NA
NA

He wasted 4 other picks he could have chosen to train in something thus neting him only a +1 to Ground Control.

Lastly Team Bisping has been active in Role Playing out Training Post all be it a Little Less Descriptive than i would have hoped for !
Example:

in the Alexander Middleton Fight he Helped him Train in his Stand UP if you check the Data Base that is not a skill thats a Area of Skills , so in fairness i picked 5 areas that made sense Based on Michale Bispings Strengths as a Fighter Things that he is good at , obviously he will be better able to train someone in

The Coaches Training is a Temporary boost its only a 1 time boost for that fight , after the fight is over i go and deduct what boost was given from the Coaches interaction with the fighter.

Encase some do not know this , i have not received a Training post not once from Team Silva to help there fighters out , im sorry but the reason for this post is hopefully to Nudge Team Silva into helping you guys not get the short end of the stick.

So Below i have Listed By Category what stats are in the Data Base :

*note: some sub categories ie: stats were Purposely Omitted

General

Conditioning
Strength
Mobility
Reflexes
Chin Strength
Stun Recovery
Cut Immunity

Standing

Footwork
Punch Power
Punch Technique
Hand Speed
Kick Power
Kick Technique
Kick Speed
Knee Power
Knee Technique
Strike Defence
Wrestling Ability
Slams
Takedowns
Takedown Set Up
Takedown Speed
Takedown Defence
Clinch

Ground

Striking
Sweeping
Submissions
Submission Defense
Defensive Positioning
Attacking Positioning
Ground Control
Ground Escape
Ground Flexibility

Clinch

Grappling
Takedowns
Takedown Defense
Elbow Power
Elbow Technique
Knee Power
Knee Technique
Dirty Boxing

Mental

Not a Damn Thing ~ This is all stuff that comes over a career of a fighter

Now i hope that this Post was Informational !

As All ways Great work on the Role Playing and Keep it up ! now you see how it can affect your fighter!

In The Gym:

We see Team Silva training. Jesse Fernicola and Scott Andrews are rolling around the octagon, in preparation of Andrews' fight, with Anderson Silva looking on. We see Jason Davis and Romy Alvarez on the treadmill, and Grigori and Thomas Salerno hitting the punching bag. Fong looks on in the corner.

Confessional:

Davis: You know, the one guy on my team that I get along with the most is Romy. I'd like to think that he is a more laid back version of myself. Of course, he likes to think that I am a more restless version of himself.

In House:

Davis, Alvarez, and Middleton are in the backyard, drinking beer by the fire pit. All are visibly intoxicated, as Davis has a viking helmet on, Alvarez is wearing oversized sunglasses, and Middleton is wearing those fake glasses with the mustache. Inside the house, Jay Smith decides that it would be funny to lock out the threesome, and deadbolts the back door.

After about thirty minutes the threesome decide to go back in the house, and find the door locked. Middleton looks at Davis and Alvarez, "Mates, even though we are on different teams, tonight lets unite to get back in the castle!!!!"

Alvarez screams, "With our powers combined......."

Davis cuts in, "We are Captain Planet!!!!!!"

Middleton gets a crazed look in his eyes, "Gents, if you'd be so kind, battering ram me!!"

Davis and Alvarez look at each other, think what the hell, and pick up Middleton and ram him head first into the door, splintering it apart. They battering ram Middleton on more time, and the door explodes.

Sommerset opens his and sits up in his bunk bed. He stretches and yawns loudly after a great night of sleep. Reaching up to his ears, he pulls out two ear plugs. "Hello my friends," he laughs.

Looking down at his arm he sees two streaks of dried blood on his left arm. "What the hell?"

He hops out of the bed and checks himself for injuries. "Nothing," he mumbles as he pats himself down in confusion. He looks up to see Middleton hanging half off the bed.

Clements is waking up now. "Nick," Sommerset yells.

"I'm right here," Clements responds as he rolls out of bed.

Sommerset turns to him with his eyes wide open in fright, "Do you remember Fong connecting with El Gigante."

Nick is irritated at being talked to the day before a fight, "What? No."

Sommerset is still shocked,"I'm gonna take up JKD man."

Nick is really annoyed now, "What? Why!"

Sommerset points to Middleton, "He hit Middleton so fast we didn't see it and so hard El Gigante grew a mustache and cracked his skull."

Clements, laughing for the first time since entering the house, "You are an idiot."

Sommerset drops to his knees and clasps his hands together, "Teach me Bruce Lee."

Alexander Middleton wakes up his head throbbing slightly. Falling out of bed he puts his shorts on and walks down to the kitchen where he gets some milk and makes himself a rather large breakfast. "Ugh guess I had to much to drink", speaks Alexander as he joins a group of fights outside. "I dont even remember what happened...I gotta stop doing that im a different person when drunk". Finishing up his meal Alexander went near the pool and did his morning stretches before noticing the camera was pointing at him, noticing some food still left on his plate he handed it to the Cameraman. "Eat up lad you have a tough job to".

At Gym
The sound of gloves slamming into pads can be heard as Bisping and Alexander work the standup game of Alex. "Jab, Jab, Cross then follow up with a left hook and then a takedown", speaks Bisping. Alexander follows suite and then bends down and goes for the takedown, Bisping sprawls and then pushes Alexander back. "Faster bud common...alright lets try a flurry and then a single leg takedown". A brief yell is heard through the Gym as Bisping is put flat on his back by Alexanders takedown. "Good mate very good". With a sigh Alexander helps Bisping up. "Alright I think its time we work on your jiu jitsu game so lets get these gloves up put on your pancrase gloves and get warmed up for rolling".

The minutes go by as Bisping shows Alexander special techniques on the ground as well as certain moves only Bisping knows about. "Alright mate Ive gotta go train others...you did well keep it up". Alex nods and then takes a large drink of water.

Confessional
Ive been training pretty hard, I think Bisping is impressed by my performance. As for the fight coming up I feel Team Bisping will take it...possibly by Decision as both fighters are ground guys and it may end up being a stalemate. I cant wait until I can fight again but everyone else needs there time to shine. In the meantime ive been training with Bisping and Couture as well as the other Coaches who have all been showing me little tricks i can use.

Training
Frank Night is working with Dean Lister. Dean has him in his guard Night sweeps to half guard and tries to lock in a kimura. Lister rolls Night over in works through his guard into side control. Night grabs Lister left arm and tries to roll the kimura again. Lister takes Nights back and Night rolls into being mounted. Lister stays their and makes Night buck him off. He stands up and lets Night up to. Night shoots in on Dean, Lister lets him fall into his guard and kicks up his hips and locks in a triangle. Night taps.
Lister: Just remember kid you may be good at submission but these BJJ guys will let you take em down and let you think you got and boom choked out. Remember those transitions, you should always be trying to better your position, either on offence or defense.
Night: Yeah I better be I can’t let myself get in that position again.

Confessional Booth: Rolling with Dean Lister today really helped me out, I was not adamant about working my stand up that I forgot there is plenty more for me to learn about the ground game. This coach group is so perfect for me; I got Dean for BJJ, Randy for wrestling and Bisping for Stand Up. I just don’t see the other team getting this well rounded training.

Man, this house is F'n torture. There ain't nothing to do but deal with the same cats everyday it starts to really wear on you quickly. Thank god for Davis man, I think we both help keep the other sane. Plus, watching him mess with Smith provides great entertainment. That kid is so far into Smith's head it ain't even funny. I have to give props to Middleton the way he blasted out Fong and that door were mighty impressive. His size and power make him a really tough matchup for pretty anyone.

Moving onto the next fight it should be a great ground clinic but I think that Andrews is just abit better there then Clements is. Clements offensive and defensive sub game is just a step or two below Andrews which is going to kill him in this fight. I see Andrews subbing him in the second round.

Round 1

Nick is quickest out, and comes at Andrews with a series of jabs and straight punches. Andrews covered up well, and I don't think anything got through. Andrews hits a body shot, but it didn't connect solidly. They get in close, and it's Nick who takes it to the ground. Andrews pulls guard. There's a lull, as Nick tries to pass, and Andrews defends it. Punches get thrown every so often, but it's really a stalemate at the moment. Andrews almost gets a guillotine, but it's blocked and almost leads to a kimura for Nick, but that too goes nowhere. The referee stands them up, but the time is almost over. The round ends. Sherdog.com has it down as 10-9 Nick.

Round 2
The two fighters touch gloves to start the round, and almost immediately come together in a clinch. There's a struggle for supremacy, but neither seems to be able to gain the advantage. They struggle all the way to the cage, neither seems to have a clear-cut advantage when it comes to wrestling. Things stall, neither fighter seems willing to risk attempting a takedown. The referee waits thirty seconds, then pulls them apart due to the inactivity. Andrews pushes Nick back against the cage, and is able to use that as a set up to taking Nick down the mat, landing in side control. Nick tries to scramble into a better position, but Andrews grabs an arm and tries to lock a hold in. Nick bucks him over, and manages to wind up on top, but Andrews still has the arm, and now has his legs wrapped around it. Nick hits a flurry of left hands to the back and thighs of Andrews, who is almost upside down now. It's no good though, as Nick cannot get his arm free, and as soon as Andrews starts to sink the hold in fully, there's no choice but to tap out.Andrews wins via 2nd round armbar submission with the official time being 2:35.

What can I say, I called this match perfectly. Both of those rounds showed Andrewsk superiority on the ground. When Nick was on top, Andrews shut down all of his attacks and then when Scott got top control bam arm bar. I really like Scott's aggressiveness with his subs. He's perfectly willing to give up position to sink in a sub. I hate it when fighters play it safe and just try to grind out decisions.

Another win for the Blues. I don't have any clue who Bisping is going to pick in the next fight but I hope it's me. I'm itching to get in the cage and prove to everyone that I can back up everything I've said so far.

I knew my boy Scott could get the job done, Anderson did a great job with his Jiu Jitsu and when he locked in that arm bar I jumped in excitment cause I knew it would of been finished. Earlier on Nick had an impressive first round. Almost locking in a kimura. Another win for Team Silva, its what happeneds when your coached by the best in the world.

I don't think I could be any happier with the outcome of a fight. Anderson said to be patient and let him come to me which almost worked since I was close to locking in a guillotine. Of course, Nick was able to attempt a kimura but luckily I wasn't in too much trouble and finished out the round.

Round two was more of the same. I was finally able to grab Nick's right arm and lock in an armbar. To his credit Nick fought hard to try and break free but at that point his arm was mine. I sunk it in and he had no choice but to tap.

Just happy to be staying in the house and add another win to Team Silva.

I have to give Jesse a round of applause for the way he turned that prank around on Davis. It was brilliant, that man earned quite abit of respect from me today. Damn, man someone needs to do something about Middleton before he tears down the house with his head. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what he'll put a hole in when he finds his gear in the pool.

It's an interesting fight we got here as it's a classic grappler vs striker matchup. I saw the D-Trot doing some drills during the evaluation and to put it nicely the man looked a little raw. He's pretty bad standing while Fernicola is right there with Hrdlicka and myself as the best strikers on Team Silva. The only way D-Trot can win this is by getting a takedown and grinding out a decision since I didn't see any great offensive abilities from him, however, Fernicola has been really drilling his takedown D and I think he'll pick D-Trot apart standing on the way to a UD.

Round 1
Fernicola starts brightly by throwing some looping punches. Defended well by Dalton. They circle, throwing tentative jabs. Dalton goes for a single leg and puts Fernicola on the floor, but he is up very quickly, preventing Dalton from getting on top. Fernicola definitely seems to want to keep this standing. Dalton hits a nice jab, avoids a counter left hook, then comes in low and takes down Fernicola again. This time Fernicola isn't able to get up, and has to pull guard. Times ticking away though, Dalton will have to hurry to finish. He goes for an armbar, but Fernicola defends. Dalton tries to slip past to get side control, but Fernicola just about manages to keep guard. A second attempt works though, and Dalton has the side. Two big elbows land, and Fernicola seems in trouble. Dalton goes for the kimura, but can't quite get it. The time expires before he can try again, and the referee separates them. The round ends. Sherdog.com gives that one to Dalton by 10-8.

Round 2
The round starts. They touch gloves. Dalton throws a rapid-fire series of punches, forcing Fernicola to back off. Fernicola throws a nice kick that thumps into the rib cage. Another kick is thrown, this time aimed at the head, but Dalton sees it coming and steps back. Fernicola advances and they meet in the center. Dalton ducks a right hand, scores with a left to the gut. Fernicola throws a one-two combination, neither connecting, but it does allow him to follow up with a stinging kick to the ribs. A big red mark has appeared there. Dalton bursts forward and goes for a big swing, Fernicola ducks under it, hits a right to the chest, then unloads another kick. This one hits the thigh, causing Dalton to noticeably wince. It may have caught the very top of the knee judging from the replays. Dalton tries to come in to get a measure of revenge, but is met with some low kicks that make sure that he can't get close enough to throw any bombs. Fernicola's impressively sharp kicking game is hurting Dalton and allowing him to take firm control of this round. There's not much time left, and Dalton is going to have to do something special to win this round now. He doesn't, as time expires without anything interesting happening. The second round is over. Sherdog.com scores it 10-9 for Fernicola.

Round 3
The fighters come together right in the center. Dalton throws out a jab, but Fernicola bobs out of the way and uses a right hand to glance a blow off the side of the ribs in response. Fernicola works an angle and storms in suddenly with three crisp jabs and a looping overhand punch, Dalton covered up quickly but at least one of the jabs hit home. Fernicola is making Dalton look sluggish in comparison, such is the speed and crispness with which he is delivering strikes. Dalton hits a low kick before back-pedalling to avoid a clubbing blow. Both fighters circle. They meet in the center to exchange a flurry of strikes that gets the crowd on their feet. Fernicola got slightly the better of it, he definitely snuck through a right hand that rocked Dalton slightly. Dalton initiates a clinch, and the action grinds to a halt. Dalton looks out of ideas, he is being repeatedly lured into these exchange of strikes, but Fernicola is clearly winning them. Dalton needs to find some way to deal with them. Not much time left in this round. The referee separates them. Fernicola tries a speculative high kick, but Dalton saw it coming and was well out of range by the time it came. Dalton tries to work an angle, but Fernicola is having none of it and fires off a straight right hand to keep him from stepping in. Comfortable round for Fernicola, he will probably be disappointed not to have done more damage given his dominance of the striking in this round. End of round 3. Sherdog.com has it down as 10-9 Fernicola. The official scores are in; two judges give 29-27, the other 30-26, all for Jesse Fernicola.

Damn, who knew Blaze was such a lightweight. That drunken, naked victory dance he did in Night's face was both the most horrifying and funniest thing I've seen in my life. That man doesn't get anything stronger then a O'Doul's from now on. Though I have to give the man credit what he lacks in drinking ability he makes up for with his in cage skills. He had a rough first round but he made the adjustments he needed to in the second. Started working those kicks to the body and legs to sap Dalton's gas tank and just took over the fight.

Team Bisping is horrible outside of Middleton and we've proven it in each fight. If Frank Night has a problem accepting that well I'll be more then happy to step in the cage with him and show him the truth of the matter.

Frank Night: After hearing the next fight announced I was a bit disappointed, it's tough being in a house for so long and not fighting. its obvious I was not picked as a favorite, but when my chance comes I plan to show them what I am made of. I didn't come here to lose.

Alexander Middleton
Confessional:Ive been keeping to myself lately, so far ive been the only one on our team to win. This doesnt bug me as I know that I may have to fight those that I have trained with soon but I just feel I could be doing something to help them. The Coaches have been great but I can see there starting to get frustrated to but I understand where they are coming from...over the past few weeks we have all become friends and its hard to see a friend lose.

That being said I am training incredibly hard so that I can get our Team another win. Bisping has been teaching me alot of his ground game tricks with the help of Couture and Kongo has been awsome with his Muay Thai skills. Overall ive been noticing a change in myself as both a fighter and a person. As the days go closer to my fight I feel more content and ready for what may come at me. As a fighter I feel stronger, faster and more skilled. I guess time will tell though if I am ready or not.

In the Gym
*Kongo and Alexander Middleton are seen in the cage both have gloves on and there mouth guards in, both are drenched in sweat and it is obvious they are having an intense sparring session*
"Common, fire off those punches, dont hesitate", yells Kongo as Alexander slips under several punches only to be caught by a mid kick which he barely blocks.
With determination in his eyes Alexander presses forward unloading a combination of attacks at Kongo who covers up only to be taken down by Alexander. The round ends and both fighters stand up. "You are very strong for someone of your weight class" speaks Kongo once more. Alexander is still sucking in air as he nods his head.
"Eh mate, keep it up", yells Bisping his thick accent causes Alex to chuckle slightly. As Alexander takes off his wraps outside of the Cage Couture puts a hand on his shoulder, "Keep it up kid, you have alot of heart and your versatile enough to give your opponent troubles whereever the fight goes". Alexander nods and then speaks up as soon as Randy turns his back, "Randy...if it isnt to much to ask, could you be my corner for my next fight?". Randy nods and goes to help the others train.

Jason Davis: Finally, I will get to step into the octagon and show the world that I am the best undiscovered fighting talent alive today. I've been outspoken since I've gotten into the house, and for good reason. Firstly, I am confident to the point of being ****y. Hell, if I thought I sucked as a fighter, I'd be tending bar right now. Jay Smith, me and you buddy, we've had our differences and come fight time, we will blow the roof off the building. I've been like a sponge when it comes to training. I have absorbed everything Anderson has been telling us. It's going to be a great fight. You know what? Ever since I got here, I've been hiding something from everyone. It's my secret weapon. 2 months before I came here, my baby daughter was born. Everything I do, I do it for my daughter. Jenessa, I want to tell you sweety, that daddy is doing this for you.

Sommerset: While I admit that losing is getting a bit old, I think Team Silva is getting a bit ahead of themselves. Middleton may be the only one from our team to win so far, but half of our squad has yet to jump in. When they beat me in the cage, I will be happy to give them all the credit they deserve. Let's see how this thing plays out. The worst part is that some of our guys are starting to buy in.

I am glad to see my teammates winning all of these matches! I just hope that after I win my match I don't end up getting moved to Team Bisping because they are low on numbers! I might not be able to understand half the stuff Silva says, yet he still is a very great and effective coach!

We got a huge fight coming up and I have no doubt that my boy Doomsday is going to take. Not only is he a better fighter then Smith but he's deep in Smith's head and has been since this whole thing started. Davis has grown a ton as a fighter from working with Big Nog on his Jiu-Jitsu, his Muay Thai with Coach Asahida, and all the sparring he's done with the team. There is no way he's going to lose this fight. Not only is this a big fight for Davis it's huge for Team Silva since a win would put us one win away from having control of the second round matchups.

Round 1
Davis is the first to score a meaningful blow, tagging Jay with a jab to the cheek. Jay uses a nice straight left to return fire. Davis comes in to work the body, but Jay saw it coming and uses a quick takedown to put Davis onto the floor, falling into guard. Davis tries to push free, but Jay forces him to go back to guard by raining down some jabs. Jay reaches over and tries to apply some sort of neck vice, but Davis breaks it by bringing his arms up. Jay steps through in an effort to mount Davis, but can only get to half guard as one of his legs gets trapped. Jay throws some strikes, then tries to work an armbar on the closest arm. Davis rolls over and uses his free arm to keep that from happening. That goes on for quite a long time, with Jay determined to try and work the arm free and get an armbar, while Davis uses everything at his disposal to block it. The round ends without Jay having made the breakthrough, although he clearly ran away with the round in terms of points. That's the end of the round.

Sudden Victory ~Round 3~
A touch of gloves to start the round, and we're underway. Davis lets rip with a vicious straight right almost immediately, but it's easily avoided. Jay sneaks a jab through the guard and catches Davis on the left cheek, but the follow up right hook only finds gloves. They get close to each other and end up in a clinch, from which Jay manages to get the better position, pushing Davis up against the cage. Right hand to the ribs from Jay. Davis hits a couple of knees to the side. There's a struggle for supremacy going on, it's difficult to see who is winning it. Jay tries a knee of his own, but that is the opportunity that Davis was waiting for and he sweeps the standing leg to take Jay down to the ground, in side control. Excellent takedown. Jay covers up to defend against a pair of back-hand blows, and even manages to sneak a knee strike in. Davis hits a big elbow to the ribs, Jay definitely felt that. Davis drives a knee to the near side, then attempts to float-over into a mount. Jay brought his legs in though, and manages to pull guard. Davis will be disappointed with that. He tries to get a big punch in, but Jay defends it well and gets a hold of both arms. The fight grinds to a halt, with Davis unable to generate any attacks, and Jay unwilling to give up a good defensive position. The referee stands them up. Davis will likely be very angry that he didn't make more of that takedown. They exchange half-hearted jabs as the round draws to an end. End of the round.

4-1 baby and just one win away from locking up control of the second round. It was a pretty good as both guys stayed active looking for ways to end it. The first two rounds looked pretty similar as both scored a takedown and worked for an armbar. Then Davis scored that pretty trip takedown into side control in the third and grinded the win out. The dude was psyched coming out of the cage. Now I'm just hoping Bisping chooses me to fight next cause I want to be the guy to lock up control of the second round for Team Silva.

Sommerset waves the air away, "You my friend....are a douche."

Fernicola runs up and hugs Davis, "I love you man!"

Sommerset takes a shot of Cuervo and jumps in the pool fully clothed.

Alvarez laughs at him, "What the hell are you doing?"

Sommerset: "I have to get some separation from the crazy fool!"

Davis gets an evil grin, "Nah man! Now you are trapped!"

Sommerset asks "What?", but his eyes get wide with fright when he realizes his mistake.

Jason Davis: Well, the rumors in the house are runninbg rampant that Micheal Bisbing has quit on his team, and walked off the show in disgust. My boy, Sommerset told me that when Team Bisbing went to the gym today that Bisbing was MIA, and that Dana White had to step in and make the matchups for the next fight. So now we got our "Russian Bear" up against Blackmore. The story on Blackmore is that he is a great submission artist, but he has no standup and lacks that killer instinct. Grigori has been training exclussively with Coach Silva in his submission defense. I have to give the slight edge to The Russian in this fight.

Man, Sommerset was telling us how Bisping has bailed on the team and I got to say I feel bad for those cats. Things are going rough for them right now and the last thing they needed was for their coach to bail. I lost alot of respect for Bisping after seeing how he has behaved during this losing streak.

The worse part for the Grey team is that I don't see the streak ending this fight. The Russian is one of those cold, quiet almost robotic kind of fighters. I think he matches up real well with Blackmore as Grigorev has really great takedown and submission defense which should neutralize Blackmore's main strengths. Coach Silva has really worked hard with Grigorev on a sprawl and brawl plan to take advantage of Blackmoore's weak standup.

OOC: Yeah, I think the new pre fight screen is pretty cool as well.

Sommerset (with tissues in each nostril): It's not that I have an issue with Bisping. At least, not until I get his story. The thing is, I am here to train and learn. Not much of that going on these days. Not only was Bisping not here today....neither were any other coaches.

I did get to roll with Middleton today. (Pointing to nose) That's how I got this bad boy. Kid's got some sharp elbows.

Things are getting stressful now that we are down to 4 fighters yet to have fights scheduled. Looks like I get either Alvarez or the Hammer. To be honest, they would both be tough match ups for me.

I have been working with Randy when he is around. The guy is a beast. He has really helped me with my dirty boxing.

Gentlemen you ready *Points at Ben* , *Points at Grigori* You Ready ?
Lets Fight!

cyrus1469
05-09-2008, 08:41 PM
Round 1
Grigori starts the round like a house on fire, hitting three quick jabs and a vicious right hook. Ben covered up well, but at least one of the jabs got through and landed above the left eye. Ben backs up to buy some time, but Grigori keeps coming and lands a right hand to the body. Ben scores with a jab in return, then goes with a kick to the waist. Grigori catches the leg though and quickly rushes forward with a takedown. Ben pulls guard. Grigori throws out a right hand, parried away by Ben. The guard is quite tight, for the moment at least Grigori looks content to stay there and throw some punches. Ben isn't offering any sort of attacking threat yet, instead concentrating on keeping the strikes from landing. A big punch is driven into the ribs, Ben thought it was going for the face. Another punch lands in the same place, and a red mark starts to develop. Ben reaches up and pulls Grigori down into a clinch, and tries to work an armbar from the bottom. Grigori defends it easily, and gets in a sharp jab to the face too. He stands up slightly, leaning forward into the guard, and starts throwing some right hands. One gets through, the others are parried. Ben looked like he might be considering trying to apply a triangle then, as Grigori was very exposed, but he didn't get a chance due to the ferocity of the punches. Grigori gets back down to kneeling in the guard. Another right hand lands to the ribs. Ben fires off two punches from his back, but Grigori defends them easily by simply leaning backward out of reach. Grigori stands again, the guard remaining tight around him, and throws another couple of bombs. This time Ben does try to apply the triangle, and an armbar at the same time, but Grigori breaks free. Time is ticking down, looks like Ben will survive this ground and pound attack. The round ends without further note. That's the end of the round.

**Spoiler Below**
Sherdog.com sees it 10-9 to Grigori.

cyrus1469

Round 2
Good start from Ben, taking Grigori down almost immediately! Grigori scrambles though, and gets back to his feet without taking any damage at all. Ben will be disappointed with that. Grigori comes in and throws two big right hands, but neither connects, and they put him off balance, allowing Ben to score with a nice right hook to the side of the head, crunching into the top of the ear. Grigori felt that one for sure. He stalks Ben, trying to back him up against the cage. It doesn't work though, Ben keeps out of the way. Grigori tries a kick, but Ben catches the foot and uses it for a trip. Ben gets Grigori down for the second time, and this time is right on top of him in guard position. Ben throws some punches, then tries to pass. Grigori doesn't allow it, and tries to grab an armbar in response. Ben easily stops that, and throws some more punches. That becomes the pattern, as the fight falls into a predictable pattern; punches from Ben followed by a pass attempt, with Grigori blocking the pass and throwing the occasional punch in response. The round ends like that, just as the referee was about to stand them back up. End of the round.

**Spoiler Below**

~Sudden Victory~ Round 3
Ben is the first to score a meaningful blow, tagging Grigori with a jab to the cheek. Grigori uses a nice straight left to return fire. Ben comes in to work the body, but Grigori saw it coming and uses a quick takedown to put Ben onto the floor, falling into guard. Ben has the guard held very high. Grigori throws a big right hand, but almost puts himself right into a triangle as a result, and he is forced to fight free. Ben throws a punch and it lands right above the nose. Grigori throws four massive punches as a response, threatening to try and knock Ben right through the canvas, Ben is forced to simply cover up and try to survive. Grigori is controlling the round from this position, although it has to be said that he hasn't yet truly looked like he can stop the match from here. Ben moves to butterfly guard and then tries to scramble back up, but Grigori stops that by throwing another set of big punches, forcing Ben to go back to the full guard. The round ends with them still like that, with Grigori having totally controlled the round from the guard. That's the end of the round.

**Spoiler Below**
Sherdog.com sees it 10-9 to Grigori. All three judges give a score of 29-28 in favour of Grigori Grigorev.

Post Fight:Great fight, rather exciting compared to the other matches that have been somewhat one sided. Both fighters did well and neither of them seemed to fatigued but in the end Grigori managed to get on the judges side and win a split decision, however yet another win for Team Silva.

On Bisping being Absent:Im puzzled as to why Bisping left us without any word and Dana has said anything to us about it. We have been training ourselves lately but it just isnt the same when there isnt an expert there telling you how to do things. Of course its better than not training at all. Night: So I guess I over heard Romy Alvarez wanted to fight me. Thats fine. it seems like a basic matchup, he is goin to keep it standing, while I want to take it to the ground. I want to test hios cardio and see what he got. I know he has some good knees and kicks but I feel it will take a lot to knock me out. maybe I will try the sean sherk aproach eat a knee but get the take down anyways. Our team has hasn't done to well so far, but I came here to win it all, so it is time to turn are team around.

OOC:Yeh my bad I always figured guys on the right side were Team Bisping and Left side were Team Silva. This is getting a bit ridiculous, I mean even with Bisping and our gains from training 99% of the fights we have lost (Save my win) and now whoever RP'd with Bisping left us. Perhaps the manager can do something for Bisping? Elect someone else?

Id be willing for each player to Pick up there Role Playing what each coach is training them in For any Team ...
Examples: Coach Couture has me Working really hard on my Conditioning , im on the Tread mill and Bike daily im doing 5 (5 min) sets of Heavy Bag, Bike, Weights, Jumping Rope, Tread Mill
NOTE: The RPing of what Training your doing only will give you stat points if its your fight up next Just remember that.

Davis: Finally, my boy ALvarez gets to get into the octagon. Once again, I forsee Team Silva getting their hands dirty with the blood of a sacrificial member of Team Bisbing. They don't call Alvarez, "The Icemen", for nothing. The kid is a straight knock out machine. This is a good matchup for Alvy, as the story with Nght is that he is better at submissions than Alvy. But, you have to get close to Alvy to get him in a submission and his feet and hands won't ever let that happen. Night claims that he can't get knocked out, well we will see come fight time.

My fight is finally happening, the wait to get into the cage has been the toughest part of this whole thing but it worked out well in the end. I got the fight I wanted now I need to take care of business. I think I got more ways to win this fight then Frank does as I'm far better standing and alot of people are underestimating my ground game. I won't be winning Mundials anytime soon but My BJJ is good enough to make someone pay if they underestimate me there. Still the plan is to keep this fight standing so Coach Silva has had me drilling my takedown defense with Thomas Salerno and Scott Andrews everyday. He figures if I can fight off their takedowns I can handle anything Frank throws at me. I'm predicting that I'm going to break Night down with my kicks in the first before finishing him off early in the second round.

Round 1
F. Night tries to work an angle from the start, but is kept back by some sharp kicks, one landing painfully across the outside of the calf. Romy steps in and throws some punches, landing a crisp jab to the shoulder. F. Night lands a jab of his own, but gets hit with a vicious waist-high kick when stepping in to follow up. Good tactics so far from Romy, he is basically controlling the tempo and positioning of this fight through intelligent use of sharp, accurate kicks. F. Night comes in fast, faking left then going right, and gets close enough to throw some body blows. Romy gets in a right hand of his own, then a beauty of a high kick. It lands right on the ear, causing F. Night to back off quickly. If that had had more power, it might well have scored a knock out. The round is almost over. Romy has controlled this one, F. Night is finding it very difficult to find a way around those kicks. That's the end of the round.

**Spoiler Below**
Sherdog.com scores it 10-9 for Romy.

Round 2
Romy starts off brightly, firing in a couple of right hands and a fizzing kick that catches F. Night across the hip. F. Night tries an immediate response by coming in for a big left hook, but is forced to back up by a lightning-like head kick that flashes across his face. Romy storms in and hits a crisp jab and a snap right hand, then ducks out of the way of a counter punch. F. Night comes forward, and again takes a kick across the hip, then a second one that slaps across the shin of his front foot. Romy's kicks are allowing him to control this round, F. Night has so far had no answer. They meet in the center; Romy comes in from low-down, but misses a right hand. F. Night scores with a right hand to the side of the head, then a stinging right hand to the ribs. Romy shoots off a kick to the ribs, then comes back in from an angle. A faked takedown fools F. Night, and another kick hits home. F. Night clinches up, and must be wondering what on earth he can do to stop these kicks from taking him apart. Time runs down as they engage in a struggle while in the clinch, and the round ends without any further noteworthy action. End of the round.

Sherdog.com sees it 10-9 to Romy.

WOOOOOO, it feels good to get that win under my belt. Now I can relax abit and start preparing myself mentally for the second round. Night is a tough cat but I knew if I could keep it standing I would win pretty easily though he did catch me with a couple good shots during the fight so credit too him there. My kicking game just made it too hard for him to close the distance and get the fight too the floor like he wanted. Now I'm going to focus on getting Hammer ready for his fight so we can make it 7 of 8 for Team Silva in the second round.

Right now thats the biggest thing that is bugging me about the new Fighter Card info ive adopted , i need to Figure out how to Get Uniformity

Also I'm looking for Suggestions on anything that you guys see needs Improvement !!

Special Note: I'm not 100 % sure on what to do for the next round as, Team Silva has almost all its fighters , Not that theres a Actual Coach behind either team (other than team silva's coach picking the fights)
So any suggestions on that issue would help out

We got another striker vs grappler matchup for the last matchup of the first round. It's a pretty close race between Hrdlicka and myself as the best striker on the team. I'm better from the outside while he's a stronger fighter up close. The guy has a great clinch game blending some great technique with monstrous strength. I'm a pretty strong guy and Hrdlicka throw me around like nothing and he does it to the rest of the team as well. However, Hammer is bad, and I mean really bad, on the ground. We've had a running game on who can tap Fritz the most, with Scott Andrews in the lead currently, and those numbers are getting pretty high. Heck, even Fong taps Fritz without too much trouble and he would be the first too tell you he isn't exactly a ground wizard. The problem is that Sommerset is one, from what I saw that cat is pretty slick on the ground. Bruce has some good takedowns in his arsenal as well so if Hrdlicka closes the distance to work the clinch it could lead to a takedown and then it would be Game Over man Game Over. I'm really interested in seeing how this fight will play out hopefully Hammer can win it.

Sommerset:

I was happy to find coach Couture at the gym today. Things have been sporadic lately but I'm just grateful for any help I can get at this point. Most people are going to point to The Hammer's advantage in the clinch. Randy was worried about that too, so that is where we focused. I won't get into all that here, but I will give you a bit of what we worked on.

The first he wanted to help me with was taking the fight to the ground. Come on now. That's no secret. We worked on my take down set up and speed first. He lined D-Trot, Middleton and Hapak up and had me take take them down one at a time and then get up and move to the next. We did this for five rounds of five minutes each. Talk about your killers. That was great for my conditioning.

I felt pretty done at this point and was laying down in the cage when Randy called Ben, Nick and Frank into the ring. We did basically the same thing, but this time I was working on submissions with the BJJ guys. It was quite a test. Even though the guys are no longer in the tournament, they were all great sports. I think they really helped me with my attack positioning and submissions.

It was a good day overall. I asked Randy about Coach Bisping and he just shrugged. I guess no one knows.

Round 1
Good start from Sommerset, taking Fritz down almost immediately! Fritz scrambles though, and gets back to his feet without taking any damage at all. Sommerset will be disappointed with that. Fritz comes in and throws two big right hands, but neither connects, and they put him off balance, allowing Sommerset to score with a nice right hook to the side of the head, crunching into the top of the ear. Fritz felt that one for sure. He stalks Sommerset, trying to back him up against the cage. It doesn't work though, Sommerset keeps out of the way. Fritz tries a kick, but Sommerset catches the foot and uses it for a trip. Sommerset gets Fritz down for the second time, and this time is right on top of him in guard position. Sommerset throws some punches, then tries to pass. Fritz doesn't allow it, and tries to grab an armbar in response. Sommerset easily stops that, and throws some more punches. That becomes the pattern, as the fight falls into a predictable pattern; punches from Sommerset followed by a pass attempt, with Fritz blocking the pass and throwing the occasional punch in response. The round ends like that, just as the referee was about to stand them back up. The round ends.

**Spoiler Below**
Sherdog.com gives that one to Sommerset by 10-9.

Round 2
Fritz throws two high punches, then steps in for a hook to the body. Nice combination, but Sommerset defended with ease. They clinch up next to the cage, but a short struggle only ends with them separating and coming back in. Fritz range-finds with a couple of jabs. Sommerset wisely doesn't get too close. Fritz works for an angle. Sommerset steps in and fires off a scorching right hand, but it's well wide. He threw it with such force that it put him off balance though, and that gives Fritz the chance to counter by unloading with a bomb of a right hand, flooring Sommerset! Fritz follows up by diving in to try and finish the match. Sommerset is in trouble, as Fritz not only has side control, but he has pinned one of Sommerset's arms down between his legs. Sommerset tries to pull it free, but a couple of punches to the face force him to reprioritise. Fritz puts his hand over the mouth of Sommerset, smothering him and breaking his breathing rythm. Sommerset shakes free, but Fritz now moves up and gets into crucifix position. Sommerset is wide open, with little to protect his head. Fritz starts raining down with elbows and fists, Sommerset is getting pounded. A vicious shot hits above the ear, and that's enough to turn the lights out, Sommerset is out cold. The referee is thankfully in there quickly to pull Fritz off and make sure that Sommerset doesn't take any further damage while unconscious.

Fritz wins via 2nd round knock out with the official time being 1:29.

Man, what a great fight. I'm not going to lie I thought it was over when Sommerset scored that takedown in the first but I guess all that rolling with us payed off for Hrdlicka as he did a great job neutralizing everything Bruce did. Then in the second Bruce got a little wild and Hrdlicka made him pay. That was a pretty counter punch and that ending section showed you don't want Fritz on top of you pound away. He showed some pretty frightening power in those last few shots. 7 and 1 baby and we're going to take care of the last Team Bisping fighter next round.

Next Morning

(The eight remaining fighters gather in the training center)

Thomas Salerno: So does anyone have a clue as too what they called all of us in here for?

Alexander Middleton: I would guess it has something to do with the Quarterfinals but what exactly I'm not sure.

Randy Couture: Hey, Alvarez you're up first come in here.

(Alvarez walks into a room to see Anderson Silva, Dana White, and Randy Couture sitting around a table)

Romy Alvarez: Hello sir and coaches. I see that Bisping still hasn't shown up.

Dana White: Don't (censored) mention that (censored). I almost want to strip him of his (censored) title shot for the (censored) he pulled the last few (censored) weeks but watching Silva kick his (censored) (censored) will be more fun. Getting onto business, as you know Anderson has control of the pairings in the second round and before he made his picks we decided to interview all the remaining fighters to see who they wanted to (censored) fight. So who do you want to fight the most?

Romy Alvarez: I would be happy to fight anyone that is left but my top choices would be either Blaze or Hammer. I think either matchup would turn into a standup war and produce some serious fireworks.

Dana White: Alright, so who do you want to fight the least?

Romy Alvarez: The least, that is easy Doomsday. Thats boy right there. I realize that we might have to fight eventually and if it happens then I'll go out there and try my hardest to beat him but I'd prefer not to do it this early.

Dana White: Ok, thats all we need and thanks for the information. Go out there and call in someone else.

Confessional: I've been Ill for the past few days so I've been on the shelf not being able to help my team but going 7-1 shows how bad of a coach Bisbing is. I really don't want to be the one that faces that Giant Middleton he might tear through the next guy with all the jokes we've been throwin at him. Who I'd actully like to face in a good standup war is Fritz. He looked good out there and maybe I can stand with him for a 3 round war. I have been helping Middleton work on his take down defense and sub defense. He has improved hugely in those areas since he came to the house. I can't take any credit for that. The guy works as hard as anyone and is like a sponge when it comes to learning. I think he can get far in the tourny. J Davis is going to be his toughest test in my opinion. He has the best "MMA" BJJ in the house. If Middleton gets through this, I like his chances.

Training:

Anderson Silva: Everybody on the team has been working with Jason Davis to get him ready for his fight with Alexander Middleton. This is the last challenge of the season that Team Silva will face as a unit, thats the only bad thing about having my guys be so good, they will have to fight their teammates after this fight. The training for this fight has been the toughest all season, I've got Davis doing 12 five minute rounds with a new guy coming in each round, so he'll be in shape. Another thing I'm blessed with about my team is my assistant coaches, Nogueira and Machida. I think Nogueira is around 6'4, he's long and lean like Middleton, so he will be able to help Davis with the reach disadvantage he'll be up against, not only that but Nogueira is the best heavyweight grabbler in the world, so thats another thing he can help Davis with. Machida is one of the smallest guys in the Light Heavyweight division and he's proven that technique overcomes size, so he'll be working hard with Davis also. I've been working with Davis with the striking aspect, the one-two-ten (right, left, leg kick) will help Davis set the pace in this fight, our gameplan is to chop Middleton down with leg kicks, throw punches and get in close to avoid the reach, get a takedown and work for a submission or a GnP stoppage. Lets just say as good as Davis is looking, Alexander Middleton will be lucky to make it out of the first 30 seconds.

In House:

Davis and Alvarez hatch a plan to prank the Russian, Grigori. They pour out his Stoli Vodka and refill it with tap water. They laugh as they walk off.

Ten minutes later, Fernicola walks into the kitchen. He looks both ways to make sure he isn't being watched and then chugs half of the bottle of Grigori's "vodka". Thinking he has just drank vodka, Fernicola takes off his clothes and walks out to the pool..............

Alexander Middleton
Confessional:It seems ive been picked to fight Davis of Team Silva. Im the only one left for Team Bisping but Ive still been training extremely hard and I know I can pull of a victory for the Lads. Im a bit dissapointed that nobody from my Team made it to this point and from watching TUF as a young boy I know that I will have some of my opponents possibly on Team Bisping soon and that may change things up a bit...but at the end of the day we will all have to fight eachother.

Davis' greatest strength is possibly his cardio, the Lad can do so much for long periods of time its extremely impressive. He is also a great Jiu Jitsu practioner but I feel I may be able to contend with him on the ground. Watching his fight against my teammate I realized that he may not be able to finish me on the ground, but I wont get careless because anything can happen at anytime. As for my standup skills they have improved greatly, indeed I did knock out my opponent but I felt that was more of a punch that landed at the right time and place. I hope Davis trains as hard as I am because I am coming ready, my body isnt so sore anymore and even without Bisping, Couture has been working wonders with me. Lets hope this is a War Davis, good luck Lad. *Alexander nods to the camera*

Gym Training:Alexander is seen skipping as he warms up for another day of training. Several minutes later he begins striking drills, working on his technique, power and handspeed as Couture holds the focus mits and fires off orders. "Keep it up Alexander, this guy is going to want to knock you out...its in your best interest to knock him out first before he does the same to you". A yell resonates through the gym as the Scottish Fighter lifts up a large tire and then watches as it slams to the ground before lifting it up several more times. "Dont stop now! Run to the bags and do flurry kicks for a full minute GO GO GO", yells Couture as Alexander runs by him slamming his shin into a nearby bag. "KEEP IT UP MORE POWER COMMON", Couture begins to get slightly excited as Alexander begins to throw consecutively powerful kicks, although he is breathing heavily. Minutes go by and Alexander is seen in full sparring gear going against the other members of his team, they trade takedowns and standup with eachother each round a new and fresh member comes in to spar Alexander who is obviously very tired.

During the sparring session Alexander is taken to his back he feels himself getting extremely tired. "HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?!? COMMON DIG DOWN DEEP BOY", yells Couture his hand slamming agains tthe cage. With a yell Alexander lifts his opponent off of him reversing there position and then moving into full mount with explosive power landing several shots before Couture calls it off. The day ends with Alexander working on his Cardio and cooling his body off, the team relaxes in one of the hot rooms.

In house:Alexander sits on his bed a photo in his hands, its of himself, his family and friends as well as his dog all in a group photo. "Im going to do this for all of you", thinks Alexander as he puts the photo away and makes his way downstairs to where everyones hanging out. There he sees Davis and for several seconds they make eye contact before Alexander walks outside towards the fire pit where he eats his meal alone. A firery intensity is in his eyes, Alexander is ready to fight, he is ready to beat Davis.

Round 1
Tentative start, neither fighter is willing to commit yet. Davis fires off a jab, but it was easily blocked. Middleton fakes a kick, then comes in hard and fast with a takedown, sending Davis to the floor. The momentum causes Middleton to almost go completely over the top though, and Davis is able to flip him to the side and end up on top, in the guard position. Middleton tries to push free, but Davis forces him to go back to guard by raining down some jabs. Davis reaches over and tries to apply some sort of neck vice, but Middleton breaks it by bringing his arms up. Davis steps through in an effort to mount Middleton, but can only get to half guard as one of his legs gets trapped. Davis throws some strikes, then tries to work an armbar on the closest arm. Middleton rolls over and uses his free arm to keep that from happening. That goes on for quite a long time, with Davis determined to try and work the arm free and get an armbar, while Middleton uses everything at his disposal to block it. The round ends without Davis having made the breakthrough, although he clearly ran away with the round in terms of points. The round ends.

Confessional:

Davis: My gameplan going into this fight is to go full steam ahead at Middleton. I don't think anyone has gone staight at him, and I think he will get frustrated and lose his focus. Once I get him flustered I want to submit him with the triangle choke. If all goes as planned, I will be moving on.

Round 2
Davis hits the first punch of the round, scoring with a jab to the cheek. Middleton throws a left hook in response, but it's well wide of the mark. Davis steps in and hits a low kick. Middleton ignores it and shoots in for a takedown. Davis saw it coming though, and defends it brilliantly, sprawling at first, then pushing Middleton face-down to the ground so that he can take his back. Middleton turtles up. Davis hits a couple of hard shots to the body, but can't stop Middleton working his way up and turning over, pulling guard. Davis doggedly tries to pass guard, but Middleton keeps him at bay. The referee tells them that he wants to see more in the way of action or he'll stand them up. Not much of an incentive for Middleton to do anything, but it does inspire Davis to throw a couple of hard punches, albeit ones that are easily parried by the gloves of Middleton. Davis manages to work past Middleton's right leg, but gets caught in half guard before he can get the mount that he was looking for. The fight once again slows right down, with Middleton's tenacious defence frustrating Davis. Middleton sucks Davis into a clinch, and even tries a cheeky guillotine. Davis pushes him away though, and nails a beauty of a right hand to the cheek in response. I don't think Middleton will be trying that move again for a while. Davis grabs an arm and tries to twist it backward to create some torque. Middleton uses his free arm to grab his own wrist, preventing that from happening. The time expires without anything further of note happening. The second round is over.

Round 3
Fast start by Davis, who has thrown three crisp jabs in the first twenty seconds, although none of them got past the gloves. Middleton circles, drawing a lunge from Davis, allowing him to score with a nice low kick to the front leg. Davis ignores that and darts in for a takedown, but only ends up holding one leg, Middleton hopping on the other to remain vertical. Davis tries to push forward to complete the takedown, but Middleton manages to pull them all the way back to the cage before ultimately going down. That's a much better position to be in though, he has his corner right there, and can use the cage to effectively cut off any form of attack to the left hand side of his body. Davis has one leg trapped between Middleton's, and is struggling to get it free. He throws a couple of punches, none of them doing much damage, and then tries to work on one of the arms. It might be a kimura that he looking for. Middleton defends it well, without fully escaping it, Davis can't really do a lot with it due to how much he is having to stretch to apply it, due to his leg being trapped. Middleton suddenly releases the leg and scrambles up, looking to take Davis's back. Davis was ready for it though, and blocks it by pinning a half-standing Middleton up against the cage. It's a precarious position for both fighters. Middleton throws a couple of short-range punches. Davis gets a leg in and trips Middleton, putting him back on the ground, albeit this time in full guard. It was a nice escape attempt from Middleton, at least he can take heart from the fact that it resulted in a better defensive position. Time is running out, it looks like this round will end with them in this position. End of the round.

Sherdog.com sees it 10-9 to Davis. The official scores are: 30-27 (twice), 29-28 for Jason Davis.

Post Fight:

After a joyous celebration, Davis walks up to a dejected Middleton. Davis offers his hand "Alex it was an honor, you have my complete respect." Alex looks at the offering, smirks, and shakes Davis' hand.

Confessional:

Man, that was a great fight. Regardless, if I had won or lost, that was a great fight. I told you all that I was the one to beat this season, and I think I just proved to everyone that I am the favorite to win. After this tough fight, I get to rest and watch everyone else beat the crap out of each other. Until then, it's party time!!!!!

In House:

The remaining fighters are shown by the fire pit celebrating the fact that Team Bisbing has been completly eliminated. Every one is doing shots and having a good time as Middleton is in his room packing up his belongings. After a brief final walk around the house, Middleton walks out to the fire pit and takes a shot with the boys.

Confessional/Fight Announcements:

Anderson Silva: Wow, I can't even begin to say how impressed I am with Davis. I kept it to myself, but I thought Middleton was the favorite to win this whole thing, and the only reason I put Davis in this fight is because he was the only one to ask for it. Big win for Davis, making sure Team Silva will be the last team standing in the semi finals. Now comes the hard part, my boys will fight their teammates in the following match-ups:

Thomas Salerno vs Jesse Fernicola
Scott Andrews vs Fritz Hrdlicka
Romy Alvarez vs Grigori Grigorev

Davis: What a testament to Anderson Silva. He has proved that he is the premier MMA instructor. The tough part for him, and for me, is that after weeks of getting to know these guys that Coach Silva and myself will have to watch our team destroy itself. You know, Fernicola can't drink but he can fight. I see Fernicola getting the win over Salerno by submission. Fritzy is a very underated fighter, and I predict we will see him knock out Andrews in the frist round. I can't say anything bad about my boy Alvy, well except that he does have a funky smell after training, and I see him totally destroying the Russian. Three great fights are on the horizon.

Hell of a win for Davis. My boy controlled that fight from start to finish and made a huge statement about his skills. Man, it's kind of weird not having anyone left from Team Bisping in the house. The atmosphere is just funky as most of us have gotten really close and become good friends over these last few weeks but we all realize that we got to fight each other now.

In a way my fight with Grigorev is the easiest fight I could get. I haven't said two words too the cat outside of training so I won't have any problems fighting him. I think it's a pretty good matchup for me as I'm by far the better striker and while Grigorev does have a good ground game his takedowns suck so it should stay standing the whole time. I say I'm going to win a UD since he is a pretty tough bastard.

In the other two fights we got a couple of classic striker vs grappler matchups. Blaze and Hammer need to keep the fights standing while Salerno and Andrews want to take it down. I'm going with Salerno by sub in the 2nd and Hrdlicka by TKO in the 1st.
