I use to be a big fan on watching the wwe every monday and friday night, but lately I have been really angry at the management as well as the ownership for allowing William Regal and Vicki Guerrero to keep doing the things that they do. Vicki Guerrero is no General Manager and the first time that William Regal was General Manager he was very bad and didn't do a good job. THe point is that I have been a fan of the wwe for many years dating back to when it was called the WWF. Now the wwe is so bad that I am gonna start watching TNA Wrestling and stop watching the wwe. If they were to fire both william regal and vicki guerrero then maybe I keep watching the wwe but I am fed up with the way things have been running on both shows. Lastly the fans should get more respect since we pay to watch them.

I have to say that William Regal is an awesome worker and will play out any role that the WWE give him.
Vickie guerrero is a pain the butt, although you do seem to be judging them as if their actions were their own and that they werent scripted. Although Vickie isnt a good worker by any means in the case of Regal he can only be as good as the role that the WWE creative team assign him and in my opinion he has done a great job with the crap that they have given him.

I second Blasphemy's opinion. Regal is a great worker... one of my best wrestlers.
As for abandoning the WWE ship... join the club. I've watched WWE sparodically in the last 8 years, and that's when my brother-in-law hijacks my TV... I'm coaxing him towards TNA at the moment.
Maybe if enough people board the TNA boat the McMahon Empire may start to take notice to the fan opinion that WWE currently sucks and we'll have another war!!! Everyone knows the E works best once it's hit the iceberg.

sorry, just the first thing that came to my mind from reading the first post.
I have to say I love posts like this. Not in a "OMG look at this mark lol" way, but in a "Good. There are still people who can believe and get emotionally involved in the stories" kind of way. I think we here at GDS, seeing as our interest lies in booking wrestling, tend to have a very backstage-y attitude towards the business. We rate performances of the workers above the deeds of the characters, and although that's a valid way of looking at it, it separates us from the drama. No wonder we're abandoning WWE, we've pushed ourselves out of it's target audience. This isn't WWE's fault, it's ours. Our nature, our desire to discover the nuances of the business has led us astray. It's not a bad thing, but sometimes I think it's not a good thing either.
Although perhaps this isn't the right community for it, I'm not going to ridicule this guy for posting this, I'm going to applaud him. There are days where I wish with all my heart I could go back to his way of thinking. We are not better than him for being 'smarter' to the business. We're just different.

One of the many reasons that I still watch the wwe is simple. I like superstars like Shawn Michaels, Batista, The Undertaker, Kane, Triple H, and The Big Show. For a lot of these superstars their egos are bigger then it should be and that is the big reason why I just don't like it as much as I use to like it. Edge, Carlito, The major Brothers, and Vicki Guerrero are just a few people who have a bigger ego then they should have. These people are ruining the wwe for fans to watch. I believe that if they changed their egos to a more positive one then the wwe would be more popular then it is now. Plus when you have someone like Mr. McMachon who doesn't care about the fans in what they think should be done then the only thing to do is leave and go somewhere else.

I would love to go back to the time as a kid when i thought it was all real. To be honest i enjoyed it all alot more.
I have to give credit to wwe for vickie. They don't have to have her on the pay role. I think they feel some kind of debt to eddie and that is why she is there. I respect her for atleast trying. Let's be honest, she is not there because she is hot or good on the mic. I think she does have a certain something though.
Regal, that guy is just a legend i think. While his in ring days might be gone i still think he is very good at getting over as a heel. i have some very good memory's of him. Anyone remember the pee in the tee with jericho? classic stuff ;)

The thing that bothers me right now is that all of WWE's primary storylines right now are focused on out-of-ring characters. I've never been a fan of the heavyhanded GM figure, and now EVERY brand has one. And now they're setting up feuds between ANNOUNCERS, of all things -- trust me, before Summerslam there will be some kind of 'showdown' between Adamle and Ross over perceived slights.
In the meantime, are there any compelling stories in the ring to support and build up PPV-level matches? Not really, despite the fact that there's decent material to work with.
