~ PRESS.CONFERENCE ~
The conference area his seemingly packed. The reporters and fans of Japanese MMA are all in attendance. They await to here from the new president of World Victory Road and what he has to say about the future of the organization. As they wait diligently Vic Dorian, a translator and a few business men of the company come to the stage. They align themselves behind the podium in some chairs. As one of the Japanese representatives takes the stage and the podium, he lays out some news as well as the new signing of a president. He then continues to introduce the new president, as Vic Dorian takes the podium and begins his part of the conference call.

Vic Dorian: I didn't make a speech, so I will try not to mess up to much... It is quite an honor to be the new president of World Victory Road. I am a huge fan of MMA and have been for a very long time. When I heard that an opportunity was open, I took it as quick as possible, luckily I got the position and can stand in front of you loyal fans today. I will now open up the floor for questions and answer to the best of my ability..

Reporter #1 (translated): What goals do you wish to accomplish as the new president of WVR? There is also alot of hype coming into this project. What are your thoughts on the hype?

Vic Dorian: My main priority is to put on an enjoyable product. I want to give the fans exactly what they want. Pride, prided itself on being the best. I think that taking the same route as Price FC and trying to go straight to the top and compete with the UFC and other top organizations in the states is our main focus. As for the hype, there is hype behind virtually everything. the hype doesn't bother me. Everything is hyped to be good or bad. I am just glad we have some good hype and it will be just another fun challenge for me to accomplish.

Reporter #2 (translated): Reports have been flying around that, Emelianenko Fedor, the former Pride champion and current pound for pound fighter in the world is in talks with WVR. Is there any truth on bringing in the cornerstone of Pride to WVR? As rumors of DREAM approaching him are also floating around.

Vic Dorian: We are in talks with several fighters. It is true, that Fedor happens to be one of the fighters, we have spoken to. I don't want to get into that a whole lot, as it will be announced at another time. With DREAM in talks too. It would be nice to solidify our conversations with a contract, but it isn't that easy. We will see what happens, We wont disappoint though.

Reporter #3 (translated): With some success with 'Sengoku', When is 'Sengoku II' scheduled to happen and what can you tell us about the Main Event?

Vic Dorian: 'Sengoku II' will take place on the first Saturday in May. the main event is not even been picked yet, but I can tell you that Barnett, Gomi and Ludwig will all have fights on the card. That is all I can say for now though. I am going to have to call an end to the press conference early, but I thank you for your time and look forward to entertaining you fans, each event. Just remember to follow the future MMA phenomenon in World Victory Road.

'Sengoku II' Fallout
After the success of 'Sengoku II'. World Victory Road president, Vic Dorian has announced the date for 'Sengoku III'. The show will take place in June. Live from Kinki, Japan. The card is set to be headlined by Josh Barnett defending his Heavyweight title against stiff challenger Gilbert Yvel. The heavyweight champion Josh Barnett was crowned at 'Sengoku II' when he defeated the immovable object in Mark Hunt. On the other end is Gilbert Yvel who earned his shot after defeating Kazuyuki Fujita. The only fight that is set in stone is Ryo Kawamura taking on Ivan Salaverry. It was announced the day after 'Sengoku II'.
-------------------------
'The Black Legion' Jason Black has announced he has signed with World Victory Road. He is no longer employed by IFL and it an exclusive fighter to WVR. The question on everyone's mind is... What Jason Black will arrive? Will it be the 'top contender' or will it be the 'lackluster end of the road' Jason Black. The seemingly unstoppable Gomi may have more competition for his gold.
