Wow... great news that THT was replaced, never been so glad to see the back of anyone in a loooong time. Sorry Arrows, but he really was worse than even you said he could be.

I came back with 20 pages to read expecting to see the end of the night phase... and now it turns out that I've just read through a whole lot of nothing AND still have to do cleaning in my flat cos we're getting some kind of stupid inspection happening tomorrow at an as yet undisclosed time. I HATE landlords, especially if they are large companies who can't pull their fingers out of their collective cavities to do anything for us but are quite happy to make sure we do something for them.. .*grumble grumble*

She was famished. At first she was reluctant to do what must be done to ensure her survival; but now, she was beginning to like it! The hunger consumed her, she couldn't think, all she wanted was to feed; and tonight she would make up for the meal she missed.

But it would be him, she told herself, tonight, only him. She passed countless potential meals as she wandered the streets looking for the one she'd feast on. Diligent, she tried to follow the rules she'd laid out for herself, but the Hunger was great and her will grew weaker. She needed a moment to herself, to rest, to prepare herself to ignore the hunger, to ignore her primal need.

She ducked into a dark alley. That's where she heard the peculiar noise.

Though he feared no one, he knew the potential problems do-gooders could pose to him should he be discovered. So, he waited well into the night, when the town had all dispersed before approaching the gallows.

There, several bodies swayed in the cool night time breeze. Why they were still there he did not know, perhaps as a reminder to the town of their abject failure. Perhaps as a warning to all as to what was to come, however, to him, each body was an example of the strength of his dark designs. And everyday he became closer, and closer…

It wasn’t here. But he wasn’t worried. His confidence was such he knew he’d soon find them all, and then everyone would join this strange fruit growing in Central Park.

Oh my, its like watching two midgets fighting in a sack. In fact, I am not gonna do this. I won’t kill her. I refuse. Now, Goodbye!”

However, he returns in just a few short moments, covered in blood.

What happened!?!

“Well, I started talking about her and I got all excited and decided to hit her up for her phone number, but she turned me down! Can you believe that? So, I guess I err, I snapped a little and killed her.”

Wait! Wait! You killed her, off the set? You killed her.. FOR REAL?!?! POLICE! POLICE!

“Well, that’s my cue to go. Maybe I’ll see you all later. Ciao.”

He had been searching all night. His target was as good as dead, that he knew. If only he could find him. The Nightmare grew more and more frustrated with each passing minute as he hopelessly bounded the rooftops looking for his prey. As the frustration grew, the Nightmares patience did as well, finally stopping in a darkened alley he screamed.

"Where is he!

He Hides!

Hides from US!!!!"

Frustration soon gave way to anger, as the Nightmare thrashed about the narrow alley. Dumpsters were sent hurtling against the sides of buildings, trash cans flew into the nearby streets. A fire escape was ripped right off a building.

The rampage continued. Until.

Until he saw her laying there. Dead? No, still breathing. But certainly not aware.

The Nightmare walked up and gazed at Astil, still full of rage.

"Well I guess you'll have to do, won't you?

Deep within the city a blood curdling shriek was heard as someone or something sensed what happened.

The man without fear had set out to once again take his post; ensuring that the city would be safe. He noticed every detail, and one thing was clear something didn't feel right.

He heard a noise in the distance.

And from the house emerged someone unexpected. Right house he thought to himself, but this was definitely not the owner. He continued to survey the area trying to detect anything out of the ordinary. That's when he sensed it.

The attacker hovered behind him, the fearless one turned and swiftly threw his billy club the at the attacker. He had done so millions of times, most times he'd hit the mark perfectly, other nights he'd be slightly off by a fraction of a millimeter, on the very rare occasion, he'd miss entirely. But on this night. The club would do something completely unique.

On this night, the billy club stopped in mid air, hovered for a split second as the other man smirked, and with just the flex of the hand flew right back from where it came, striking djthefunkchris square in the head.

He was dead before he even hit the ground.

He was hard at work as he had been every night. Creating these machines. Machines he hoped would help the town survive this ordeal. He had one with him now, and knew just who to give it to. Someone he could trust. Someone he knew would use it well. Everything was set, he opened the door to his vast laboratory, ready to set out for the night.

On the other side of this door however, stood a problem, a mighty big problem to be exact.

The scientist opened the door and was immediatly frozen with fear as he gazed at the creature standing before him. Little time to think, the creature swiped at his throat. Down, the scientist was scrambling back across the floor now, as the hulking beast continued it's march toward him. Frantic, he reached out and grabbed the intercom. He had to be around, he had been since this whole mess started. The scientist screamed into the intercom for help, hoping his ally would be there as he usually was.

But, tonight, there was no answer.

Tonight he was alone.

The creature watched in amazement as limbs flew this way and that, one just missing him as it began punching buttons into the pad on the wall. The creature smirked and clamped down on the elongated arm with his razor sharp teeth. The scientis yelped out in pain, trying to free himself from the creatures grasp. But it was hopeless, before he knew it the beast was on top of him.

A minute, perhaps less, is all it took for the creature to drain Akki's supply of blood. He threw the body down, and began searching. He ransaked the laboratory until he found it. A red glow lit the room as the beast stared at the gem, once again satisfied with a job well done.

It had happened. The being felt it instantly and knew it to be true. How could they? How could they waste such a gift? Frantically the being made it's way to the alleyway, that had seen so much attention this night.

This could not be.

This could not stand.

But there she was, pitifully laying in this filthy place, like a vagrant. What had they done? They'd find out soon enough, the being thought to itself.

It entered the body of the fallen hero and instantly the energy flowed. Not entirely as powerful as it knew it could be. But enough to take revenge on those that foolishly let her perish. She rose from the alley and ascended high above the surrounding buildings, as she let the hatred burn. Those who were brave enough to look would say that the sky was set on fire that night. A fire with the brightest most intense heat anyone had ever thought possible. Those who were brave enough to look would later say they wish they hadn't.

However, we should slow down. Let Arrows get back, let Derek reveal what he feels needs revealing, and let everyone get a word in. No need to rush anything and make mistakes...

I'd say we don't let Derek/BIGJOSH convince us not to lynch them. We've had just about everyone prodded role-claim and enough is enough with that. We can't show that we're willing to lay off as soon as a claim comes up... We let Derek go, and he kills a gem holder!

I'd say we don't let Derek/BIGJOSH convince us not to lynch them. We've had just about everyone prodded role-claim and enough is enough with that. We can't show that we're willing to lay off as soon as a claim comes up... We let Derek go, and he kills a gem holder!

Okay, so Venom's text is back to Purple. Looks like my Red Recruit theory was off, which is good news as far as I'm concerned. Looks like plenty of people were fine with killing Jean tonight.


The man without fear had set out to once again take his post; ensuring that the city would be safe. He noticed every detail, and one thing was clear something didn't feel right.

He heard a noise in the distance.

And from the house emerged someone unexpected. Right house he thought to himself, but this was definitely not the owner. He continued to survey the area trying to detect anything out of the ordinary. That's when he sensed it.

The attacker hovered behind him, the fearless one turned and swiftly threw his billy club the at the attacker. He had done so millions of times, most times he'd hit the mark perfectly, other nights he'd be slightly off by a fraction of a millimeter, on the very rare occasion, he'd miss entirely. But on this night. The club would do something completely unique.

On this night, the billy club stopped in mid air, hovered for a split second as the other man smirked, and with just the flex of the hand flew right back from where it came, striking djthefunkchris square in the head.

He was dead before he even hit the ground.

First of all, TAKE THAT, THT! If that ain't Magneto (or Magento), I don't know what is. Also this is where whoever else was teleported by Nightcrawler ended up by the looks of it.

Then we have Derek killing Akki. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about this one!

It had happened. The being felt it instantly and knew it to be true. How could they? How could they waste such a gift? Frantically the being made it's way to the alleyway, that had seen so much attention this night.

This could not be.

This could not stand.

But there she was, pitifully laying in this filthy place, like a vagrant. What had they done? They'd find out soon enough, the being thought to itself.

It entered the body of the fallen hero and instantly the energy flowed. Not entirely as powerful as it knew it could be. But enough to take revenge on those that foolishly let her perish. She rose from the alley and ascended high above the surrounding buildings, as she let the hatred burn. Those who were brave enough to look would say that the sky was set on fire that night. A fire with the brightest most intense heat anyone had ever thought possible. Those who were brave enough to look would later say they wish they hadn't.

Well, ****. I should have guessed this would be the other way it would work - Jean's death WAS the trigger, and now we have the mother****ing Phoenix unleashed. Brace yourselves!
