Yes, I'm Deadpool. And I kind of lied the other day. With every unsuccessful protection my chance of killing went up until it was 100%. My thoughts were, at worse I could become a town vig. Now I never intentionally missed my protection attempts because a protector is just as as useful. So to last night.

I noticed ya brought up several times and thought it might we worth a shot to protect him (if possible). I was at 75% at that point so I figured if at worse we lost a silent guy. You know the rest. I've also found out that I will not become a vig after all and I also have to continue to protect every night. Any more questions?

How can you continue to protect every night if your chance of killing went up until it was 100%? If there is 100% chance of you killing who you protect, then you can't protect anyone... you just kill... making you a kind of Vig, which you claim you aren't... I'm befuddled >_<

Arrows, typically I would not think a PGO could be swapped, as bus driver-ing requires targetting the two subjects, and a PGO goes off on anyone who targets them. So DD's killer wouldn't be a PGO, because Nightcrawler would have been killed by targetting the PGO.

Can we say that with certainty? To borrow a phrase, I'm 87% sure, but I could see where Nightcrawler could avoid a rebound attack like that.

That's what I was counting on. When I got to 75% I figured going vig was best for us especially with Pun gone. That's why I was asking about the vig the other day.

Personally, I don't know if Phoenix is automatically our biggest nightmare. We haven't witnessed what she could do yet. Maybe Thanos, as Arrows said, is a better choice. Maybe because we KNOW what Derek did last night he's the best choice.

Still, a well known enemy is easier to deal with than a new one, so I'll leave my vote on our potential Phoenix...

(That's another thing... Arrows' list is almost surely accurate, but not 100%. Derek IS 100%... He admitted to being the killer...)

For decades he had been protecting earth from the dark forces of the mystic relm. Tonight he was holed up in his mansion, studying the black arts, preparing himself for the task he knew was soon at hand. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be around long enough to help save this city.

The creature was prepared, it knew how to get into the mansion, mere spells would not hold back one with such unrelenting determination. Quickly he entered the house, through the study, a right down the hall, leading to the stairs down to the cellar. He burst through the door, razor sharp teeth flashing as he quickly grabbed a hold of his victim. A brute, the creature pounded on the man, no spell would save him from the brutality of the attack.

When all was done, Gonvick lay there, drained of blood, a shell of his former self.

The creature not done, turned his attention to a large statue in the corner of the room. To any other it would look like a mere gargoyle, but he knew different. It was his real purpose for being there. A crushing blow to the head of the granite figure and all was revealed in the warm green light that emanated from within the husk of the statue. The creature smiled knowing that he had done well.

Like everyone else I'm more than a little scared of what Phoenix could do to everyone, I get the feeling she's indy aligned too. Anywho, I've been lurking around here for a loooooong time now and it's gone well past 2am. I've got a lot of tiredness coming my way and I still have to find somewhere to stay.. and get money back from a work colleague... and keep this flat tidy for a stupid flat inspection. I wish this were June.. then I'd have a flat, TEW08 full release and probably more money somehow too. That'd be nice. Night all. :)

It's nothing against you and I mean that. You're allowed to do what you want, it's a game after all and its suppose to be enjoyed. I don't want you to think that I'm trying to take shots at your or anything. If you were outing your buddies I'd have a problem. The scum have the kills, so if he takes them out first, then there are fewer people who can take him out at night. By being incredibly helpful during the day, he reduces the odds of people taking a closer look at him.
