Just got up. Glad I have vacation coming up. These 12 hour a day 7 day a week crap is getting to me. :(

So, we're less than five hours from a no lynch unless something changes here.

I've already laid out the reasons why I think Sprinkle is the best lynch choice here. And really, the only thing I've seen to contradict that is that Blue's draining of him knocked him out for two day phases instead of one and that a lot of people just "feel" like this is the best move.

Anyone got a better reason for me to change my vote?

I lose the ability to use my day investigation if I am targetted at night. I lost it on Day 8 as I was out as a result of Blue's attack. I couldn't post or participate that day. I didn't get to use it on Day 9. I first assumed that it was a carry over from not being able to do anything during the day and night 8. But I may have lost it because of TDS's protection. I asked REv. I got the :cool: and the reutterance of the condition that I lose it if I am targetted at night.

This is the final vote count on Moe. I don't see Outlaw's name on here at all.

Just something that came to mind. Figure I'll do my own legwork to try and get me to change my vote. :p

Ok, chris, I know you asked me about that sprinkle/outlaw conflict earlier, and I don't know, something about sprinkles posts just made me think he was really scummy...

Outlaw has been cleared countless times, including by one of the gemholders, all sprinkle has got is a bunch of reverb... Yeah, outlaw may be the don, but sprinkle, and his predecessor, Whitey, have just both looked really scummy to me all game...

outlaw's character makes sense.

The fact that TDS would've known he was good also made sense.

The time that sprinkle even showed up in the writeup he sounded quite evil, I'm really thinking keeping outlaw around is the MUCH better option, and that voting off outlaw will just give Thanos and his crew a victory party.

Day 11

It was yet another rancorous day wherein nearly everything was challenged and contested. Rather than focus on the negative aspects of such a contentious debate, we turn our attention to a rose bush located off a main pathway leading to the gallows in Central park.

It is there, as the wind picks up, that a solitary fly stops to rest its weary wings. Even a creature as miniscule as it detects the sense of dread permeating the air. Alas, it has more immediate concerns, as it has unknowingly landed on a spider’s web.

It struggles to free itself as the voices carry over from the gallows. Yet, the more it fights, the more it becomes stuck within the web. Then, of course, comes the first tremor. The spider has made its appearance and is deftly traversing the web’s myriad cross sections of strands all to seize its prey.

The spider bids no welcome. It is not there to mock or judge, only to do what spiders do best… which is to kill and eat. Unfortunately for the spider, a strong gust at that moment broke the web’s support, and it tumbled down to the ground trapped inside its own machinations. It’s prey then managed to free itself and escape.

The question to the remaining townspeople is this, who among them is the spider, and who is the fly, and has the trap been sprung, or will they escape?

As it stands now, at the end of day 11, no one was lynched.

I will eliminate the other one. My day investigation of Destiny came back negative. Translated that means he isn't Thanos. If the town makes the mistake and lynches me, I don't want them to make another one and lynch Destiny. Night 11

Since the moment Professor X had telepathically alerted them all to the threat, Angel had been by the town’s side, putting his body on the line to help the town win. Undeterred by recent events, he planned to do the same thing tonight.

Unfortunately for him, others had their own designs, and they would brook no more interference from the likes of him.

The blade glinted in the moonlight as the assassin held it in the perfect position to signal him from below. Angel knew that it must be a trap, but he could not let this pass. The person below him might very well have been involved somehow with Professor X’s death. They should not go unpunished!

Angel wasted no time in closing the distance between he and the figure on the ground. He was perhaps no more than twenty yards away when figure turned the sword blade slightly, using the moonlight to illuminate her face. It was then that Angel saw the most dangerous woman in the Universe smile…

She’d show them, the doubters and the haters, she would show them all that not only could she be trusted, but that she was worthy. Tonight, someone would become well acquainted with her hunger!

She had one particular tasty morsel in mind. And she had spied them earlier, turning down an alley. It was in that alley, at the bottom of the fire escape, that she heard the screams coming from the rooftop above. Something truly horrendous was going on up there, and she must stop it!

She had just planted her foot on the iron railing of the fire escape when she felt the hand clamp down on her skull. The pain was so sharp she nearly passed out.

In that moment, Famine’s heart should have stopped, however, given her unique abilities, she somehow managed to survive by drawing energy from the hand clamped on her skull. The figure behind her surmised the situation instantly.

He chuckled. “What a nuisance you truly are. Here, little one, try taking your sustenance from this…”

Suddenly there was a decrease of pressure on her cranium. She had enough time to turn before the gauntlet touched her forehead.

There was a white light, then only a lingering red mist that wafted in the air… the final remains of her head exploding.

Today however, he’d finally reveal himself.

Theoutlaw321 lifted the Gauntlet in victory, as the heroes before him cowered. His designs had succeeded, there would be no stopping him now. Some gathered around to witness the event, others merely wept in the saftey of their own homes.

In a blink, day turned to night as a dark cloud engulfed the globe, the only light being that which emanated from the gauntlet “he” held in his hand. A light laughter filled the air as two among the town stepped forward bowing to their Masterlord. Jbergy_2005 and djthefunkchris turned on the crowd with devilish grins, knowing full well that they had chosen the right side.

Thanos, the Eternal Titan smiled; as the gauntlet began to glow. Fire erupted the surrounding city spreading as far as the eye could see. It took mere minutes for the city to be raized to the ground. As people , buildings, everything burned, he smiled. Not one of happiness, or victory, but of content. Content that the deconstruction of the galaxy might finally begin.

Sorry if there was any confusion from me still counting votes, etc.

Rev and I had discussed this last night, that if the Titans killed two townies, they would effectively win, not by pure numbers, right away, but because of the extra abilities a Gauntlet using Thanos would employ for the remainder of the game.

The choice was whether to let the game drag on to its assured conclusion or just call it. I didn't know until you all did that Rev decided to put the game to rest.

I think it was the right decision.

I apologize for all the troubles that occurred during the course of the game and all the screw ups I made as a co-mod. And I do want to thank you all for the patience and understanding shown with the recent personal travails in my life.

I hope you all enjoyed the game.


P.S. If any of you want to criticize certain aspects of the game, or the whole damn thing, hehe. Feel free. Both Rev and I agreed that the game could have been better balanced in certain areas. I'll probably add my thoughts on this later (you know me... always critical, even if its something I helped with) :D

Too little too late on Lost's part.... We asked for their help in the beginning (or at least I did)... No one stepped up to talk for them. It enabled Outlaw to keep the town doubts of them high.

I can recall Rev and I debating the the Ressurection description. Originally I think we felt it should be obvious a gem user is bringing someone back.. mainly as a very temporary meatshield...but that would just result in the person immediately being lynched or night killed as a result.

Ultimately though, it is more fair to let that person explain it themselves (or not if they don't want to).

I am glad it worked out.. I think it was a first for Mafia games here. To ressurect a player and a role.

Key points that led to Thanos victory in my opinion.

IER not looking Townie enough to trust... This is the number one reason he had to die when he did. He was all over us.

Vision...... MW saying weird stuff that wasn't around (Skrulls), and made himself, and thus Sprinkle, look scummy by not participating.

TDS..... Was right about everything but one thing. I think there might be more to that story, not sure..

Wallbanger not being active, and never really catching up I don't think.

And... MASTERDED. HE was just "OFF" somehow this game. I thought we would make a good team, but I was killed off, and had to work against him.

I know there were some compolaints by a Red Mafia member about game balance, and Rev and I agree to an extent.

The Red mafia started with 5 guys, one of them a traitor. They could recruit one more, but their Don had in his possession a Gem which his counterpart Thanos wanted.

Unlike Thanos, Dr. Doom really couldn't use the gems. He could use his stolen gem one time to change a person's allignment ( a one shot framer).

So, Basically Dr. Doom had the town, Thanos, and Apocalypse against him.

We agree that wasn't entirely fair.

On the flip side.. Mephisto gave the Red team a huge edge when it came to kills.

Gonvick/Dr. Strange was a crime scene investigator who could eventually establish who killed A/B/C/D by talking with the dead...

Mephisto had an ability to terrify the souls of the departed, making them silent when Dr. Strange tried to converse.

This would have covered the Red team's kills had Dr. Strange been a factor in the game.

The fact that Dr. Strange wasn't a factor, and that maybe Mephisto seemed a littlke gimp as a result, had nothing to do with us. Several Illuminati members made, I think, bad choices, and GonvicK/Dr. Strange died early as a result.

If I remember correctly yes.

I will also add, I know at least once, possibly twice, they never sent in a PM for a night kill target, so a target was chosen at random for them on at least one occassion.

Nothing i could do about that.


Also, Lost almost killed Outlaw his last night in the game. That same night Jberg killed TDS, which was the last gem, giving Outlaw immunity to night kills.

Rev had to use a random number generator to determine the order of the kills. Had Lost's kill went through first, Outlaw would have died.

But the numbers weren't there.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Somehow the "Cult" Type groups seem to have the upper hand when having a RED mafia, and a CULT.

Almost everygame I have played that had both, the RED Mafia had little to work with... While the "Cult" type seemed to be better off (being able to "Choose" when to act, and certain things like that). When your forced to kill, and have to pick a target everynight, without a way to "frame" one of your member's to look townie, it makes it hard to work...

That being said, I think it's hard to balance these games. In my opinion, what happens is that the Mods look at what the town has to deal with, and bassically balance it as if it's Both groups vs. Town. I'm thinking maybe it would be better to balance out mafia vs. Mafia vs. Town (as three seperate entities).

The SK role... I haven't figured out yet. Still working on it.

You guys werent really a full, true blue mafia group, at least until you had all the gems.

/nod. I understand that the RED team bassically performed poorly. I'm not saying they didn't have a chance. I'm just saying that I think the balancing sometimes effects what they can and cannot do...

If they can't frame and protect and kill in the same night, then they are handicapped. If they have no way around various targets, and someone else does... They are handicapped. Even if it is in the form of completing this or that first, to gain these abilities, it's better then never being able to have them at all.

I am saying all of this without even knowing what the Red team was capable of though, some of this might be "Mute" points. I'm speaking in general mafia games though, not specifically this one.
