IMO, X's killer (Thanos) is indy. His goal is to get the Infinity Gems, meaning that the members of my group as well as Dr. Doom have to die.

Dr. Doom seems to be part of a mafia group, something like the Masters of Evil, maybe? Or maybe he's in a different group and Masters of Evil is another one.

Doom doesn't know what the gem is. He just takes it. Therefore, I doubt he needs it/them. Although he does have a pretty powerful one in his possession.

Black Bolt - ? (Kree had been impersonating him)

Some people have stated that this is set before Civil War, so that means that WWHulk couldn't even be coming up (so there goes my hopes, lol). I couldn't help think that though, since these are the people that sent Hulk into space.

You know... IF this is at all correct in any way form or fashion..... Then the best thing for "Doom's" Group to do would be to work with the town and your group to overcome "Thanos".

Just saying, the greater "evil" that seems to come around in comicbooks, where Good and Bad character's have to decide to work together to get the worse one out.

This has been an interesting day so far.

Despite the questionable handling of the situation, I think we have to trust Midnightnick and Akki for now. It's a suicide claim if they're lying, and it's not like there are a shortage of groups they could try to use for a false claim. Maybe they've decided that suicide is their best play, but I'm not confident enough in that to take action at this point. If they aren't what they claim, then I'm sure there are some out there that know this and will decide how best to handle it.

And I'll wait to hear from Typhoon before deciding on that.

Not always, balance makes the game ALOT funner for some, ALOT LESS fun for other's, when it's one sided.

I liked the character creation screen.... You can bassically make a replica of anyone you want.

Vanguard's was very good as well (actually better... better then even the wrestling games *Raw vs Smackdown). No one plays that I know though... Or that is the game I would pick up for just the beauty of it (I have it with my EQ subscription).

I'm pretty sure that if someone gets them all, they win. I'm pretty sure it's guaranteed for at least one player, but I don't know how it would work if, say, a townie got them all. Or, if Doom's scum group gets them.

From what I know, that would probably be the Reality gem. It has the power to grant wishes that break laws of science which if you ask me is pretty damn powerful.

Here's my theory: If there was a more powerful gem (reality gem in this case) the creators of it would have to grant it's protectors a specific power, just in case someone sent an army on them to retrieve it. So what if that power would make the holder of the reality gem bulletproof? PGO anyone?

I'm not one to really explain Civil War, as I've never made it through the entire thing.

From what I know, there was a registration act for super heroes. Some sided with the power and revealed themselves(Spider Man/Iron Man), and others fled and hid, refusing to do so. It became a Civil War between the two factions. I can't give specifics because I honestly don't know them.

As for my 99% thing.

I can now say after a bit of reading, that I am absolutely positive, my role is pre-Civil War.
Spider-man switched sides once he realised that the Pro-Registration guys were prepared to use lethal force to win. They also brought in a Robot Thor who killed Goliath, which caused shockwaves throughout. They built a prison in the Negative Zone, hired the Thunderbolts to round up an army of villains...

It all came to a head with a huge battle in New York. The Resistance was winning very clearly until Cap realised that this was all insane - they were supposed to be heroes, but were all destroying the city with their fight. He surrendered, and was assassinated shortly after in Captain America #25.

Basically, i havnt read any books since the Magneto/Wolverine de-adimantium story.

But after spending the last 2-3 hours reading up on the happenings since, of at least some of the Marvel Universe, im 100% sure my role is pre Civil War.

What i learned, mainly surrounding the infinity gems, leads me to suspect a red mafia group consisting of something along the lines of Thanos, Loki, Galacticus, Dr. Doom, and Dark Seid. Galacticus, is only speculation, but those are the main no good types associated with the Infnity Gems.

More speculation, What if that said mafia obtains all the Gems, would lead to a Yx'gft type happening with NEMESIS bieng released.

Never, ever speak of the events from the retarded Ultraverse. No Rune, no Prime, none of that BS. There is no seventh gem. Also, although it's been pointed out already - Galactus would definitely NOT be aligned with Thanos or anyone really outside of his Herald, Darkseid is DC...

ROTFLMAO. Galactus is not evil. He is a fundamental force and requirement of the universe. He has never been after the gems. Darkseid is in DC. This is Marvel.
Exactly. Plus, Galactus did very little during the Infinity Gauntlet - most of his role was just to get blinked out of existence.
