UPDATES: Removed FCW and MAW working agreements.

UPDATES: Tweaked the product details

This is just a place to get out the information for my little modification to the Cornellverse

Firstly, credit goes to Eisen-Verse for the thread, and everyone else who responded to the thread. Any type of input would be amazing! Especially with the product.

Premise is that Nemesis opens up his own promotion following the end of DaVE.

Name: Nemesis Championship Combat
Initials: NCC
Profile: John "Nemesis" Campbell was left without a job following the closure of DaVE, but he then spent the following months gathering investors, and getting ahold of his various friends and contacts from across the globe. Then, in November, he debuted his creation, Nemesis Combat Championship, giving his ring name to the promotion and now going simply by his real name. NCC combines the hardcore brawling that made DaVE so popular with some of the brightest young talent from across the globe looking to make a name for themselves. They have close working ties with PGHW, WEXXV, and even TCW, as Cornell and Campbell have renewed their friendly rivalry, and combined their hatred for Rich Eisen.
Set to Open: November 2007
Location: Mid South (USA)
Prestige: 35%
Money: $500,000
Product:This is the sketchiest bit, but here's what I have so far:
Traditional: Heavy
Mainstream: Medium
Cult: Low
Risque: Very Low
Modern: Key Feature
Realism: Low
Hardcore: Low
Lucha Libre: Low
Daredevil: Medium
Popularity: All 0's but:
Midsouth: 35%
Midwest: 10%
Southwest: 10%
Tristate: 20%
Owner: John Campbell
Head Booker: John Campbell
Promotion Pacts:
PGHW Working Agreement
PSW Working Agreement
SWF At War With
TCW Working Agreement
WEXXV Working Agreement

Roster: Campbell hired a load of the top unhired talent in the US. He also used his connections with PGHW (Kunomasu) to bring in some of their top youth talent, and some various other workers that John thought would be great for his promotion. The full roster with a detailed summary will be in the next post.

Interesting idea. You'll need at least one "Key Feature" in your product settings (from what I vaguely know about Nemesis, I'd figure Traditional or Hardcore) and that's a LOT of working agreements. This might be good from a variety sense, or it could make things too safe. War helps. Interesting project.

Air Attack Weasel
Juniorweight Division
After coming back down from Canada and 4C to return to the American independents, Weasel was shopping himself around to the various promotions before John Campbell picked him up to join the juniorweight division.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/AshCampbell.jpg
Ash Campbell
Juniorweight Division
John's son was a natural lock when the his dad opened his own promotion. While still working with PSW, as his father urged him to, due to his friendship with Naess. Campbell is a key part of the juniorweight division.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/BusshoMakiguchi.jpg
Bussho Makiguchi
Teams with Chojiro Kitoaji as "KitoGuchi"
Makiguchi looks to be one of the best young all-around talents in PGHW, but his size could hold him back against the physical specimen that populate the promotion. This won't cause any problems in NCC though, where he tags with his regular partner Chojiro Kitoaji.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/ChojiroKitoaji.jpg
Chojiro Kitoaji
Teams with Bussho Makiguchi as "KitoGuchi"
The son of one of the top names in PGHW history. Kunomasu managed to convince Koryusai that sending his boy to America would be the best way to get his name out there and to teach him new techniques he wouldn't learn by just staying in his homeland. He finally agreed, and Kitoaji tags with Bussho Makiguchi in NCC now.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/DougPeak.jpg
Doug Peak
Teams with Henry Lee as "The American Psychos"
Doug Peak hasn't been seen in America since he left DaVE for WEXXV. This caused many people to get bitter, despite he did it in his own best interest since he didn't have any work following Eddie's push. John Campbell didn't have issues with him, and have brought him and Henry Lee back to the USA.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/DynamiteNarahashi.jpg
Dynamite Narahashi
Heavyweight Division
John Campbell follows the puroresu scene pretty well, and so when BHOTWG released Narahashi, a former "Japanese Rookie of the Year", he quickly made an offer to bring him to add variety to the Heavyweight division.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/EisakuKunomasu.jpg
Eisaku Kunomasu
Heavyweight Division - Guest
A former DaVE Brass Knuckles champion, Kunomasu had a great run in DaVE, and left to return to PGHW under extremely good terms. This caused Campbbell to give him a ring when he was starting up NCC. Eisaku brought KitoGuchi over with him, and to help NCC get off the ground, he agreed to wrestle for the first six months of the promotion.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/ElSucio.jpg
El Sucio
Juniorweight Division
"The Unclean" is an upcoming luchadore who caught Campbell's eye with his wild, dirty style of brawling combined with traditional lucha libre high flying maneuvers. He adds an interesting dynamic to the juniorweight division by adding brawling on top of the flying.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/EricTyler.jpg
Eric Tyler
Heavyweight Division - Guest
NCC Heavyweight Champion
Following the closure of DaVE, Tyler went up to the great white north of Canada, working with the DeColts in the CGC. However, after lots of pleading with the him, Campbell managed to convince Eric Tyler to agree to a deal similar to that of Eisaku Kunomasu where he would work the first six months. As a symbol of good fortune, Tyler was granted the first NCC Heavyweight Championship with a victory over Kunomasu.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/FumihiroOta.jpg
Fumihiro Ota
Juniorweight Division
"Super Ninja" is often considered one of the most talented wrestlers in the USA who, for some reason, hasn't had a steady, secure job since he was released by TCW in 2005. His fate turned for the better however, when he was hired to join the juniorweight division in NCC.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/GreaseHogg.jpg
Grease Hogg
Teams with Lead Belly as "The Dirty White Boys"
When the Dirty White Boys got released by the SWF, Campbell immediately contacted them to join the fold, thinking they were two of the best brawlers in SWF in recent memory. As such, he brought them in right away to anchor the tag team division.

Part two later...

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/GrueSlugg.jpg
Grue Slugg
Teams with Hugo Garrido as "Los Destructores"
Slugg's big powerful brawling style never fit in quite well in the world of Lucha Libre, but John Campbell thought that he would work within NCC. He was going to be brought in as a solo worker, but Slugg petitioned and eventually he convinced them to bring in Hugo Garrido as well to add to the tag team division.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/Grunt.jpg
Grunt
Teams with Stink as "The Nation of Filth"
One Half of the NCC Tag Team Champions
Fresh off their release from the TCW, Grunt and Stink were a lock in NCC, where they could play up their hardcore brawling style of wrestling, and have it get them over with the crowd. They won the Tag Titles and have since been in a bloody feud with The American Psychos which is causing everyone to take notice to them once again.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/HenryLee.jpg
Henry Lee
Teams with Doug Peak as "The American Psychos"
A former three-time champion in DaVE, who shocked many people when he chose to join WEXXV over DaVE. Since then, he won the King of Deathmatch Championship, and the Blood Brothers Championships with Doug Peak. John Campbell called Lee and asked him if he wanted to return to the states, which he promptly agreed to, bringing Doug with him to join the tag team division. They're currently feuding with The Nation of Filth over the Tag Team Championships.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/HugoGarrido.jpg
Hugo Garrido
Teams with Grue Slugg as "Los Destructores"
Like his partner, Hugo Garrido's style isn't like most typical luchadores. He brawls better than his partner though, and has a solid hold on technical wrestling. It was well documented that the original plan was to just bring in Grue, so Garrido is working twice as hard to prove his worth.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/JungleJack_alt2.jpg
Jack Marlowe
Heavyweight Division
"Jungle" Jack Marlowe has one of the top gaijins in Japan, working for GCG, where despite never holding gold, is one of their best talent. He has come to NCC in attempt to finally break up in his homeland the way he has over seas. He's going by his real name, with no gimmick, and has gotten over very quickly if only for his high level of talent.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/JuniorYouth.jpg
Junior Youth
Juniorweight Division
NCC Juniorweight Champion
When SOTBPW split Junior Youth and Masked Rebel, everyone thought that Youth would be able to survive on his own in the midcard, due to his level of talent. This didn't work though when the writing staff couldn't find anything for him to do, he asked for his release which was agreed upon, and he moved up to America to try out something new. He immediately started working in CZCW, and shortly after he signed a contract with NCC, where he has become the first Juniorweight champion.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/LarryWood.jpg
Larry Wood
Heavyweight Division
Larry Wood is one of the most interesting characters in the entire wrestling world, and that's saying a lot for a profession of ghouls, spirits, and chicken-people. He's probably the smartest person in the sport too, but plays the role of a crazy, wild, savage brawler. He would have been a perfect fit in DaVE, so Campbell invited him to join NCC, and he did without any questions.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/LeadBelly.jpg
Lead Belly
Teams with Grease Hogg as "The Dirty White Boys"
The other half of the Dirty White Boys, Lead Belley and Grease Hogg caught John's eye while in the SWF, and since their release they transitioned their careers smoothly into the NCC, where they're a pivotal part of the tag team division.

Last Part tonight...

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/MadmanBoone.jpg
Madman Boone
Heavyweight Division
Madman Boone has the most national popularity out of everyone involved with NCC due to the fact that he's a former TCW International and Hardcore Champion. He took some time off to rehab his ailing body after leaving the TCW, and has decided to get back into the game, and has joined the NCC.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/SgtBubbaLeeWest.jpg
Sgt. Bubba Lee West
Heavyweight Division
Bubba Lee has one of the most convincing gimmicks in the United States, and is a completely competant brawler. He hasn't, so far, gotten a shot to prove himself, until now. Campbell offered him a shot, and since then he has made his way to the top of the card at a rapid pace.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/StevieGrayson_alt1.jpg
Stevie Grayson
Juniorweight Division
A former multiple-time TCW Cruiserweight Champion, Stevie Grayson hasn't been up to a whole lot since his release until he recently competed in the Rip Chord Invitational, which he did well in and caught many people's attention. One of these people were John Campbell, who offered him a contract to bring him in for the Juniorweight Division.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/Stink.jpg
Stink
Teams with Grunt as "The Nation of Filth"
Fresh off their release from the TCW, Grunt and Stink were a lock in NCC, where they could play up their hardcore brawling style of wrestling, and have it get them over with the crowd. They won the Tag Titles and have since been in a bloody feud with The American Psychos which is causing everyone to take notice to them once again.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/SUKI.jpg
SUKI
Juniorweight Division
SUKI is one of the top young wrestlers in Japan who has been heavily courted by PGHW. He recently made his United States debut with a fantastic showing in the Rip Chord Invitational. He signed to PGHW upon his return, but Kunomasu managed to get SUKI to return to America with the NCC.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/TheDarknessWarrior_alt.jpg
The Darkness Warrior
Heavyweight Division
The former Raul Darkness of TCW fame, where he got released following Jay's giant re-packaging. The name value of his tag team, along with his sound brawling skills have allowed him to keep a job through various promotions, most recently in NCC.

http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c267/fuelfan0102/TEW/VinTanner.jpg
Vin Tanner
Heavyweight Division
After the closure of DaVE, many thought that Tanner was going to call it quits, due to the fact that he's on the older half of forty years old. However, a well-timed phone call from John Campbell and Tanner decided to lace up his boots and get at it one more time.

--------------------------

So there you have it. I updated the product in the first post, and I'm in the process of booking the first show to see how it works out. The only other contracts that i altered was removing Junior Youth from SOTBPW and adding him to CZCW, and as mentioned, adding SUKI to PGHW.

If anyone is interested in playing as this you can create the promotion from all the details, or I can go ahead and upload the game data for you guys. I was thinking of adding the write-ups of the first couple of shows so you can a heads up on what's going on so far.

Even if you're not interested in playing it, some feedback would be great so I can see what people think of my take on Eisen-verse's brainchild.

That's a big roster! What sort of financials are you dealing with? Strange to see Doug but not Eddie (I suppose he's busy) but thrilled to see Tyler staying true to his roots. You've made some of the same signings I've made in my DaVE update to replace the massive exodus of guys. I'm excited to see what you do with it, and to see how your product flies! (the product is one of the parts I struggle with - I have a mediocre sense of what the product aspect actually means.)

I think the roster is very fitting however it does have a lot of guys. I probably wouldnt have brought in Junior Youth for example. Also the only working agreement I would have would be TCW, and the Japanese promotions. I would only have an at War agreement with SWF. No need for working agreements with any of those other promotions at cult, small, and regional.

thanks for the responses, and let me answer some things:

The agreements did seem big at first, but then I trimmed them down, here's the reasoning for them:

TCW: Rekindled friendship between Nemesis and Cornell

SWF: Agreements between Nemesis and Cornell causes a war between SWF and NCC.

PSW: The other heir apparent to DaVE.

WEXXV: Nemesis mending the former relationship with WEXXV that died with DaVE.

PGHW: Kunomasu's whole deal with bringing over SUKI, Makiguchi, and Kitoaji.

I was going to have agreements with FCW and MAW because PSW had those agreements too, so I figured I would do a whole network of friendly promotions.

And the roster, according to the ideal roster, is 6 people over, but it's because I added more people because of the tag team system. I personally count each tag team as one wrestler, since I have a very strick division set up between the two weights and tag teams.

I didn't want to have titles and not enough defenders, but it looks like this:

5 Tag Teams
7 Juniors
9 Heavys(with 2 taking off in 3 months)

I just dont see the purpose of having a pact with a small promotion like PSW. It only prevents you from signing their workers. Then you have to send your guys to them in exchange to get guys off their roster.

Mattlore Devious

Well you can sign PSW workers but just not to exclusive contracts, so its not really a problem until the company becomes large enough - then you can declare war on them and crush them in a bloody battle...muahahahaha!
