I'd like to be the first to publically demand that Grey Dog do the right thing, corporately speaking, by cracking the whip on Mr. Ryland the second TEW05 is done.
The target demographic doesn't lie: We need a WreSpi 2.

:p

Seriously, I'd like the company and creator to possibly one day consider a sequel to this often-times brilliant game. I understand that it's a niche of a niche of a sub-genre (heh) - but I do believe there are enough loyal fans of the innovative WreSpi to at least make it worth the while.

Thank you for the consideration.

I think it's an almost certainty that WreSpi2 will happen, on the grounds that I personally love playing it, so that's a big motivation for me. One of the reasons that so much work has been done on the CornellVerse custom move sets is that I love just sitting around blasting through a few Exhibition matches every so often.

My main aim would be to make the career mode deeper, as it's a little too easy at the moment, and make relationships a lot more vital. That also seems to be the weakest area of the game from feedback.

The second would be to take the TEW2005 booking engine and use that on WreSpi to make the cards, as that would improve the title defences and repetition. That would also address the other area that people find weak.

The third would be to keep the existing match engine (personally I think it's excellent as it is, so no point in rewriting it from scratch), but build on top of it. I'd love to make the move sets even deeper, so that people have a subset for weapon-based moves, and taunts would be used so that there's a lot more fan interaction. I'd also really like to take a shot at doing culture-specific move sets and moves, so for example piledrivers would be illegal in Lucha feds, as I think that could be mind-blowingly cool.

So those are the three main areas that I'd like to really have a go at. The good thing is that WreSpi is already pretty stable, the concept seems popular, and the match engine is great, so that means I could spend most of my development work on improving features to take them to the next level.

Umm....

If you actually manage to implement those plans, you will be my personal wrestling gaming jesus!

If that'd was to happen, I'd get more people then Joe Moralee and Steel to buy the game. :)(Most people wouldn't buy it because they're poor!, But most are hyped for TEW 2005.. Meh).

Anyways, Brilliant ideas Adam. You have A mind better then Paul Heyman's!

Am I the only one that is still having problems winning matches? I still have version 1.5, and I still lose more matches than I win. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Biggest problem I've seen that needs worked out for Wrespi II:

Feuds are a waste of time. If I'm in a feud, my human guy can only gain feud points by winning a fight. But he can LOSE EVERYTHING when the guy he's feuding with gets to beat the s--- out of him, or run him down with a car, things I can't do to him ... make feuds more complicated than just "winning matches," like it was back with EWR :)

Yeah wresspi was great but its like EWR in the sense that once you know what your doing... its easy.

Really? Would this donation cost roughly between 25 and 35 American Dollars? Maybe more if Adam decides to raise the price or less if he lowers it?

If WreSpi 2, would WreSpi 1 be on the market at a lower price because I know of one person who's worse then my character in KOTOR2 when it comes to spending money...
