Still not a bad effort. Now to figure out something fun to repackage him with. But while we're trying to figure that out, could we please get Bill in a Kentucky headband like his ball cap in his default pic?

Dude, I just had perhaps the greatest sports entertainment Wrestlecrap idea for somebody in dire need of a repackaging makeover. Could somebody please make up Steve Gumble to look like The Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz? And then some sort of manager figure (Maybe Harry Allen) with a remote control box to be Gumble's handler. Just think about having to try and wrestle an RC robot.

So maybe something along the lines of a snarl on his face (rather than a smile), some bad ass sunglasses, and maybe more menacing.

I'd like to see him as more of a "Tazz" like character (back in his ECW days). So, It would be great to see him in a different light then the one he looks like now.

It is the last piece if the puzzle you might say. Sorry for being a pain in the ass. Hopefully someone else would be willing to do it since even though I have been a PITA it is just a small request and it's not like I am in here everyday asking people to hurry up and get me a new request over an over again.

First bump eleven hours after posting request. Next bump nine after that.

This being a thread where folk have been pushy and gotten the dander of other folks up, and that being the reason why there is no request-a-new-render thread this year, I then suggested he chill. Eight hours after he acknowledged that was fair came next bump - this is nine hours after his prior, so twenty-nine hours after request there have been three bumps for it.

Within an hour of that third bump someone said 'bear with me, I'll get to it'.

In fairness, the next time there was a full day's gap.

In contrast, I (for example) have yet to bump the request I submitted beforehand. Mine is for a diary, but I can wait. Brush with Greatness submitted a request three days ago, and has yet to bump. Eisen-verse is over twenty-four hours and has yet to bump.

I can see Nedew's point. I understand the frustration of the wait, but these things happen.

Looking at the pics that were just posted, I don't think it's him looking happy that's the problem. He looks to down to earth. Like someone you might team with Dazzling Dave Diamond or Mad Dog Mortimer to play blue collar country boys.

For the type of gimmick you're describing, I'd probably look to more of a shorter haircut and maybe a two-tone beard. Perhaps a blonder ear-length bowl type look on the hair. Maybe scrap the full beard and go with one of those micro-goatees that cover only the center of the chin. Or a little beaky Van Dyke like Spike Dudley had when he went heel.

The idea is that Hell Monkey gets his throat crushed with a chair and is out for a couple of months and then comes back with Lassana and The Big Problem as "No Evil" a stable based on the Three Wise Monkeys. Hell can't speak, Lassana can't hear, and Hugh can't see.


Also, how exactly do you guys do these things? I've seen some posts that say that some use GiMP and some that use renders (which program exactly?), but it still seems like a daunting task. Also, do you render the C-Verse workers yourselves or do you just have all of them done already and just add and change from there?

I can't use GiMP to save my life. I tried to give Tempest the Mime look myself, but couldn't for the life of me keep the nose looking like a nose with white on it.

I'd say go with a leather Vader / Mankind sort of headpiece, something strapy and leather. Maybe a meaner angry less sinister look on his face. Sorta' like angry yelling Batista, if that makes any sense.

as for me I use gimp since I cant afford to buy photoshop and gimp is free
although I belive Photoshop is the better choice.

there isnt really any rendering involved its mostly just cutting from one picture and pasting into another picture and trying to make it look like its not pieced together.

I done a quick search but found nothing, so I was wondering if anyone could come up with some unmasked pictures for some of the masked workers in North America. Any of the more popular ones, guys like Fumihiro Ota, Ultimate Phoenix, Acid etc... would all be cool.

And at the same time, could anyone make me a masked one for Deano Machino (Dean Daniels) that makes him look more like Insane Machine. I'm using them as a tag team and Deano just looks rubbish next to Insane, so I'd love to have a version of each of them with and without masks. :)

I've been playing with the Plague pics, I like his purple colour scheme more than the rest so I've been using that in my diary. But if I can ever manage to steal American Elemental to my roster then you just KNOW I'm going to have the Dark Optimus mask coming out for at least one match. :)

Even so... I'd love to have some unmasked pics of people too. I've always wondered what Ota would look like under there and never been a big fan of his picture. Just looks like a big block of black these days in comparison to some of the other awesome pictures we have.

If someone could modify Whistler so instead of holding the US flag he's holding the Confederate flag that would be great.

This one is a little harder. Inspired by LOL mention, I'd like to ask for someone to create Confederate Dragon. Basically A redneck in a cool mask haha.

I was thinking along the lines of a Rey Mysterio style mask with out the wings at the side, the mask to be red and instead of a cross could there be the Stars and Bars of the Confederate Flag to be leading into the eyes.

# 2 is a hard request and if it doesn't get picked up i won't mind but i'd be quite pleased if someone did. Thanks in advance if someone does give it a go.
