However, most the write-ups before we got confused with (Bluestar and Arrows specifically) thinking they are seeing "Good things" when they were actually seeing exactly what I thought they were seeing all along (IER Can back this up, as it was him guarding that they seen... Thinking he was a good guy protecting a good guy, when it was the DON's House all along).

Anyways, things like smoke, clouds, rain, cars, lightposts, all different types of roleblocking.

Trust me on one thing. If anyone is a good person on that list, the Mafia know who it is (since they know who is the bad guys on the list).

Considering the write ups, it would seem to suggest that the event Trypio foresaw is The Phoenix Force merging with Jean Grey as Celeste had the strongest connection to the power of the three sisters.

I don't know how familiar you are with The Phoenix. It's ALWAYS bad news. I would much rather prevent than try and stop the unstoppable killing machine once it's in motion. Thanos has been killed before. Galactus has been defeated. Phoenix has only ever brought about her OWN destruction. In fact, Galactus was no match for the Phoenix when they met.

Anyway, about the night phase. The thing/vampire/person that tried to attack The Hulk, wasn't that a bad guy? Didn't sound all that friendly to me but I can't put a character to it so perhaps it's a good guy.

As for the Astil thing, first, I got your claim, which considering the theme of the game I'm smug about. Second, I wouldn't be all that keen in keeping you around for the next night phase after all the talk of the dark phoenix. I can't see it being a case of "if he turns bad, lynch him" because surely for the Phoenix Force to take control of Jean Grey, someone needs to BE the Phoenix Force to target Astil, at which point Astil dies and someone else that we don't know about takes over as Dark Phoenix? Hopefully that all made sense...

I'm caught up and fresh from the shower (Panix-free thankfully). I hate to say this but I think lynching Astil might be in the best interests of the town even though he is a townie. I'm no Marvel expert but I used to watch some of the X-Men cartoons and some of my friends know a LOT about comics (Phil was very sad about Iron Man's early demise)... and from what I've gathered The Phoenix is pretty much a bad thing wherever it appears. It's not ideal but unless someone can throw us scum then I think this is the right way forward.

1. He knew what he had to do.

If they were who they said they were, it was more than worth the risk.

He watched him conversing with another. Waiting, from the shadows, for the opportunity to strike, unaware that their were others in the shadows as well.

2. The other having left, it was now time to strike. No use for subtlety, he burst through the wall, catching his target off guard. A few swift strikes and the man didn't even have time to put up a decent fight. He grabbed his prey and lifted him high into the air, when suddenly another man entered the room.

Thanos, the mafia(s?), and the whole gem situation are still out there as well. Putting all of this effort into watching/stopping the Phoenix tonight would leave us wide open in other key areas.

I'm starting to get Welcome To E-Ville flashbacks, in that Astil is a potentially key character and there will constantly be debate on the merits of keeping him alive versus taking him out. It'll be one giant distraction until it is permanently dealt with.
