So, I had some time to kill waiting around for the cable guy, and went through the threads and grabbed a ton of alts. I started around ~page 50ish and am up to 210. I'll zip 'em and throw them up one rapidshare when I finish.

It's far from 100% complete, I skipped a lot of the "same alt but slightly different features/colors" but it's still a TON of alts and for those of you who haven't poured through the threads downloading pictures, I've got them and renamed them properly.


Which reminds me. FINisher is by far my favorite modder because he preserves the space in the names to follow the rest of the TEW naming convention.

Last time I tried to get there there was 500 participants in the test and 44 places.. I did quite well but didn't manage to get in (93/500) and I really hope that I can do better this time.

Yeah, I was kind of torn as to whether or not I wanted to try an alt of him. The only reason I decided to was so that I could get the paint to match up a little better with Hidekazu.

Anyways, glad you like it. I may revisit this one sometime in the future as I'm not too thrilled with the final product. If I do, I'll post it here.

This one was really hard to because of the skincolour of Elmo and the amount of things to erase. This is the best I can do, sorry. Moving his face started to creep me out. I stared at that face for atleast 5 minutes when trying to do this alt. He had no body, nothing else but his mouth, nose and eyes.

I am such a noob with all things graphics and pics. I gave it a shot myself and did a Squeaky McClean alt. I am using Gimp. Tried to do the others too. but I cant figure it out for the life of me since they require cutting and resizing. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. :)

In order to cut his arm and hand I had to copy the right part of his chin and basically mirror it. Is there a better way to do things like that, do you have to use some advanced poser software for it or can it not be done differently? :)

ok this one is way out of my skill range. All I could do is experiment a little with giving him other people's mouth. I can't do anything about noses or headgear. I think it would look best if he had no headgear at all and a hairdo similar to that of Billy Jack Shearer. But all my attempts at something like that look like total crap. So here is RVP with some different mouths. Maybe this can help someone to pick up from here.

The second request is to transform Stretch the Chicken Boy into a raver. The biggest thing I can think of is to get a pacifier in that mouth to cover up the missing teeth. I think the shades can work, but maybe dying the hair different colors, giving him a glow stick necklace or something like that.

Slight modification to this request. I would like the first request to stand, but replace "Stretch the Chicken Boy" with Keith Vegas. He's going to be a "dancing raver" so maybe give him so wild hair colors, glow stick necklace, and anything else appropriate to a raver.

Found the web site sadly this guy wasn't up there anymore. J. Lebron does some incredible work. If you're reading this, that stuff is amazing. True shouldn't have used without his permission, especially since (I don't know how recently) on the forums on his website he and adam have a "working agreement" ( a little TEW word play ) of sorts.

Never mind I found Him , he actually looks way different than his pic here leads one to believe. Now I can add him to database and make a profile for him. Strictly for personal use unless otherwise given permission.

More or less, if someone could go ahead and create this alt render for me that would be amazing! :D I would really appreciate it (as so would my creative streak as I continue to write this diary out).

Name: Dead Bolt
Changes: I'm looking to create Dead Bolt into a new gimmick called "The Slaughterer" or something to that affect. In a sense, think gory horror film monster much like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Jason. It'd be great if he had some sort of torn apart mask (meancing) and maybe even some blood on him to simulate that he just got done slaughtering something.

All in all, Something that screams menacing monster in the form of a meat slaughterer.

Am I the only one that loathes extreme close ups? Especially ones with funky head angles. Jack Avatars head position looks as though he was smacked in the back of the head just as someone was taking his picture.

Slight modification to this request. I would like the first request to stand, but replace "Stretch the Chicken Boy" with Keith Vegas. He's going to be a "dancing raver" so maybe give him so wild hair colors, glow stick necklace, and anything else appropriate to a raver.

The second request is to transform Stretch the Chicken Boy into a raver. The biggest thing I can think of is to get a pacifier in that mouth to cover up the missing teeth. I think the shades can work, but maybe dying the hair different colors, giving him a glow stick necklace or something like that.

Honestly, I don't have a clue. I got it from my massive .bmp file of random bits and pieces. I believe I used the same beard on a Sean McFly alt when I first started doing them, and that was well over a year back. Even this alt I actually did ages ago. Gumble was supposed to have a beard in Episode 1 of my diary, but I changed my mind when I rethought out the character arc.

but if I were a betting man, I'd probably say Teddy.

Alright, For Clash Classic, I need some new alts, so if you come up with it, could you please PM it to me ?

1. The Demolition Crew (Derek Frost & Alysian Scottsfield)
Changes : I Need them to really look like a construction crew, go all out with this one, picture these two as two guys preparing to destroy a building.

2. Thug Life (Slim V & Hardcore Killah)
Changes : Again, make them more thuggish, like a street gang, Slim is on his way, but it's not enough.

3. The Fighting Irish (Robbie McNamara & Jason O'Connor)
Changes : Leprachauns :p, simple as that.

4. The Conglomerate (Danny Rushmore & American Machine)
Changes : Businessmen, so basically, Shades, Suits, and Ties. DONE

5. The Kelowna Playaz (Gregg Boone & Craig Green)
Changes : Their pictures don't really strike me as "Playaz" as it would be, I think they should have some gambler gimmicks.

6. Dark Angel
Changes : Make him more dark, perhaps a face paint color change ? Just go all out on this turning him into a true Dark Angel. DONE

That's totally understandable, FIN. People get excited about alt renders because they know you'll do a good job with it, however, at the same time, I think we all understand that you're a person who has a life on top of things. So, if you're not feeling the whole alt render thing then it's certainly cool with you taking a break, or bowing out all together. ya know?

You've done great work up until now and really helped the GDS community with the 1,000 that you've done. If you were to stop doing alt's tomorrow, You would still be known as one of the best in that aspect.

like it was said you've done so much for so many people. If you decide to keep at great if not thats just as good as with nearly 1,000 alts under your belt a little time off is deserved. The way I have my page layout (mostly for this thread) a few alts on page 90 still need to be filled, the alt's requested for the 75 mod characters haven't been filled unless done privately. other than that I think most of them have been taken care of.

When I select all the images ranging from the first one to the latest and unselect the ones that are photoshop files or just parts or other images, it gives me a total number of


1,097 Alts.


I haven't counted the GCC resized into the number. It seems that I had crossed that milestone when doing GCG alts, some of which I wouldn't count as being alts since I only did the background into the images which used in the GCG diary. Still, without those images the 1,000 picture milestone IS now officially crossed with "normal" alt pictures.


Thank you everyone, it's been my pleasure keeping the diaries and the savegames alive. It's nice to know if I have helped people. :cool: And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.

i'll take that as a compliment and for that thank you FIN. I'm not sure if my diary is going to work out it seemed to be doing well when I first started it but now I'm starting to think the only time someone reads it is when they think its the PSW diary by eisen-verse:rolleyes:; which i hear is very well so kudos to him. I'm gonna say this one straight. I really suggest that you don't add any timelimits to requests. Seriously. We do this for free, when we have the time and inspiration. When someone asks for requests with somesort of a deadline that really kills any motivation that I have. And for one thing, are these alts going to be used in just that one show? :o

For further requests, try not to hurry anyone and be sure to ask the alts weeks in advance. That's how all the other people get their requests done.

I'm seriously hoping that I'm not discouraging anyone from making alts here :( losttrem, try the other way around. I always resize the object and not the head/body of the worker I'm trying to do a new alt. It's far easier to modify the selected piece, whether it's a suit, hat or a prop and then fit that one into the default image of the worker in mind.

I'm gonna say this one straight. I really suggest that you don't add any timelimits to requests. Seriously. We do this for free, when we have the time and inspiration. When someone asks for requests with somesort of a deadline that really kills any motivation that I have. And for one thing, are these alts going to be used in just that one show? :o

For further requests, try not to hurry anyone and be sure to ask the alts weeks in advance. That's how all the other people get their requests done.

I usually end up doing them months in advance. The downside is that I don't always use them like I intended due to the extreme time difference...

I'm seriously hoping that I'm not discouraging anyone from making alts here :( losttrem, try the other way around. I always resize the object and not the head/body of the worker I'm trying to do a new alt. It's far easier to modify the selected piece, whether it's a suit, hat or a prop and then fit that one into the default image of the worker in mind.

Don't worry. I'll be the first to admit that I am totally noobish in this and any kind of advice is greatly appreciated. I tried to resize the suit at first but I think I picked the wrong kind of suit and it came out all wrong. I picked the kind of suit Tommy Cornell wears in his alt and Cornell's pic is much more zoomed in on his face than Gauge's pic, which shows his shoulders and parts of his arms, while his neck is significantly thinner. So I had to stretch the suit in size while I had to make it's neck thinner which I couldnt figure out to pull off decently.

You were spot on! It's virtually impossible to do Cornell-sized suit on Matthew who's so far in the image. I selected all the other small suits where the person is far in the image, like Preston Holt and some announcers.
